  Matt did an amazing job for our ceremony, reception and the dancing portion of our wedding! From our very first conversations we were sure we would have a great time with him taking care of the music, and he did not disappoint! In fact, he exceeded expectations!! Matt took the time to get to know us and fully understand what we were looking for and then catered perfectly to our taste! Every step of the way communication and organization with him was super easy and his responses were fast! Although we had a little mishap with our cake that forced us to re-arrange our schedule during reception, which affected the timeline we had planned for music, Matt rolled with the punches and seamlessly adapted to the situation and communicated with the other vendors without the need to interrupt us during our special day! Matt was timely, kind and well dressed and it is obvious to us that he takes his craft seriously and is a seasoned professional. Music selection was perfect, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor!! Could not have asked for a better DJ We 1000% recommend him, and absolutely appreciated all of his hard work and dedication Thank you Matt!

  DJ Mattrix is the BEST! I found him by searching my venues Instagram but it was fate… I could not have asked for a better DJ. He kept the wedding dancing the whole time! I’ve already had multiple guests reach out to me for his info because of how amazing he did. Hire this man!

  Summer jam wedding theme

  Matt was absolutely the best! He showed up early to ensure our needs were met. His music kept the family on the dance floor the entire night and his professionalism was fantastic. He followed the music genre we requested and kept the dance floor live the entire night. I would absolutely recommend his services for any event you’re planning now and in the future.

  Highly Recommend!

  We hired Mattrix Music and Entertainment for both their DJ and Photobooth services for our recent wedding and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Prior to the wedding, Matt was very prompt to answer all of our questions. As the wedding day approached, he worked with us to finalize the last few details and even provided some helpful feedback for some of our song choices. On the day of, he was professional, friendly, and flexible as things got a little off schedule. We provided a few songs that we wanted to play, but otherwise, just provided a general direction that he fully delivered on. He kept the party going throughout the night. As far as the price was concerned, he was very competitive to others that we quoted.

  great wedding DJ

  Matt was awesome and I highly recommend him as your next event DJs. He came out to lake geneva and kept the party going all night. He was also great at communicating and responded to every email almost right away. He was great to have and we had so much.

  DJ Mattrix kept the party going all night! My sole goal was to never have an empty dancefloor and DJ Mattrix far surpassed that goal! We are so thrilled that we found DJ Mattrix and that he was available for our wedding day. He was so fun and easy to work with and knew exactly what we wanted. Everything was seamless and I would definitely recommend any bride to consider DJ Mattrix if you want to party at your wedding! We also hired the photobooth and it was a big hit and everyone enjoyed taking pictures. It was easy to use and all of our guests enjoyed this as a keepsake. We are so glad we hired DJ Mattrix and Entertainment!

  I had a last minute booking; (I sent a message on Saturday for a party on Monday); and he responded so quickly! Really, he is super to work with. He had great music and knew when to switch it up. Definitely knew how to read our guests; we all had a great time. Will definitely use again!

  Matt is great DJ in every sense of the word!!!

  Matt was the DJ at our wedding and was truly a joy to work with. We had a lot of vendors that we were really pleased with, but Matt was near the very top of that list. He was proactive and extremely easy to communicate with during the planning process, and very receptive to the ideas we had for the type of music that we wanted to hear. It can be a tricky balance of giving your DJ the flexibility to do what they do best while also providing input of what you and your guests will enjoy, but Matt made that process super easy and did an awesome job of playing songs we loved that kept the dance floor popping all night long. We also had a tricky venue setup with 3 total locations that we needed music for and Matt handled that seamlessly. He was priced reasonably, and it was an honor to us that we were able to support his Black owned business.

  All the Vibes!

  My husband and I are so glad we hired Mattrix Music for our wedding! MattJ was easy to work with and made the process smooth from start to finish. DJ Dutchess was absolutely amazing!! She understood our vibe and really created a fun atmosphere for our guests. We had a great time thanks to her ability to read the room and play music that got our guests on the dance floor. Hands down one of the best celebrations we've had. We can't wait to work with them when we host parties in the future. Also not to mention it's a black-owned business, which is very important to us. If you are looking for a great music / entertainment company, this is the one!

  DJ Matt was absolutely wonderful! He did an amazing job as a DJ. Very professional! He had to deal with alot of last minute changes and requests and he was great! Provided music for my wedding and reception at two different locations not providing alot of setup time in between. He did great! Couldn't have gotten anyone better! ❤
