    Wow all I can say! The customer service that was received during the whole wedding adventure was amazing. From the first time we visited to the taste testing and the day of, The Lofty Spaces was a perfect answer to all my wedding questions and needs for my perfect day!
    Bruce and his staff was very professional and getting to visit on Wednesdays or even emailing between the staff and myself was great as well! I would recommend this venue for any type of event!
    Oh my can't forget the food! Chef Bo, can throw down in the Kitchen! His food was perfect, his BBQ didn't even need sauce and then there was the Mac and cheese! People couldn't get enough of it!
    I will continue to suggest this place because of everything The Lofty Spaces has to offer!

    What a great experience! We had our wedding at lofty spaces a little under a year ago. I can not recommend lofty spaces enough. The owner was both flexible and accommodating to our needs/wants.In regards to the food.... Bo catered a great meal. The location allows you to transform the space into what you dream of. Make sure to check this place out!

    Excellent venue for fashion shows, corporation parties and great space for photo sessions. Great location with plenty of parking.

    Lofty Spaces was amazing from start to finish. I booked roughly 11 months in advance for my June 2016 wedding.

    Bruce was up front with every detail in the planning process. He did a great job of letting me know exactly what to expect from him and his team. He almost always answered calls, texts and emails usually within minutes if not within the hour. (He was also funny, and had lots of great stories.)

    Ladell, who was onsite the day of, was amazing to work with as well. Its funny how when you treat people with respect and friendliness, they'll do the same to you! He really did go above and beyond when it was raining at 4pm, and he assured me that it'd stop and to not make a decision on moving the ceremony until 6p. HE WAS RIGHT!! I'm so thankful to him for calming me down and telling me to wait to choose!

    By working with Bruce and Ladell and meeting with them throughout the year, we got a lot of extra value-added items that really put our wedding over the top in excellence. They are GREAT people.

    Let's talk about Bo, the on-site caterer.
    Holy.Jeeze....my guests were astonished at the high quality of food that was served. They RAVED on and on about how delicous the steak was, and couldn't believe it was THAT good from a steak buffet line. Baked potatos, mac n cheese, coleslaw and salad - all top notch. And they packed me and my husband 2 to-go containers to take with us!

    I'd highly suggest any DYI type bride to use Lofty Spaces (and all my other vendors too, bc they were all top notch).

    Loved this venue for our wedding - it allowed us to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception inside perfectly! We loved the warehouse and courtyard feel. SUCH A GREAT PRICE FOR A WEDDING VENUE!

    Bruce was so great! He normally was quick to respond to my questions leading up to the wedding and was always straight to the point. There were a few things that he failed to mention but very flexible in correcting them and flexible in the details and deadlines. I liked that they had weekly open houses so we could come in to look at the venue anytime throughout the planning. It truly is a great space!

    This is very much a diy wedding venue. You kinda need to know what you want, and I did so it worked out great. We had barbecue at the wedding and it was GREAT! My favorite thing though was that we could have the ceremony and the reception all in one big space. This made it comfortable and easy for all the guests.

    My husband and I looked all over for a venue but when we saw Lofty Spaces we knew it was the one right away. We loved the openness and feel of the place. The price, contract, and flexibility around decorations, catering, and other services was also a plus. This is truly your DIY venue.

    We had a lot of trouble, however, getting a straight answer from Bruce and his team about anything regarding the day of the event. The answer to almost every question was: "come to the open house on Wednesday nights." The problem with that was that we lived in Austin and couldn't drive down during the weekday to discuss design, etc. Bruce always accommodated us in the end (we scheduled times to meet on weekends).

    If you are a bride who wants help, direction, or input on design or decoration--this is NOT the place for you. I later found out that this venue is run by a bunch of guys who couldn't care less about the details of the event. Their motto was "tell us what you want and well set it up." There is no sit down meetings to go over the day of details or reminders about payments or any kind of one-on-one personalization whatsoever. The responsibility was on us as the client. Bruce and his team always seemed really busy and we had to introduce ourselves to them over and over throughout the months leading up to the wedding--they weren't organized enough to remember if we had already booked with them or not. For my bridal photo shoot (two free hours with the rental price) Bruce double booked the venue and I was stuck to have to find another location. Bruce didn't even apologize or try to make up for it. Luckily my amazing photographer saved the day (check her out--a sea of love photography).

    In the end--everything turned out ok and the wedding was perfect. La'Dell--the onsite manager during the wedding was AWESOME! He helped us out above and beyond. Highly recommend you collaborate with him early in the process.

    I recommend Lofty Spaces--but it's NOT your typical venue.

    Rude and disrespectful

    I was part of a staff that had a event there on February 20, 2022 spoke with Tony several times about the lights, that kept going off during the event and we had to stop the show several times. A few times more than 30 minutes, before the lights were restored. We spoke with him about the event being double booked for the event coordinator we were scheduled to start setting up at three but could not because the last case was still getting There things out at 3 o’clock also right towards the end of our show Toni went to the breaker box and cut the lights off now this was after maybe five times that the lights went off and healed or show up. I personally asked him to call his brother because he did say it’s not him(Tony) it’s his brother(owner) he looked to be intoxicated or high at the time that he did all of this. I would not recommend anyone to come to this being you again

    Owner was very unprofessional!

    Most people have a good experience,but mine has turned me off from anything associated with this owner. At first meet he was really nice and answered all of our questions. We was ready to book and set a meeting the next week to book and pay deposit. The next week we confirmed the meeting and he agreed to the meeting. Not only did he not show up, but he did not even bother to have someone there to meet us. We got lucky that someone was there with another couple and decided to stay and help us even though they had no idea that we was coming. We was still unable to pay because he had the contracts and our information, and no one was able to reach him. The next week we finally got a hold of him only to hear that he had just now looked on the calendar and seen that our date was not available like he said. Two weeks and he never thought to reach out to us or check his calendar. The was defiantly the worse experience and customer service.

    Very unprofessional!

    *WARNING* DO NOT/ I repeat DO NOT rent this building for any event. Bruce (owner), Tony (brother), and Tony wife (bartender) is VERY unprofessional and RUDE. They charge you for different services & provided none of them. We couldn’t get in the building on time. My daughter paid for Security. There was no security. Also, they stole our Alcohol, & the building was HOT. We tried writing a professional letter telling the owner what happened & his reply letter was so UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE!! —-DO NOT RENT THIS BUILDING!!

    Bad reception

    DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE. The venue was VERY hot during my reception. When asked about AC my matron of honor was yelled at. We paid for a bartender that was rude to my family and guest, we brought liquor that went unaccounted for; paid for a bar back that never showed and when this was later brought up to the owner he admitted this but stated his brother “helped out”. Security was paid for which no one ever saw but of course when I mention it to the owner he stated that there was security. The person attending the building Tony was very rude to my team and the building was not ready when it should have been for us to enter to decorate, my grandmother had to ask for a broom to sweep the floor because the venue was not cleaned from the previous party. Please think twice about renting this place because everything you think can go wrong will; & when I tried to reach out to the owner about these things all I got was rebuttals trying to justify his staffs behavior.

    If you want a blank space to come and fill with whatever dream you have for your wedding day and you're ready to do all the work and pay for every possible additional charge, this is the place for you. Aside from little to no communication with the owner, the in-house caterer claimed he didn't know about the wedding until the day before and provided poor food for 300 people with the help of one other person, and complained that he had to do it. From lights to chairs, you don't know what they'll have available until the day of because they are operating for 2 separate venues. Granted, the owner is running multiple companies and is very busy and Lofty Spaces doesn't appear to be his top priority. When it came to my wedding day, I hoped to have someone that was available to answer questions, remember my wedding date, and confirm catering and reservations WAY before the WEEK OF the wedding. It was unnecessary stress. The day of, everything worked out and it was a beautiful day (minus the sound of 18-wheelers unloading in the middle of our ceremony), thanks to the many hands who volunteered to help us and NOT including the staff at Lofty Spaces. The SPACE itself was great, but if you choose Lofty Spaces, be prepared for frustrating and disappointing communication and lots of hidden charges.

    The owner of this space is a complete jerk and the communication and process of getting anything set up is a hustle. It is a shame, because the space itself could be a great venue - especially if the owner got out of the way and let his events guy run it. Be prepared for broken promises, ownership that has no idea how to run a venue and and getting nickel and dimed every step of the way. What seems like a great deal at first, turns out to be a complete headache and much more costly than you are told. It was like working with a bad used car salesman 24-7. Gross. Stay away.
