Marisa and her team are absolutely amazing! My wife and I hired them for our wedding in Long Beach on 7/15/2016. Leading up to the event, the whole Marisa Nicole team was extremely helpful, very creative, and and thorough with all the large and small details of our wedding. Everything on our big day went perfectly and smoothly, which we know is due to the thoughtfulness and attention to detail of our coordinator team. Several of our other vendors told us how much they appreciated working with our coordinator too. I highly recommend Marisa Nicole Events for anyone looking for a wedding coordinator.

I cannot say enough great things about Marisa Nicole Events! Marisa and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. They made what is typically a very stressful process into an enjoyable and fun one. Marisa was incredibly professional, organized, and so much fun to work with along the way. Our venue was a bit of a difficult venue to manage as it was a state park and Marisa and her team were on top of every little logistic and went above and beyond to execute a perfect wedding. She made sure all of our wedding wishes were heard and that everything came to life as we envisioned. We would highly recommend Marisa and her team to anyone starting to plan a wedding - working with their team was one of the best decisions we made. They are the total dream team!

If you are planning a wedding in Southern California, Marisa Nicole events is the wedding planner you have been dreaming of. She gets to know you as a couple and as individuals first and foremost and uses that foundation as the basis of all your planning wants and needs. She keeps the mood light and fun and yet always remains professional. She is an expert at her craft and does all the tedious work for you so you and your fiance can just focus on the fun and excitement of being engaged and planning a wedding. She even has different packages and levels of service so you can hire her for just what you need while still remaining in budget. Also, anyone who uses they word "foxy" to describe anything is top notch in my book. You will not regret hiring Marisa!!

From the day we met Marisa, we knew that our wedding was in great hands. She was so organized, attentive to detail, and supportive.

We probably drove Marisa crazy as she tried to keep us on time with planning steps, but she was always so receptive to our ideas and encouraging of us to make it our own.

It's probably said a lot, but without Marisa and her team, our wedding wouldn't have been so amazingly beautiful (if it would have happened at all!).

She helped us find comfort in vendors by sharing with us several reliable options with whom she had worked previously. We appreciated her unique design style and ability to draw out of us a theme/style/design that was true to "us."

Day of, we were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that every detail, big and small, had been cared for by Marisa and her team. The moment we finally saw our venue, walking in to smiling faces and a beautiful setting, we knew that we would be forever grateful for such an amazing memory.

For anyone unsure if a wedding planner is the way to go, take it from us: you will never regret it. Especially if you choose Marisa Nicole Events.

We really liked Marisa and her team, and our wedding turned out great because of their planning. As other reviewers have said, Marisa is very enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and very organized - all the qualities you want in your planner. Also, she's simply a great person, and it was fun working with her. We appreciated that she offers a la carte services, which makes her more flexible in fitting someone's budget. She also has most of her documents online, which was convenient for us because it made making changes and collaborating much easier. She's obviously an experienced planner, and really helped us out when dealing with vendors, and pointing out things we never thought about. We definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding coordinator.

Marisa and her all-star team were an absolute dream to work with. All throughout the wedding process, Marisa was responsive and helpful with any of my needs, always ready with good advice and wisdom from her many years in the industry. And leading up to the wedding weekend, she and her 2 team members made sure that they knew every detail we had planned and took over every aspect of the day so that I could enjoy my wedding. They even came to the rescue with a trusty Tide pen when I spilled on my dress right before the grand entrance! I can't thank them enough, and am so so happy with how my event turned out. Marisa Nicole Events is truly exceptional!

Marisa is the best! She loves what she does and really cares about her clients. She is so organized and informative and she has a lot of great ideas! She helped our winter wonderland wedding come to life, she is always on top of everything which made wedding planning fun and stress free! We love Marisa, if we could get married all over again she would definitely be number one on our vendor list!

We happened to find Marisa on a wedding website by pure luck - and thank goodness we did! She worked with us for over a year and a half to make our wedding day AMAZING! Marisa was amazing to work with! She was familiar with our venue, she helped us find vendors that worked with our budget, she was more than willing to attend any vendor meeting we needed, and she was never too busy to answer questions (no matter how random!). We were content doing many details on our own as long as we had someone to tell us what needed to be done and when it needed to be done by. She gave us an amazing timeline to work with and followed up with us regularly to make sure we were on track. We were pretty clueless about most things wedding related but she helped us along, giving us lots of options to work with! She was more than happy to attend my final dress fitting a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. On our wedding day, she made sure we didn't worry about a thing. Everything came together so smoothly, I don't know what we would have done without her. She was always moving, making sure things were getting taken care of so that we didn't have to think about anything but having an amazing time (which we did). When picture taking during cocktail our took a little longer than expected, she made sure a plate of hors d'oeuvres were brought to us so we didn't miss out! It gave us a moment to relax before the reception started. She checked in with us (AND our parents) throughout the night to make sure everyone was happy and getting what they needed. We can't say enough about how wonderful Marisa is! She was super nice and a true joy to be around, almost feels like we lost a close friend upon our journey coming to an end.
Thank you Marisa (and crew) for helping to make our wedding day more amazing than we could have ever imagined!!!

One year after our wedding, we are still talking about how awesome it was to work with Marisa and her team at Marisa Nicole Events.

Marisa was the second event planner I met with, and I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her. She was authentic, fun, and easy to talk to. I could tell that she would respect our taste and budget 100%, give us ideas we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and act with total professionalism.

Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, she was was consistently available to work with me, communicate and negotiate with vendors, and make multiple site visits. And on the day of our wedding, she and her assistants were phenomenal. So many of our guests commented on the small touches that added to the joy of the day and were things that Marisa had suggested we do. We didn't have to worry about anything except having fun with family and friends -- it was really a low stress, high joy day.

When we started planning our wedding, a wedding planner wasn't on our radar; we thought we could handle it ourselves. We now say that finding Marisa and asking her to help us was some of the best money we spent. I will happily recommend Marisa to anyone else looking for a wedding or event planner.

Marisa was truly extraordinary and I still get comments to this day, with people asking for her information. She was extremely communicative and organized and was able and willing to work within any and all parameters. For someone as Type A as I am, that was a must! Our wedding day was perfect, and if, unbeknownst to me, it wasn't, I certainly never found out about it and it never disrupted a moment of my perfect day! I couldn't recommend her enough!

On my wedding day I had approximately 230 guests. Knowing that Marissa and her team were working with all of my vendors to pull off a flawless event really allowed me to relax and enjoy time with my family and bridesmaids. Then, during the reception she kept me on schedule and fully took care of any problems that occurred. Best of all, she always had a good attitude and was easy to work with. Marissa and her team are simply the best and I highly recommend them for any event, big or small.

How do people have weddings without a wedding coordinator? Having Marisa was an incredible experience. She managed to herd our families and took on all the little problems that occur at every wedding. You know how everyone says the day goes so fast? My husband and I were able to relax to the point where it felt like we could enjoy our wedding, and that there was plenty of time for everything. We stayed on schedule, but never felt rushed. I found Marisa’s information on Knot.com. All the previous comments were are positive. After I sent her an email I could see in her email that she was very nice, positive and not money oriented. She helped me plan my wedding from the first day. Initially I wanted to plan my wedding in 3 months and we wanted to have an outdoor wedding in Palm Springs. She made appointments with different venues, got directions and spent the whole day looking around with us. She was always so positive and encouraging me, telling me that it was possible. My fiancé and I decided to give ourselves more time and have the wedding in a venue in LA later in summer. She again helped me so much with finding a venue and spent hours and hours on the phone contacting each one of them to get a full description of their services. She introduced me to great vendors that fit my budget and her recommendations were always helpful. She planned my wedding so well that I really can’t say enough about her and how professional she is. She makes sure she contacts you weekly either by phone or email or in person and has so many great resources for couples who have no idea about how to budget a wedding and how to save money. I recommend her to everyone, with any culture or background because she can do it and she does a great job.

Marisa Nicole is the very best decision I could have possibly made for my wedding! From the beginning to the end, Marisa was there as an advisor, a counselor, a confidante, and a friend. She has the incredible talent of taking your ideas, your vision, your wishes and dreams and bringing it all together into the magical event your wedding should be! Whether you know exactly what you want or you have no idea where to begin, Marisa can guide you through the big, stressful decisions and remember to catch the tiniest of details. She is positive, attentive, reachable, detail-oriented, and has an incredible knack for making you feel like you are the most important client she has ever worked with (and you think in the back of your mind, "My goodness - I know she is working simultaneously with other brides. Could they possibly all feel as special and important as Marisa makes me feel!?!") But that is her gift! I was planning my Los Angeles wedding from Texas, had an invite list of over 400 people, and was trying to meld my Swiss/Scotts-Irish family with my fiance's Lebanese family and making sure aspects iof both cultures were featured throughout the day - and through it all, Marisa was there to keep me calm, help me to remember to take joy in planning the wedding, and always re-newing my excitement every time I spoke with her. The day of the wedding there might have been some snafus....but I never heard about them! My family and I didn't have to worry about a thing - Marisa and her team were there to take care of everything. Her detailed "Day-Of" timeline ensured that everyone knew exactly where to be and when and everything moved like clockwork. She was in touch with all my vendors and with everyone on the same page, my wedding was like a perfectly choreographed and executed production which has left several of my guests writing thank you notes TO ME thanking me and my husband for throwing such a wonderful party! Marisa Nicole is absolutely worth it - she was the muscle and the mastermind behind a truly amazing wedding.

DREAM TEAM for out-of-state wedding!!!

To start, Marisa was a FABULOUS planner to work with. From our initial consult, it wasn't hard to decide to go with her as our planner. She has incredible expertise and was very straightforward with us in terms of what to expect from her, as well as other vendors. We were living in Texas at the time and planning a wedding in Laguna Beach, CA, and we felt considerably at ease knowing that Marisa had our backs and was handling all the nitty gritty details (thank goodness!). She was very responsive to our emails or phone calls and we felt like we were always in the loop (which is not always the case- long story short we were planning a second ceremony internationally and those planners were not responsive or communicative).

Personally, Marisa and her team were a joy to work with! Marisa is a force of nature and will fight for you to get the best deal. She is incredibly organized and on top of it - AND she made you feel like you were the only couple she was working with. She will also be open and honest with you regarding what the best course of action is. On the day of, we were behind schedule and she was incredible in shepherding the wedding party and vendors. We received so many glowing compliments from our guests about Marisa and her team. We left this experience tremendously happy and had the wedding we dreamed of, and a friend in Marisa. Trust us, you will not find another wedding planner as AWESOME as Marisa!
