  Wedding Ceremony Pianist

  From our very first meeting Marye was ready to help us ensure our ceremony + music felt personal to us. Through a couple zoom meetings Marye was able to create her own version of a blink 182 song on the piano we had envisioned for our processional. Our ceremony music was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We are so grateful for Marye's calm demeanor and professionalism throughout our hectic day. Thank you so much Marye!

  Thanks so much for the wonderful music during our wedding day. We very much enjoyed it, and so did our family! You were all so fantastic, through the planning and re-planning and twist and turns of our big day. You helped keep things seamless up to and including the day of and we truly can't thank you enough.We loved your jazz-y sound when we first found your band during our search and checked your song lists, we knew you were our choice before we even talked. You were so accommodating, flexible, professional, and SO talented. We loved that you played songs we requested specifically, that had significance for us, that made our day all the more special and US. TYSM!!

  Marye was amazing.
  
  So every year, I hold this outdoor Autumn party. There are globe lights, hot foods, a campfire, etc. For the past few years we've also added live entertainment. This year we hired Marye using GigTown. She was the perfect addition to the evening: guitar and ukulele music, some covers, some new, and some in English and some in Spanish. It added an energetic and festive mood and made the night really special for our guests.

  Marye was amazing.

  Marye vino a Chile desde Nueva York a nuestra boda para cantar canciones que elegimos en conjunto con mi pareja. Dos en español y una de su creación en inglés. Realizó una impecable presentación junto a su ukelele. Fue capaz de interpretar, en un perfecto español, las canciones que escogimos. Además pudo impresionar a los invitados con su hermosa voz. Supo respetar y adaptarse a los tiempos de presentación, mostrando compromiso y preocupación en todo momento.   I can not recommended Marye and her band enough.
  
  Marye and her band performed at our wedding reception in NYC. She was extremely willing to learn new songs based on our needs and was able to accommodate all of our requests. Marye is lovely to work with as she is very flexible, responsive and made sure every detail was discussed and in-order. She is extremely reliable and I would recommend her to anyone for a wedding.

  We asked Marye Lobb to perform at our son's Eagle Scout Court of Honor, an event recognizing that a Boy Scout has reached Scouting's highest rank. Friends and relatives are invited as well as Scouts and their parents -- truly a community event. Depending on the Scout's age, it is something of a graduation from Scouting.
  
  We planned to have the hymn "On Eagle's Wings" to end the ceremony on an emotional and spiritual high note. It is one of the most popular contemporary Christian songs, but it is challenging for the wide range of notes in its verses. Marye Lobb sang it from memory in her clear, pure voice, employing her excellent vocal range to good effect. Marye's performance was thoroughly professional but also warm and affecting. People listened with rapt attention.
  
  Including a hymn in an Eagle ceremony is a little unusual, but we heard many favorable comments about Marye's performance afterwards. Her cheerful and enthusiastic personality endeared her to many people she had never met before. Hers was a moving and memorable performance.

  Marye and her band were great. She was extremely responsive, genuine and kind. She made our guests feel at home, and even incorporate unexpected requests when possible. They rolled with changes and were positive and friendly. They have a great sound, and we got so many compliments about them! Highly highly highly recommended for any wedding or event.

  The Marye Lobb Brazilian Jazz Band performed at my birthday party and I was blown away. Marye's singing is beautiful. She is very talented. The band was elegant and tasteful yet had an upbeat world flair. This band is perfect for a cocktail hour but at my party it got people up dancing, talking, moving around and feeling good. It added an exciting twist to my birthday and I am so happy that the Brazilian Jazz Band was a part of the night. I highly recommend them. Marye was also a delight to correspond with. She answered all emails efficiently and I always felt comfortable asking her questions because she was so friendly and kind. She made booking a breeze.

  It was such a beautiful addition to have Mary play at our wedding. Her soft, gentle and at the same time bright, lively music created an amazing atmosphere where people could relax and enjoy themselves. She wrote a special song just for the wedding. Her song choice and exquisite performance were perfect. I am so glad she was a part of our day.

  Marye performed at our wedding. Her performance was full of love and happiness. We had multiple compliments from guests about her performance. She was also very accommodating to the location which required travel and an outdoor performance. We would recommend her to anyone thinking about having a musician perform at their wedding.

  Hiring Mary Lobb to provide the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour was one of the best and most important decisions we made for our wedding day. She is so very talented, and you can't help but feel totally at ease by the sound of her beautiful singing voice. We knew we wanted a singer/song writer type to take us down the aisle and back, but we had no idea what style of singer/song writer we wanted. It wasn't something we had ever thought about before. But as soon as we heard a sample of Mary's work we KNEW she was the one. She was so patient with us, and our back and forth, back and forth, trying to decide on a song. Seriously she could not have possibly been kinder and more professional throughout the process. In the end we chose "you are my sunshine" to be the song, but because it's so short and lacking in verses she learned the entire thing in portuguese to add a little flare and make it seem longer. It was so beautiful and completely brilliant. All of our guests kept asking, "where did you find her?!?!? she's incredible." We would highly recommend Mary Lobb to anyone looking for an intimate and meaningful experience on their wedding day. She will blow you away!
