Meagan is the absolute best

Meagan was the first person we spoke with when planning our wedding at Point Lookout Vineyards. Meagan gave us a tour of the venue and we knew that we needed her to be our day of planner. Meagan was so laid back, which helped put me at ease with the planning process. She was so responsive and willing to meet with us a few months out to talk about day of details. I had wanted to do the greenery for the reception myself and discussed this with Meagan to make sure it didn't break any venue rules. Meagan assured me that it would be fine and insisted that she set the greenery up for me so that I didn't have to worry about it at all the day of. It was so thoughtful of her and I felt like she went above and beyond for us. Meagan thank you so much for all that you did for us!

Meagan is the best!

Meagan was the Day of Coordinator for our wedding in August at Point Lookout Vineyards. Her service and attentiveness far exceeded all our expectations of a Day of Coordinator. Leading up to to the day, she communicated everything effectively and was free to answer any questions that arose. And the day of was just magical! She has amazing taste, and honestly I trusted her completely with the setup and last minute decisions of the day. I was really shocked just how easy she made the whole experience! I cannot say enough amazing things about Meagan.

Great Service!

Meagan was our day of coordinator. She helped to guide us throughout our planning process via email. She was extremely calm, and had everything set up how we wanted it for our big day. She helped us by giving us a preferred vendors list, a floor plan, a time-line, communicated with all of our vendors, etc. Thank you so much!

Meagan was awesome!

We were planning a wedding in North Carolina from New Jersey and it was so nice to have Meagan in our corner throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, we were able to focus on the "I DOs" and the actual day itself because she took care of everything as advertised. She was easy to communicate with and gave us a great list of vendors. We are so happy we went with her company.

Meagan Rocks!!

I know there’s not enough space in this box to say how thankful we are for Meagan! We took a leap of faith on a very cold, very foggy day on a wedding venue that had nothing but rock and half a foundation laid down all because Meagan being the best of the best turned that blank canvas into visions of our dream wedding that were better than we could of ever thought up with just her words! We booked almost instantly and knew we needed to book her for our day too! She’s so down to earth and so accessible at all times! She gives you the vip treatment no matter what level of help you pick with her. Her list of preferred vendors made our wedding so easy and stress free that at times me and my husband litterally forgot we were planning a wedding! We can’t thank her enough

Fantastic Wedding with a brilliant Coordinator

I absolutely loved being able to work with North + South Wedding Company. She did an amazing job getting everything together for my September wedding. I loved have a person who could take care of all of my vendors, set up and take-down of the wedding, and my crazy wedding party. I felt 100% taken care of by Meagan. She knew what I wanted and made it happen! My decorations looked amazing, the flow/timelines of the ceremony and reception were flawless. Honestly, if I wanted to renew my vows, I would contact Meagan first to see if she can help me.

There are few words that can describe how glad we are that we hired Meagan to help out with our big day. Meagan served as our "day-of coordinator" and from the first time we contacted her, she was incredibly helpful! Meagan truly made it her priority to make sure that our big day was exactly how we envisioned. From getting the venue to drape the ceremony space free of charge, to helping them seamlessly "flip" the room for the first time, to making sure our day ran on time and as scheduled, Meagan helped to make everything perfect! She even gave up her meal so an unexpected guest could still eat! I always heard while planning our wedding that the most important vendor to hire was a coordinator and they were not wrong! The overwhelming peace I felt when I got the email detailing the entire timeline of the day as well as looking back and seeing how seamless everything seemed to transition, I can owe all to Meagan. Not only was she such a joy to work with but she is also incredible at her job. We cannot thank her enough for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives!

We hired Meagan as our Day-Of Coordinator for our September wedding in Flat Rock, NC. She was wonderful to work with, very organized and always had a calm demeanor. I planned our wedding from Atlanta, so her knowledge of the area and great relationships with many vendors in the Asheville area really made the process so much easier. Her communication was great - she was always quick to return a phone call, email or text. She worked with our extremely tight timeline very well and was able to make light of stressful moments. We had a million moving peices to our wedding and was able to ensure everything happened on time and that my husband and I were taken care of every step of the way. She is genuinely a good person that cares about you and your big day. I would highly recommend Meagan for any type of wedding coordination/planning. She really went above and beyond the scope of 'day-of coordination' for us and we were so thankful we found her. Meagan made our special day flawless and I KNOW we couldn't have pulled it off without her. Thanks Meagan!!

I searched and searched for a wedding planner to help me plan my mountain destination wedding in Asheville, and all I kept finding was outrageously priced vendors who, even in my price range I could only afford for the weekend of. I was planning from Florida, and I needed help, I needed recommendations, someone to tell me if my ideas were good, or to redirect me if they weren't. After all, I have never planned a wedding before! I had no idea what to do!! Or now looking back, realizing, how much is involved and how many little things it entails!

I hired Meagan, she was in my price range and gave me so much more than any other vendor had offered, and I could consult with them the whole year leading up to the wedding. what???? Someone who wasn't trying to charge an arm and a leg for their help? I couldn't believe it! Someone I could run ideas by, get critique from and could help me stay organized and think of all those little things that I didn't even know about!

From the minute I hired her, to even after the wedding, my planner, Meagan was attentive, patient and just made me so comfortable. She listened to me, guided me away from "bad ideas", lol, kept me on my time line, and was such a blessing in disguise for me. She made my wedding beautiful, she gave me everything I wanted, and more! She saw my vision and made it happen! She even dealt with the venue to get rid of what I did not want, and I didn't have to deal with any vendors who were being "difficult", she handled it all. She handled it with such professionalism, a laugh and a smile. She helped me save a lot of money, she pointed me to less expensive options for things I wanted to have, and I was able to have a beautiful wedding in the mountains with everything I wanted within my "realistic" budget.

My husband, Will and I were married on June 3, 2016 at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Living in Texas, we were planning our wedding from hundreds of miles away. Neither of us had any experience in wedding planning, but we thought we could do it on our own. Biltmore recommended that we get a planner/coordinator and many of the vendors we initially contacted asked us for the name of our coordinator. This is when Will and I found Meagan Jenzen.

Meagan Jenzen was our “day of coordinator.” Meagan met up with us at Biltmore weeks to months before our big day to help us plan food, seating, linens, etc. She responded immediately to every email and text. She created the timeline for our wedding weekend. She worked way beyond her job description as a day of coordinator. Meagan truly shined the day of our wedding. She did everything from making sure that our ring bearer had the ring case with the rings in hand to laying out our wedding décor and props (which my then future husband mistakenly thought he would have time to do). Meagan ensured our wedding day went seamlessly and that we stayed on schedule.

Most importantly, she ensured that Will and I could enjoy our wedding day without any stress. If I had to redo my wedding all over again, I would choose Meagan in a heartbeat! She was not only well organized, but she was a joy to be around. Choosing Meagan as our coordinator was the single best decision we made for our wedding day. I would recommend her as a wedding coordinator to anyone!

We hired Meagan for our day of coordinator. We don’t live in the AVL area so we did an initial meeting over the phone and I spoke to a former bride who was extremely happy with Megan’s services. The first time we actually met in person was at one of the final walk trough’s at the venue. We noticed Meagan was very calm and quiet which worried us a little but we also appreciated her calmness and knew that it would be a good balance with the chaos going on the day of. We are happy with Meagan and all that she did for us the few weeks before and on the day of. She is organized, attention to detail, provides efficient and effective communication, and gave us plentiful of advice during planning. In the end the areas that we weren’t 100% satisfied with were her being too quiet and not effectively leading people around during the evening into the night, our guestbook has 8 signatures out of 125 guests and all though we didn’t ask this of her we felt this should have been encouraged to guests by the coordinator from our professional and personal experience with events and weddings. There were very minor situations that occurred that we weren’t completely satisfying with but we know guests would never know the difference and we weren’t upset or thought Meagan did bad – possibly just some things that take experience learning from to improve in the future. Overall, Meagan did a great job while we had a significant unforeseen circumstance that happened with family right before the ceremony and Meagan handled it with professionalism and grace.

I only counted Meagan down on flexibility because NOBODY is absolutely perfect! Realizing that all brides, Mother of Brides, Grooms, etc. are different and have different personalities I have to say that Meagan was absolutely perfect for me. She provided a month by month list of things to get done so the wedding planning was smooth and I never felt overwhelmed even the last week because slowly over time it all got done. When we did get down to the last couple of weeks and I was texting more often, Meagan answered promptly and I joke that she was also my therapist along with being the wedding planner.

If I could give advice which I shouldn't, I would advise meeting your planner and make sure you are comfortable and your personalities work well together. Most importantly I would advise that with all of your vendors and especially your wedding planner.....let them do their job. They know what they are doing. You are paying them and they will do a good job for you if you just let them do what they do best.

Meagan was awesome. The wedding was perfect and she was the one person I absolutely couldn't have done without.
