AMAZING! Best decision we made was hiring Maddie and Tyler!
WE LOVE MADDIE AND TYLER! Maddie did our proposal/engagement photos and then we hired her again for our wedding. We have always been SO impressed with her work. This was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. 100% worth the investment. She made us feel so comfortable and did great with our dogs as well.
Not only did our photos turn out amazing but she was more helpful than our wedding coordinator when it came to our timeline. She met with us and even recommended that we reduce the amount of hours we had in our contract the day of our wedding because it wouldn’t be needed. So she saved us money and she was absolutely right that we didn’t need as many hours.
Love our photos and video! I would recommend them to anyone!! -

Maddie and her awesome husband shot our wedding recently, and we could not recommend their talent and their work enough! First of all, Maddie is the most down to earth, chillest, make you feel at ease kind of person I’ve ever met. She worked so well with our families and friends, and she made us all feel so comfortable. And beyond all of the wonderful things I could say about them as human beings, they have delivered breathtaking photos to us that captured some of the greatest moments of the best day of our lives! -

Amazing Experience!

I do not have enough words to describe Maddie and the service she offers. We not only got breathtaking photos that will be cherished forever but we also felt so supported throughout the whole process and truly enjoyed every second working with her. She helped us with locations on where to take both our engagement and wedding photos & the timing of our wedding day. 10/10 recommend her! -

Maddie is so sweet and genuine, a complete pleasure to work with. Her awesome personality made us feel at ease. She captured our engagement in NC, and because of covid - our elopement on the beach in Florida and our bigger wedding celebration in NC. Each time, we got our full albums in a super timely manner. We loved all of our photos. Her style is amazing, capturing real beautiful moments. Thank you Maddie, Tyler and Sarah! -

Incredible experience from day 1!!
My now husband and I decided to elope in Asheville, and one of the very best decisions we made for the day was to hire Maddie and Tyler for our photos and video. Leading up to the day, Maddie was super responsive and easy to communicate with. On the day of, they were on time and came with the most wonderful uplifting attitudes. With us eloping, they were two of six people there and took so many steps to make us feel special and comfortable. They had so many great ideas for shots but were super open to hearing our ideas and then running with them. They are SO FUN to be around! The photos and video themselves are just breathtaking. From start to finish, Maddie and Tyler were incredible and there was not one bump in the road. We can’t recommend them enough!! -

Wonderful from start to finish!
Maddie is a wonderful photographer. We hired her to photograph our wedding and she also did our engagement pictures! She does amazing work with a quick turnaround time. She is friendly and professional. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about her or our experience with working with her. We would highly recommend her! -

She not only takes GREAT pictures but is a GREAT videographer. Since I'm a video editor, I wanted to edit my own wedding video and she was more then happy to work with me on a package that fit my needs. We were pretty naive to the elopement process and had never been to North Carolina, but Maddie made it easy and seamless and gave great recommendations too. She captured beautiful shots and I'm so thankful we chose her to be our photographer. (Also, I'm pretty sure she traveled over an hour for our sunrise Wiseman's View weddig).

She’s phenomenal! An amazing photographer and person!
Maddie is a true artist. She knew exactly what to capture on our special day and did it perfectly!
I wanted a sunset photo shoot for my wedding pictures and oh boy did I get them, she did not disappoint! I cried tears of joy looking at all our photos, they’re so incredible and have that sunset glow I wanted! Not only did she take fantastic photos, she made my husband and I feel comfortable, relaxed and helped us pose so we didn’t look awkward which was a big help for my husband lol! I wish I lived closer to her so I can use her skills for all my special events! If you’re in the Asheville area do yourself a favor and book Maddie Kay Photogrpahy!!

Maddie is the absolute best!! We got married on Sep. 4 at the Lake Lure Inn and she was such a calming and kind presence during the entire wedding. She made me feel at ease even though I typically feel really awkward with photos. And they turned out AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone. -

Captured every moment perfectly!

To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to planning a wedding. But, I did know that the photographer is one of the most absolute important things. That person to capture those moments, so when you forget a detail, even for just a second - they bring you back. When I first reached out to Maddie, I told her I believed in magic, that’s it all around us. She said she did too and I knew I was making the right choice. The thing is though, Maddie CREATES that magic. You hope and pray for your pictures to be as beautiful as you envision them, and she does so much more than that. We’ve had three sessions with Maddie, and each one was perfect. To also mention her personality, she’s so beautiful, genuinely kind and patient. Hiring Maddie Kay was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She made the whole process so easy and comfortable that you completely forgot you were having professional photos taken. She didn’t miss a single moment of the wedding but at the same time we would completely forget she was there. And she would casually orchestrate amazing moments and memories that we hadn’t even thought about. All of our family and friends were so impressed with how efficiently she got us through all the group photos and how hard she worked the whole night! The pictures turned out so so so amazing. Maddie was such a joy to work with, super sweet, and helpful. Wedding day was the first time we met and we all felt
very comfortable around her. My pictures came out gorgeous and her turn around time was incredibly fast! About a month before the wedding I asked if she could also do a maternity shoot for my sister, which I got her as a gift, and she was able to accommodate that with no problem at all. It was a long day for her and she worked it like a champ and true professional. I would recommend checking out her Instagram as well, I love watching her stories in her farm with her animals-ADORABLE! -
