    If you are wondering if you need a wedding planner, book MH events!

    We had an initial consultation with Morgan, the owner, but ended up working with Amy. Amy was fantastic. She knew our venue inside and out and was able to provide recommendations based on the space. Amy was always responsive and coordinated our wedding to perfection! We had a snafu the week of the wedding when our welcome sign and seating chart weren't as large as we had anticipated. Amy helped me immediately in coming up with a different game plan and change to our rentals. Our reception was set up exactly how we envisioned it. My fiance also built a robot as our ring bearer. Amy was able to help set up and put it away without any guests knowing the surprise. Amy and her colleague helped pack everything up and even made sure we went back to the hotel with some leftovers. Without a doubt we'd recommend Amy to any other couple getting married. Her vivacious personality is contagious and we felt like we were being supported by a dear friend. Thank you for making our day run so smoothly.

    Amazing experience, amazing team!

    Hiring Morgan and her team is the best choice we made for our wedding! She is incredibly fun and personable and made us feel better every time we spoke, texted, or emailed. We never doubted her organization and Annie, one of Morgan’s team, is so helpful for details. Morgan and the MH Events team were our first hire, before picking a date or venue, They helped us to find and hire the best vendor team we could have imagined. When picking a venue, we saw a few locations, but loved the first place we saw with Morgan. It didn’t have any outside space, so she suggested that we use Hoyt Arboretum for the ceremony. Everything was perfect, or if anything went sideways on our wedding day – we didn’t have any idea! They worked tirelessly to give us the wedding of our dreams. Morgan is detail oriented and super fun to be around! We heartily recommend MH Events to other couples!

    Highly Recommended!

    Hiring Morgan as our wedding planner was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! We opted for her full planning package and it was wonderful! We worked with her for over a year building our vision. She helped us select our vendors, communicated/coordinated with all of them and helped us with the design.

    When the day came, it felt like magic! Morgan supported our big wedding dreams, but also provided us with plenty of resources and options when we needed alternative choices. She (or one of her team members) was always available whenever I had a question/concern throughout the process. She’s a pro and so organized! I was able to relax because I knew Morgan and her team were going to take care of us.

    Thank you so much to MH Events for creating such a memorable day for me and my husband!!

    Amazing, magical, proactive wedding planner/therapist

    Morgan & her entire team were absolute magic to work with, so on top of everything, and made our wedding day so much fun for us. Morgan is a great listener, super proactive, keeps things streamlined, and helped me stay focused on the important things during a really busy period of life (we also bought a home and brought home a puppy during our engagement). She is more than a planner--more like a friend and therapist lol. By the time we got to the actual wedding day, she knew my vision and was able to execute even with curveballs like extreme heat. She had seen it all before, we had prepared for it, and she knew exactly what to do to keep guests comfortable and the day moving. They also helped us pull off a lovely rehearsal dinner, beautiful signage, complex shuttle transportation for a destination wedding, and fabulous details like a 30-person chambong toast. Can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much!!!!

    Amazing wedding planner!

    Hiring Morgan and her team was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. She was organized, detailed oriented and assisted all of the planning with my vendors prior to the wedding. On wedding day, she was always there to assist in big and small ways, she was calm when I was stressed, and always had a smile on her face. I would highly recommend MH Events to anyone getting married in Portland or surrounding areas. We love you, Morgan!

    Crème de la Crème

    If you are extremely detail oriented like myself you need to have Morgan be your planner. She was an absolute dream and made sure that every little detail about our mountain vineyard wedding played out on the big day exactly as we had planned. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team and words cannot express how grateful I am for her help in executing my vision. She made the process absolutely seamless in the planning stages, and was always accessible by email and text with quick responses, which made her feel more like a supportive multi-talented super friend than just a wedding planner alone. I still follow her on social media even though my wedding has passed as I just love all the great wedding info she provides. Thank you Morgan and the MH events team sooo sooooo much for everything!

    The hype woman you deserve

    I'm not even sure where to start...Morgan was our glue while planning our dream Oregon wedding from out of state. She was recommended by multiple people, and when we met with her over zoom, my husband actually said she HAD to be our planner before I even could!

    She had worked with several of our vendors before, and we truly felt like we had the dream team. Whenever I needed help finding a category, she would give this over-researcher 3-4 options, which made it so much easier to make decisions. I felt like I could trust everyone even more because Morgan was at the helm and they all told me how lucky we were to have her.

    Not only are Morgan and her team extremely competent, organized, and helpful, but the thing that sticks out most about Morgan is that she is FUN. She pumps life into the most stressful details, she shares incredible tips on her social media, she's goofy and reassuring and wise all at the same time. I also had a lot of tough life stuff happen in the last month before the wedding and she checked in on me like a friend, while taking things I couldn't do off my plate and reminding me that everything would be okay.

    With MH Events, I not only felt like I had a planner, but a hype woman/cheerleader/best friend. That's exactly the type of planner I wanted and everyone deserves, and she was worth every single penny. I can't recommend this team enough, so if Morgan and her crew are available on your wedding date, consider yourself lucky and snag them asap! Whatever your wedding vision, they will execute it and have a damn good time while doing so.

    MH Events = Peace of Mind!!!

    Morgan is a breath of fresh air, truly. If you choose to work with her, she will be like your super organized and fun, knowledgeable and experienced big sister. She will provide emotional support you didn't even realize you would need and her expertise and relationships within the industry are unmatched. Isn't it amazing to think about having a girlfriend in your corner who already has relationships with solid caterers, bakeries, photographers, DJs and décor places? Someone who will always give you options, remind you that you are in charge of your day, but share relevant experience so you have all the info to make informed decisions? That is who Morgan is. She helped me feel empowered and excited - which was a gift I cannot thank her enough for with all the pressure that can surround planning a wedding! You can't put a price on peace of mind.

    If you are reading this and pondering A) if you should hire a wedding planner and B) if MH Events would be the right fit, I have some thoughts for you:

    - Weddings are full of details. There may be some details that are super fun to think about and others (like where signage should go, are porta potties needed, how long of a power chord the DJ will need, who will tell the caterers when to start serving dinner, etc.) that are not so fun, IMHO. Having an amazing wedding planner allows you to go to town on playing with the details you care about, and not stress about other (equally important) ones that don't ring your bells.

    - How do you want to feel leading up to and on your wedding day? Do you want to feel prepared, calm, and supported? Do you want to feel confident that you can have mushy emotional bride brain and things will still run smoothly? Isn't this a day that you want to be able to be in the moment, and have your loved ones also be in the moment versus appointing them to keep things together? (This was my original idea, to appoint a friend or family number to be the “go-to” person, but I realized I wanted them to be able to experience the day, not work the day.) For example, Morgan and her team (not my mom or bestie) can tell the parking attendant how to handle the overflow!

    If you are on a tight budget, just know that MH Events is worth every penny. I would highly recommend shifting money from other vendors to make it possible to work with her if that is the boat you're in. Being able to email/text/reach out as the texts began to roll in with questions from friends and family was beyond what I can even describe in words. If you want an experienced and amazing friend in your corner throughout your wedding planning process (trust me - you do), Morgan is your gal.

    Best decision we made!!!

    Hiring Morgan and her amazing team was THE BEST decision my husband and I made when planning our wedding. From the very first meeting, we felt so comfortable with Morgan, and had every confidence that our wedding would turn out amazing with Morgan by our side. We chose the partial planning package, so we still made a lot of the wedding decisions ourselves, but anything we had not booked or planned yet, Morgan and her team were right there to help with whatever we needed. Morgan's knowledge of all things wedding are endless, and her bubbly personality and energy was very much needed through this very fun but stressful wedding planning process. She is also one of the more organized people I have ever met, and kept us on track from the moment we hired her until the day we said "I do". I cannot recommend MH Events enough! Morgan and her team were able to bring the vision of our wedding to life, and helped make it the most perfect day for us. She makes you feel more like a friend than a client, and has a special way of making a stressed out bride-to-be feel so calm and relaxed after every interaction. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator for your wedding, just have one conversation with Morgan and any hesitation you have will go away. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we owe a huge part of that to Morgan and her amazing team!

    10/10 Highly Recommend MH Events

    We had the best experience working with Morgan and the MH Events team!

    We started planning our wedding a little later than what would have been ideal just due to not knowing exactly how the covid situation would look. It was a huge relief to be able to hop on several calls with Morgan and email back and forth to go over everything that we wanted for our big day. It's really easy to get stressed and overwhelmed while planning a wedding, but talking to Morgan always helped us enjoy the process more and assured us that we were in good hands and that everything would turn out perfectly. She was completely right and our wedding was better than anything we could have imagined.

    Morgan is an expert in coordinating with vendors and knowing exactly what resources are needed to pull off your dream wedding. There were so many details that we could have easily forgotten without her guidance. She has a great reputation in the industry and has good relationships with all vendors in the area, which makes a huge difference in how seamlessly everything is communicated and organized.

    With the help of the MH Events team, we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day and everything was beautiful. We had multiple guests tell us our wedding was their favorite wedding they'd ever been to. Thank you again to MH Events. You all seriously rock!

    Morgan and her team were an absolute dream to work with!! We hired them as partial coordinators to support us in the home-stretch and they truly did take all the stress out of our big day.     The BEST wedding planner out there

    Morgan is THE BEST. She is always one step ahead of everything. She made our wedding the most stress free event to plan. If you want to just show up to your wedding and enjoy the day with full confidence that your vision will be put into reality, then Morgan is the wedding planner for you. She responded to every question and concern quickly and made it so we knew we had nothing to worry about and no detail would be missed. I cannot say enough about how amazing Morgan at MH Events is.     Worth every penny!!

    My only wedding regret is not hiring Morgan sooner. We hired Morgan shortly after booking our wedding venue. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into and we are so glad we had Morgan every step of the way. She was our right hand/bestie/therapist throughout the whole wedding planning process. Morgan handled everything, from fielding guest questions, providing vendor recommendations, finalizing contracts, creating and managing the day of timeline, our photo booth, coordinating our rentals, setting up and cleaning up at the end of the night, she did it all! We could not have pulled off our wedding without Morgan. I know there were little catastrophes throughout the day, but I didn't hear about a single one, because Morgan took care of everything before I ever knew there was a problem. We are so grateful for MH Events and seriously cannot recommend Morgan and her team enough! Aside from her being exceptional at her job she's also just an exceptional human being and it meant a lot to us to have vendors who care about social justice and sustainability issues. Hiring Morgan was the best decision we made hands down, because hiring her influenced every other decision we made in the best possible way. Thank you Morgan for helping us create a day beyond our wildest dreams!!

    Amazing service, personalized to your needs

    First and foremost, Morgan made us feel like wedding planning and coordination was in good hands and under control. Morgan gave out a positive vibe, making the (often stressful) process of wedding planning feel more fun. She was available and responsive when we needed her, and enormously helpful for making sense of timelines and priorities in our decision-making. Morgan also knows a lot of wedding-associated businesses in the Portland area, so she was ready to make choices for us on things we weren't picky about, and gave great recommendations (at a variety of price points) when it came to things we picked ourselves (such as hair & makeup people, alcohol vendors, etc.).

    We cared a lot about COVID-related protocols for our wedding, and Morgan went the extra mile in making sure that our protocols were understood and adhered to (which we unfortunately cannot say of all of our vendors).

    Overall, the cost of hiring Morgan was more than reasonable. She gave us an gave us ease of mind about the whole ordeal, and she put a lot of time and effort into our wedding, which paid off in the end. We are very glad we hired Morgan as our wedding coordinator.

    Our wedding would not have been the same without MH Events

    Morgan and her team were an absolute dream. We couldn't have asked for a better experience through the wedding planning process. She made us feel comfortable, gave us individualized attention, helped us make decisions but also gave us space to be creative, and she was an absolute bright light and positive presence throughout and very stressful wedding season. She was available for every text, every call, every random panic and never made us feel like she didn't have time for us.

    Our wedding was the most incredible day and we owe it all to her. We felt relaxed, happy and like all we had to do was celebrate our love. our families, bridal party and wedding guests cannot stop raving about her either. BY FAR the best invested we made for our wedding. We cannot recommend Morgan and MH events enough, she's the best there is.

    Best Money Spent!

    If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator because of cost, or any other reservation, please let this review serve as your final push to HIRE MH EVENTS. Allocate this cost to your budget at the beginning, you will not be sorry.

    Morgan is the ultimate hype-woman and delivers exactly what she promises: A Wedding Day you can ENJOY without a care in the world. I worked in the event industry for nearly five years, and the MH team has their process DOWN. One of the best parts of this business is the variety of packages they offer: Full or Partial. I enjoy the process of planning, but it was the nitty gritty details of day of timeline and potential vendor hiccups that I did not want to be the go-to person for my own wedding day.

    At first, I thought I just needed a “Day of Coordinator”; my vendors are all booked, I’m organized, I have everything pretty much done, etc etc, etc….Let me tell you, I was wrongggg. As Morgan kindly explained to me, there is no way one person can come in on the day of and execute your day to the standard you are hoping for. She was right, and the partial package was the perfect choice for me.

    I hired MH Events approximately six months before my wedding date. Morgan seamlessly stepped in and became the captain of the ship on its home stretch. She has incredible relationships with countless vendors in the area and knows the ins and outs of how they operate and what to expect--there are no surprises. Additionally, Morgan was able to advocate for me when another vendor quoted me a price via phone call, then quoted me a higher price later when I wanted to move forward (the only record of this quote I had was in my handwritten notes from the call). I could not have been more pleased with how Morgan navigated this hiccup for me. She was professional, quick, and the possibility of what could have become an awkward relationship between me and the vendor was defused without another thought.

    Morgan has an incredible team. Sara was my right-hand woman on the rehearsal and the day of. I could not have been happier. Sara is personable, has a great sense of humor, and honestly felt like another friend at my wedding (who just happened to be working her ass off!).

    My goal for this process was to have it remain fun, and not have my family/friends take on jobs the day of the wedding. I can say this goal was met unequivocally because of Morgan and her team. Because of Morgan, Sara, and the rest of the MH team there was virtually no stress, and my family and friends were able to eat, drink and be merry without having to lift a finger.

    Whether your event is 20 or 200 people, or you have a $10,000 budget or $100,000 budget, MH events is the one necessity.

    Morgan and MH Events are Amazing

    I cannot speak highly enough about our experience working with Morgan and her team at MH Events throughout the wedding planning process. We were warned about the difficulties of planning a destination wedding so we knew finding a great planner was crucial. We were connected to Morgan from a friend who was her former client and it was a perfect match.

    From the beginning she was a great communicator and always responded quickly. She gave us several options for ceremony/reception locations and all of the vendors needed to pull off our wedding. She picked up on our vibe/style quickly and gave us great suggestions that made it difficult for us to choose because they were all great options. She gave us a planning timeline and vendor estimates based on our budget at the start that was very helpful as we planned.

    Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. Our entire team of vendors was fantastic and that's another kudos to Morgan for putting us in touch with all of them. 10/10 would recommend Morgan and MH Events to everyone. Thank you Morgan!

    Delightful

    MH Events did a fabulous job on my wedding. The owner Morgan Harris kept me calm. Her personality is fun and funny, always got a good laugh with her. I loved all my vendors, Morgan and staff were able to answer all there questions. The wedding and reception were delightful and beautiful.

    Wedding Planner Extraordinaire!!

    Morgan and MH Events were amazing! Could not have asked for a better team when planning for a wedding. She was organized, helpful, kind, calm and made our entire wedding day the best day ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for helping us through COVID. Without her we would have probably canceled the wedding entirely, gotten none of our refunds back due to frustration, and we would have been so upset. Couldn’t recommend her more!

    Above & Beyond

    Morgan was simply amazing. She made everything seamless, even during a pandemic, OR being on fire and us changing venue's 24 hours before the wedding. She seriously was so calm, understanding, and on top of every detail to ensure a smooth event. The organization from Morgan, made us stay on track and on our timeline without making it overwhelming. She is seriously the friendliest, and kindest human to work with during such a stressful time. I can't say enough good things!!!

    She’s the best!

    I’ve worked with Morgan and her team a handful of times, and she’s the best! Not only is she incredibly sweet and knowledgeable but she is such a great problem solver and is just always on her game!

    Best Wedding Investment

    Morgan is everything you could want and need in a wedding planner. She is dedicated, kind, organized, supportive, responsive, genuine. I could go on and on with all of the positive qualities she possesses.

    My fiance and I were supposed to get married this August and Morgan has gone above and beyond helping us figure everything out. She navigates the most difficult circumstances with grace. Every time we talk to her, which is a lot, I feel so much more at ease that everything is going to work out. And not just work out, but be just as great and special, even if it's not what we had initially envisioned.

    Morgan, and her coordinating services, are by far the best investment I made for my wedding. Thank you Morgan for being a light during this crazy, unpredictable time.
