  Wedding Violin Duo

  We hired Emily and Zach to play for our small, September 2020, wedding held in a rental mansion. They played for the prelude, ceremony and happy hour. They were an absolute delight to work with and did a beautiful job of making our ceremony as elegant as we were dreaming it would be. Emily was easy to plan with and gave me excellent advice on making the right music selection and smooth transitions. We highly recommend them for your wedding, you will be so happy you did! Thank you both for making our wedding so perfect!

  Best of the best!

  Recently my finance and I were attempting to acquire Metropolitan Chamber Strings for our upcoming wedding event with Emily aiding us in the coordination of our plans. She was so attentive, kind, and professional and made planning a breeze! If you're looking for friendly customer-service and a talented group of musicians to work with, this is your group! We had a shift in plans last minute and didn't end of closing off on the contract, but had that not occurred, we'd definitely have given them our business.

  Jeff and his team of musicians were top notch. They worked with us to make our wedding ceremony truly memorable. We planned our wedding from a distance, and their organization and communication made it easy for us to plan our ceremony and cocktail hour with them. They traveled over 2 hours to our ceremony site, and were able to learn a new song to be played along with our vocalist (who was also from out of state). They made sure to accommodate this by coming early to rehearse before the ceremony with her. It is evident that this group is dedicated to what they do. Overall very satisfied, and would recommend them to anyone for any occasion. They were a real hit, and were able to play anything from classical works to modern pop!

  Great experience!

  We used metropolitan chamber strings for our wedding in August 2018 and they were fabulous! Jeff was totally on top of things and we easily picked the songs we wanted for our ceremony (a mix of classical and contemporary) and he took it from there. They were one of my easiest wedding vendors by far and knew the drill and took care of themselves. I actually didn’t even talk to them the day of! They looked very professional and we got lots of compliments on them. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

  As event planners we are always excited when we meet a vendor that exceeds our expectations. Carol and Carson played beautifully at a wedding we helped organize this winter (2017).   Jeff helped us from the start and was amazing to work with! MCS was able to learn 2 new songs for our special day and they played it BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! So happy with them!!! Made our ceremony so memorable! Very fun to work with! We absolutely recommend them!

  I am a day-of wedding coordinator and worked with a quartet led by Jeff E. recently. In advance of the wedding, he was very responsive to emails and easy to reach. He was attentive to detail and a clear communicator. The quartet was willing to accompany soloists from the family for a song during the ceremony and arrived early to the ceremony to practice with them. They were professionally dressed, arrived on time, were very kind and easy to work with, fully prepared and self-sufficient. The quartet played beautifully together and the music really added to the elegant, special feeling of the ceremony.
  
  I will be recommending the quartet to clients in the future!

  We received so many compliments from our guests about how it just made the ceremony that much more magical! I loved the music and they did a wonderful job both on the day of our wedding and being so organized leading up to the day.

  Jeff & the Metropolitan Chamber Strings team were wonderful to work with! As an Event Planner it is amazing to find vendors who are super responsive and a great value to my customers and these guys were it!   Outstanding music played at our wedding ceremony. Willing to accommodate special requests, and quality was exceptional. As a classically trained violinist who has also played at weddings myself, I definitely had high standards for the musicians at my own wedding, and my bride and I were not disappointed.

  I contacted Metropolitan Chamber Strings because I knew I wanted professional, classical musicians playing at our wedding and had specific songs in mind. Jeff immediately secured me a cellist and a violinist and worked with me to make sure we had everything - proper sound equipment and any sheet music for special songs we wanted in our ceremony. He also coordinated with friends of ours who were playing guitar and singing for one of the songs so that everything went smoothly the day of. I plan to book through him again for future events!

  My husband and I had a wonderful experience with MCS By Request. To me, the music was an important part of our very special day. We were guided through the whole process and given good advice for pieces played throughout the whole ceremony. The musicians exceeded our expectations and the cost was very fair. They were so quick to respond, willing to help plan, and answer any questions we had. Honestly it was the easiest vendor I dealt with the entire wedding planning process! The songs when I was walking down the aisle and the post-cessional music I heard was so romantic! This violin and cello music added an extra sense fanciness to our whole wedding.
