I'm sorry for bringing negativity after a beautiful weeks worth of meeting new friends, going on great excursions and just enjoying the tropical life, we all admire. But the matter at hand would be the wedding planner, I seriously cant think of anyone actually hiring such a lazy, unprofessional, scam artist. (1) Stained table cloths on dinner tables (black stains on white cloths). (2) Set up wrong times for excursion, which ending up costing us extra. (3) Décor was weak, effortless and pathetic, but the guest stepped up and solved those issues. (4) Bartender that was paid $28/hr, came dressed sloppy, ungroomed and unknowledgeable of any of the basics and sanitary policies that should be used when servicing an event. Many guest complained of him scooping ice with his hands, using the ice for their cocktails, that was in the beer and wine chest. (There was plenty of bags of ice in the freezer). Guest also saw him re-use glasses without them being washed. Had the nerve to put a tip jar out! (4) The coconut greeter. We had to find our own greeter to pass out coconuts, pre-ceremony, first she said no problem, then after the deposit was given to her, it was I don't think I can. Ended up finding a guy on my own. (5) She gave us 2 choices of bakers for the cake. She said she only works with 2 bakers. Well the quotes were around $800 for a 40 person cake, 3 tiers, 1 color with edible seashells. Oh, plus extra for shells cause they don't make them. Okay, I have never been called a sucker before but things were getting ridiculous! It wasn't even that expensive in California. I checked. We had to start checking everything after a couple of months, she is a very dishonest person. The cake we ended up getting, made by a Costa Rican, that arrived on time, and was absolutely perfect. (6) She left before reception was done and vendors, parents and guests had to close down the reception. She didn't even finish what she was paid for. We paid over $2000 for her but only worth $500.
