  Magical Event!

  Fabulous experience! Our larger planned wedding for our daughter was scaled back, due to covid, to an intimate family celebration at our home on December 30 with approximately 40 guests. Esther Williams, the Catering Manage, went above and beyond to help us recreate the magical event we envisioned. Her support and guidance with menu selections and vendor recommendations was seamless. The food was fantastic, the presentation just beautiful, and the wait staff just second to none. Thank you so much for everything Esther and crew!!

  Delicious!

  Morton’s is a wonderful market and caterer. Esther Williams helped me choose and edit the amount of food as guest count changed. The appetizers for cocktail hour and the buffet for dinner hour were beautifully done and delicious.

  Amazing!!!

  I am so happy we decided to choose Morton's to cater our wedding dinner. We had 25 guests, so I thought it might be considered too small. But Esther was so wonderful to work with, very helpful and responsive and just loves events! And the food!! We had several people say it was hands down the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. It was so delicious family was fighting to get leftovers! We definitely have no regrets, and you won't either!

  Wedding Catering

  Absolutely DELICIOUS food and great staff!
  My daughters wedding was just 2 weeks ago! We are still raving about our entire experience with MORTON'S CATERING. Our guest are still commenting on the great event, we couldn't have been more pleased. From the start we were welcomed by Morton's Catering Sales Manager Esther. She listened to our plans and desires to achieve a Cuban American themed meal. We meet with Executive Chef Fernando who created a delightful meal, so many amazing choices and executed with perfection. Executive Pastry Chef Lauren designed the cake that was to die for! Tres Leches cake with Butter cream, WOW! With every meeting it just got better, and we were so relieved and excited that our once in a lifetime event was in the hands of true professionals. A big shout out to Morton's Staff that were on site for the wedding who went above and beyond to make my daughter wedding be THE BEST DAY EVER! They stayed on task with all the demands of a wedding, we all enjoyed there attentiveness and expertise in service and decorating! Our Venue looked like a blank slate upon my arrival. By the time our guest arrived for the outdoor ceremony, it was transformed into a fairy tale come true! My daughter and new son in law are forever grateful.

  Bride and Mother of the Bride Approved

  Morton's not only catered our incredible rehearsal dinner, but also our beautiful wedding. My husband and I used them to cater our rehearsal dinner and had the best cake EVER for the rehearsal dinner and our experience was very delightful and seamless. Everyone continues to talk about the delicious food and cakes from the rehearsal dinner and the wedding.

  Great service and quality

  Morton’s Market provided the catering for our Sarasota wedding in February. We planned the entire wedding from Europe and did not get to try the food we selected for our dinner menu and hors d’oeuvres, which made me a little nervous, but Morton’s exceeded our expectations! The quality of the food was outstanding and the staff was great! We received so many compliments on the food and service, but especially also the bartender.
  Esther was our main contact and was phenomenal to work with. She went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect.

  Morton’s Market provided the catering for our Sarasota wedding in February.   Y U M! Brides – look no further for a delicious, unique, and cost effective caterer!

  I feel like as a wedding guest, food is usually the one thing I walk away from any wedding feeling ‘meh’ about. It’s never bad, but never spectacular – just meh. I know I’m bias, but this was NOT the case on our November 3rd wedding that was catered by Morton’s! I can’t even begin to count the amount of compliments and raving reviews we’ve received on how amazing the food at our wedding was. A lot of that comes down to Esther, the Catering Sales Manager at Morton’s. Being a destination bride, I did most of my planning remotely. Esther was so kind, flexible, and creative in helping me craft our wedding menu. We knew we wanted to do something a little unique, and very “Florida” themed for our destination beach wedding that all of our out of town guests would enjoy. Esther helped bring that vision to life by creating a menu that included an ahi tuna and oyster raw bar, passed Cuban flatbreads and pineapple chicken skewers, a made-to-order fish taco station, carved flank steak with chimichurri sauce, plantains, lots of fresh fruit and so so so much more. The quality of the food was outstanding, the presentation was beautiful (a few unofficial pictures attached), and the customer service of Esther and the whole staff was top notch. I highly recommend Morton’s to any brides in the Sarasota area, and especially to any destination brides who are looking for a local partner they can trust!

  We chose Morton's to cater our wedding in Bradenton, FL after they did such a great job at my sister's wedding. We were out of town while planning our wedding and Esther was so helpful and great to work with during this process. She is so organized and thinks of every little detail that we probably would have forgotten. The food that Morton's served was amazing and all of the guests raved about the quality of the food. The presentation and customer service was outstanding and very professional. I would choose them again in a heartbeat to cater another event.

  I strongly recommend working with Esther Williams and Morton’s Gourmet Market for your wedding. From the very start of my planning process Esther was phenomenal!
  My very first conversation with Esther was over the phone and at this point I was just shopping around, looking for quotes from different caterers in the Sarasota area. I was very overwhelmed and did not have a clear idea what type of food I wanted. Esther was patient and kind; she gave me several options to consider and took the extra time to break down all the pricing for me. I was so impressed with her fast responses and professionalism that I knew I wanted Morton’s to cater the wedding before I had even tasted the food. Eventually we settled on a southern style menu and Esther took our idea and created a delicious menu for us that exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted great and it had just the perfect amount of style, fried green tomatoes and all.
  After the tasting, we signed the contract and the real work began. I had to choose all the other things that go along with a wedding, the plates, napkins, chairs, and the list goes on and on. Esther was always helpful giving great recommendations and even finding ways to save me money wherever she could. Esther was so awesome I ended up making her my “day-of” coordinator. She had helped me find someone to do the makeup, our officiant, and the DJ Company; all of which were also fantastic. I trusted that she would make sure the day went smoothly and she didn’t disappoint!
  On my wedding day I enjoyed my time with my friends and family, I did not stress about anything. I even ate most of my dinner! Sure some unexpected things happened but Esther made it work. She handled everything, she was amazing and to me the day was absolutely perfect. Everyone enjoyed the food, and had such a good time. Every detail turned out exactly how I imagined.   I would recommend Morton's Gourmet Market to anyone & everyone!!! We were married on 11/12/16, but started planning a year and a half in advance. We met Esther Williams and just KNEW she was the perfect person to help plan our special day. She ensured everything we wanted was incorporated into the wedding! The food was amazing, and my guests loved it from the chicken, to the salmon, mashed potatoes, veggies & of course the cupcakes!!! Whenever I had a concern, question or need Esther was so responsive & knew exactly how to answer. She is top notch & we will be forever thankful to her for her services & for Morton's quality! Big shot out to the staff/servers at our wedding. They worked their tails off and were so kind through out it all! We could not have asked for a better team for our wedding!! Thank you Morton's & Esther Williams! <3, The Morgans 11/12/16

  I would recommend Morton's Gourmet Market to anyone & everyone!!! We were married on 11/12/16, but started planning a year and a half in advance. We met Esther Williams and just KNEW she was the perfect person to help plan our special day. She ensured everything we wanted was incorporated into the wedding! The food was amazing, and my guests loved it from the chicken, to the salmon, mashed potatoes, veggies & of course the cupcakes!!! Whenever I had a concern, question or need Esther was so responsive & knew exactly how to answer. She is top notch & we will be forever thankful to her for her services & for Morton's quality! Big shot out to the staff/servers at our wedding. They worked their tails off and were so kind through out it all! We could not have asked for a better team for our wedding!!   We couldn’t have been happier with the services provided by Morton’s Catering for our 10/08/16 wedding. We had Morton’s provide the appetizers for the cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, and the wedding cake.
  
  For appetizers we got the vegetable platter, samosas, and chicken skewers. For the buffet dinner we had caesar salad, dinner rolls, garlic broccolini, lasagna, mushroom ravioli, and chicken alfredo. The food tasted great! We received numerous compliments from guests about how delicious the dinner was.
  
  For the cake, we had a three tier cake and it looked and tasted absolutely wonderful. I sent Morton’s pictures of what we wanted the cake to look like and they really did a great job. It was three tier (10”, 8”, and 6”) with white roses and baby’s breath.
  
  The service we received from Morton’s from day 1 has been great. Esther at Mortons was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. My husband and I changed the menu several times and she would send us another quote in no time. She was also very understanding when I called her three days before the wedding to ask her when was the absolute latest I could confirm the headcount due to the hurricane causing flight delays and cancelations. She told me that at 9am the day before the wedding they would start preparing the food and that she would need to know then. The fact that she was going to let me change the headcount the day before the wedding demonstrates how much Morton’s was willing to work with me to make sure everything worked out on my big day.
  
  The service received on the day of the wedding was also just wonderful. The catering team did a great job setting all the tables and setting up the buffet table with the decorations and centerpieces I had provided them with. The catering team was also very well dressed and very professional. After the wedding they kindly boxed up all the leftovers food and cake.
  I highly recommend Morton’s Catering for anyone’s wedding. Thank you thank you thank you!

Esther was so much fun to work with, and the staff did a fantastic plated dinner reception! My guests drooled over our menu and our cake! Not only was my Wedding Day a success, but the day after, my out-of-town family was able to enjoy a catered lunch. My parents, who hosted the brunch, were able to enjoy spending time with the family instead of keeping busy in the kitchen cooking for everyone. I highly recommend Morton's Catering to anyone who has an event needing to be catered! Thank you, Morton's, for everything!!

  I was a destination bride who had never been to Sarasota and as soon as I stepped into the market, I knew this was where I wanted to cater from. The food is absolutely exquisite, fresh, beautiful, delicious - everything you want it to be! I absolutely loved working with Esther who was a pleasure to work with even though changing my mind a million times about the escort cards and having an open seating plan. If only I had more time to eat that night!!!

We did stations and came to them with what we had in mind and they brought the perfect menu to life (Kansas City BBQ, Seafood, Gourmet Taco bar and a Southern station)! We had so many compliments on the food and everything was perfect! Thank you so much!

  Having chosen to do a destination wedding, I reviewed companies that catered to our reception location. After looking at all of our options, we chose to go with Morton's. My family lives in Florida, so my sister went out and tried the food. She's a fantastic cook, so I trusted her judgement, and I'm glad we did!!
  
  Since we did a sunset ceremony and our reception wasn't starting until 8:30, we chose to do tapas, champagne, and cake. Morton's prepared and served all of the food. There was more than enough and everyone raved about how delicious it was (going back for seconds and thirds). When my son requested more of a passed (served) item, it was immediately brought out for him to enjoy.
  
  Esther was responsible for helping me put together the menu. She was extremely professional and always made sure that I understood what we were getting (suggesting certain items to be served instead of buffet style). Whenever I had a question, she promptly responded, and I truly enjoyed my phone conversations with her.
  
  At our reception, I was able to talk with Louise (she was one of the servers), and she also was amazing. When I needed assistance at the end of the night, she was the one who told me that she'd help me get it taken care of. I am extremely grateful for her kindness and assistance.
  
  My husband didn't get to eat his Groom cheesecake (made by Morton's), so we took it back to our condo. He enjoyed it too!!
  
  We are thrilled to have used Morton's and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to book a caterer for their wedding!!

  Morton's provided a miniature wedding cake for our private ceremony. It was beautiful and so delicious, a coconut cream cake. We loved their creation, so will you!

  We used Morton's to cater our wedding this past weekend. We worked with Patti and Felicia for catering and Jamie for our cake. I could not have asked for a better team! They were all so easy to work with. Our vision was not easy (we wanted a more free flowing party than a sit down wedding), but they totally got it and ran with it. Our guests raved about how creative our food stations were and how DELICIOUS the food was. Our wedding would not have been the same without Morton's!! Thank you!

  Ruth and her team at Morton's Gourmet Market exceeded all expectations! She created an exact replica of my dream wedding cake from the picture I provided. Morton's has, BY FAR, the most delicious cake in town... None of the other cakes we tasted even came close. We felt like royalty at the cake tasting AND, unbelievably, Morton's was the most affordable (It was an even better deal than Publix and WAY more professional and delicious). You will not be disappointed with Morton's cakes or customer service!
