Amazing!
I truly have no words for how amazing Sam is. We hired her for our wedding and did an engagement shoot a few months beforehand. She made us so comfortable! Not only is she the absolute SWEETEST, but she is so incredibly talented. I was so nervous about my photos and she blew me away I cried when we received our Previews. Sam did both our engagement and wedding photos and they are absolutely AMAZING. We could not be happier with how everything turned out!! The quality of each photo is unreal. On top of that, Sam made the entire process as easy and seamless as possible. She is friendly and genuine - she's someone you want by your side on your wedding day. Sam is absolutely amazing and a dream to work with. From our initial consultation to our wedding day Sam made the entire process seamless and so enjoyable. She captured all of the joy and love we felt on our wedding day. Every single photo is amazing, looking through them felt like reliving the day all over again. Choosing Sam is the best decision you can make for your wedding
I tell every single person who asks not only how important choosing a great wedding photographer is, but how choosing Sam will be the best decision they make for their wedding.
I don’t think I most couples understand how much time they will spend with their photographer throughout their wedding day. Your photographer gets there while you’re getting ready and spends just about every moment with you until the night is over. Not only should you want someone who takes gorgeous photos, but you should also want someone who is genuinely fun to be around so you feel like you’re spending your day with a friend vs someone you’ve only met once or twice.
One look at her website or Instagram will show you that Sam’s photos are stunning, but on top of that she is such a genuine, caring, and fun person to be around. Myself, my husband, and all of our friends and family felt like we were hanging out with a close friend all day long. She made us feel comfortable while taking photos and did a great job of capturing photos in ways that felt natural and fun vs stiff and posed.
The weather didn’t cooperate for us the day of our wedding but that didn’t stop Sam. She ran around outside in the cold, wind, and rain taking outdoor property photos with us because she knew how bad we wanted them and never once complained or even stopped smiling and hyping us up. She kept assuring us the photos were gorgeous and no one would be able to tell how crappy the weather was and she was 100% correct. I can honestly say that as a bride dealing with rain on her wedding day, the only thing that kept me calm was knowing Sam would take amazing photos no matter what the weather or other circumstances were.
Because of the weather, we didn’t get to use our floral arrangement set up on the outdoor arbor and we were pretty disappointed about that. During cocktail hour Sam grabbed a few umbrellas and asked if we’d want to go outside and see the unused ceremony set up and take a few umbrella pictures in the rain. Once we got to the ceremony spot, there was a stunning sunset and even though it was raining heavily at that point, Sam had us set up for a few photos that turned out to be not only some of my favorite photos of the day but also one of my favorite moments of the night. She stood there in the pouring rain while we ran around and danced and she managed to perfectly document the emotions and feelings of a newlywed couple.
I cannot say enough great things about Sam. She is so incredibly talented, her prices are more than fair, and she will do whatever it takes to make sure she delivers the wedding photos of your dreams. Several of our friends are already planning to work with her for their weddings after seeing how our photos turned out. If we had to plan the whole day over again, I would choose Sam every single time. -

Best choice for a photographer
Working with Sam was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. She is so professional, sweet, and easy to work with. There was never a time where we felt uncomfortable, and Sam gives the best hype to give you the best photos. Galleries arrived within the timeframe she promised, and I haven't stopped looking at them since she sent them ! -

Sam and her assistant were so fun! They knew exactly where to go at the venue and how to place us. Sam remembered all the pictures I wanted and was adamant about getting every single one. Coming out of a very unprofessional situation with another photographer, Sam made me feel 100% better being with her! Her responsiveness and love for photographing made our day even more special! Sam was a delight to work with! We were drawn to her realistic, natural glam style of photos from the beginning and then impressed with her quick communication, reasonable prices, straightforward policies, and willingness to be flexible for our elopement and reception on different days, in different cities, with uncertain hours. She was responsive, punctual, honest, kind, creative, and made the day a breeze for people unaccustomed to being in front of the camera. We felt comfortable with her immediately and she got all the shots we asked for, and hundreds of amazing ones we didn't! She was great in all kinds of photos -- posed, candid, motion shots, strange lighting, finding the right location and angles. Sam went above and beyond to give us a few sneak peek photos super quickly, keep us updated as she worked on our gallery, and then presented us with a gorgeous, thorough, beautifully edited collection we can't wait to show off. I highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a keen photographer's eye, a seamless experience from first email to final picture posting, and just a generally kind and dedicated person! -

Sam was fantastic to work with from start to finish. She was one of the only photographers who allowed me to pay for as many shooters as I needed for exactly as many hours as I needed each, instead of a package where I was locked into a set number of hours. She was great to work with on the day of and made us all feel very comfortable and at ease. We got our pictures back quickly and they're all beautiful, having captured our day perfectly. We're so thankful to have these memories of our day. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Sam! -

A truly spectacular vendor
My experience with Sam at Mountain Peak Studios was top notch. From my initial email inquiring about wedding packages Sam was a pleasure to work with. She's kind, accommodating, and just overall a wonderful person. We made a few changes along the way with our vision and what we wanted and Sam was beyond accommodating. She was truly a pleasure to work with and got so many great shots that we will treasure :) -

I can't say enough good things about Sam and Mountain Peak Studios! We had a small wedding and was looking for someone for only 2 hours. I didn't think we were going to find someone to do this until we met Sam. She understood exactly what we were looking for. Her pictures are just amazing! She captured the feeling of our wedding perfectly. Everyone who saw our pictures commented on how wonderful they were. I usually don't like myself in pictures, but she made us feel so relaxed that every photo came out great. She also took so many candid photos; we didn't even know she was taking them! We hired Sam and Manny for our engagement shoot and for photographing/recording our wedding. We were honestly blown away with how all our photos came out. They were such a pleasure to work and it's clear that they are very passionate about what they do. The 4 minute video Manny put together of our wedding ceremony and reception had me in tears...and it continues to make me cry every time I watch it! Seriously do not look any further because you will not be disappointed. -

If you are newly engaged and researching wedding photographers/videographers, you will find that this can easily be a huge part of your wedding budget. Mountain Peak Studios is reasonable, professional, and Sam and her staff are so kind. We had Sam photograph our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Whether we were in the park or at our venue, Sam used every ideal corner, every pose, and always asked if there was some photo we wanted that we we hadn’t taken. Mountain Peak Studios also made group photos - bridal parties and family - painless. We received both our engagement photos and wedding photos in a reasonable amount of time and have received so many compliments over them.
I do want to add that Mountain Peak Studios is LGBTQ+ couple friendly. I know as a same sex couple it can be challenging to visit photographers’ websites and dig for a photo of a same sex couple.
I’d highly recommend Mountain Peak Studios to capture your big day! -

Lia Sent on 06/23/2018So far Sam has been phenomenal! She responds to all of my phone calls and text messages so quickly. She also was flexible in scheduling for engagement photos while I was in graduate school. She is kind and you can tell she is passionate about photography. When we finally got to take our engagement photos she was literally laying in the sand (we took them on the beach) and jumping over rocks to get the perfect shots! We signed the contract for her to do our wedding and I referred her to my friend who also booked her. -

Picture Perfect!!!
Sam & Manny are absolutely amazing and a dream to work with! From day one they perfectly captured our vision from the engagement session to our big day. Sam and Manny are truly passionate and genuinely love what they do and that comes through in the quality of their work. All our photos and wedding video turned out more beautiful than we imagined. If you’re thinking about booking them for your wedding, do it!! You wont be disappointed. -
