    Absolutely incredible, dependable & professional

    Debbie stepped in & immediately started solving problems, making referrals, and offering valuable guidance on the process.
    Debbie recommended a Flourist who did truly beautiful work and made my bouquet dreams come true. She designed the dinner space, cocktail hour, reception & ceremony spaces…all were perfect!
    She is incredibly professional, communicative, transparent, timely, and thoughtful. She is thorough and anticipated our needs and possible challenges, then had solutions and recommendations. I loved every aspect of working with her.
    She set things up beautifully, and was the last in site, cleaning things up. I would absolutely recommend her!!!!

    Dream team for our dream wedding

    Wow wow wow! I wanted to take the time to leave the most thorough review of high praise because Debbie's team was absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end.

    We hired Debbie about a month out from our wedding for Day-of coordination as well as to review and revise all of the vendor contracts that we had done prior to hiring her. Debbie picked up sloppy and mismanaged work from a previous planner we parted ways with. It was no easy feat to pick up the previous planner's work and correct it and Debbie dived in head first. She asked thoughtful, detailed oriented questions the entire time to make sure that she executed my vision to the tee.

    Debbie and I had frequent calls leading up to our wedding detailing every aspect of the wedding and logistics. The logistics of being a NYC DIY-heavy bride without a car we were concerned as it was important to me that we didn't have family and friends setting up on wedding day. Debbie came by and took inventory of all of our DIY materials, picked them up prior to the wedding, set them up wedding day, and then dropped them off back at our house on wedding night.
    The venue we rented had to be left cleared and clean and Debbie's team did a fantastic job with that and left the place spotless. Debbie also sent me photos of the space for reference.

    Now for Debbie's team on our wedding day. My family and guests LOVED Debbie's team. They were kind, eager, and did anything my family requested of them. I found out after the fact that one of Debbie's team members helped my stepmom-in-law with her makeup before the ceremony, which was definitely outside of their roles and responsibilities, but they did it with such a smile and grace. I heard multiple stories just like that one of Debbie's team jumping to help wedding guests or even vendors as they needed it during the night.

    If you are looking for someone detail-oriented who will keep a tight timeline and help you bring your dream wedding to life, I would 100% recommend hiring Debbie. She was worth every penny to my husband and me. And our wedding would have not gone as smoothly as it did without her ability to manage so many different aspects and quickly think on her feet.

    Debbie did such an amazing job we are really hoping our day gets picked up by a bridal magazine.

    Amazing and professional

    I would recommend "On Time Event Planning " for any occasion. They have a lot of innovative ideas to help make your imagination possible. They are very attentive to your needs and highly professional. The customer service is a one! Debbie makes you feel comfortable to leave the planning in her hands.     Simply the best

    My now husband found On-Time Event Planning and Debbie Lucy about a month or so before our wedding date. He saw the stress building to a breaking point as I was trying to plan our wedding and work at the same time. We had a meet and greet phone call with Debbie and knew immediately that we wanted to work with her. Debbie is extremely professional and dealt with each issue or problem with aplomb and a calm reassurance that alleviated all of my stress and allowed me to do what every bride wishes--just focus on the fun stuff and enjoy waking up on the wedding day without having to worry about the details. Debbie took care of everything, and during Covid that can mean last minute unexpected wrinkles. She is highly responsive to emails, text messages, and phone calls. She anticipated and asked about details I wouldn't have known to even consider. Several of my guests, including my mother, commented on her skill of making the actual day run incredibly smoothly. There was never a moment where guests were standing around unsure of what was happening next. Debbie also made sure I changed into comfortable shoes (that she insisted I bring), as I spent most of the night dancing. She handled the timeline, sent out the venue's required Covid survey to all the guests and dealt with all issues that arose related to that, was ready with Plan B when it seemed as though my place cards were not going to arrive on time, and contacted all of the vendors on my behalf and communicated with them. Debbie asked me if I wanted to be included on those emails and I opted out, knowing that I was in very good hands. That one aspect alone made the experience of hiring Debbie worthwhile.
    On-Time Event Planning and Debbie Lucy enhanced my wedding. We could not have asked for a better experience with a wedding planner. Simply the best.

    “We Still Do” 30th Anniv Vow Renewal

    In my line of work as a DJ for more than 25 years, I’ve worked with numerous Event/Wedding planners. On-Time Event Planning has been the best by far.
    Debbie Lucy’s focus on the details of our celebration left no stone unturned.
    Her decorum, patience and professionalism demonstrated during an adverse situation with our caterer, reigned supreme and allowed my wife and I to focus on our guests.
    From theme and color scheme to music and vendors, she was on top of it. She even assisted as a food server when one of the hired servers had an emergency on the day of our event.
    Without hesitation, we will use On-Time Event for future celebrations and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

    Perfection!

    On a scale from 1-10, Ms. Debbie’s service was a certified 20! There were so many up in the air details regarding our wedding due to Covid and Ms. Debbie made sure that as a Bride, I was NOT stressed out!!! She always reassured me “you’re getting married, and it’s going to be amazing!” She made it happen! She took care of everything we needed and MORE - things we didn’t even know we needed, from coordinating, to decorations, venues, the list goes on! Not to mention, she broke her leg earlier this year and was still so ON TOP OF EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. I’m not sure what we would have done without her. She was beyond professional but made us feel like family at the same time. We only had a ceremony this year and pushed our reception to next year due to Covid, but she made the Wedding day still feel like “The Big Day!” Ms. Debbie also advised us in NOT spending a whole
    lot of UNNECESSARY MONEY! She cares about making sure her clients can live comfortably after the Wedding. She made my Bridal Party and Family feel like a million bucks, and had her chef prepare to-go meals for us to eat as we headed to take pictures. AMAZING! I can go on and on and on!
    Ms. Debbie knows what she’s doing and will do more than the job of a coordinator because she is truly in the business of blessing others. We are eternally grateful to her for all of her hard work and look forward to working with her again for our reception in 2022!

    Thompson Wedding

    Debbie was phenomenal. Words can't even explain how great she was. Debbie was my day of coordinator but I had her every step of the way. She helped me in so many ways. From the minute I booked her services she got to work. From taking all of deliveries the day before, checking in with vendors, creating my timeline, coordinating the rehearsal dinner and helping out wherever I need and guiding me through this process. There was no way I would have had a smooth wedding day without Debbie. Not only was she great but her staffing was excellent and so nice and helpful. I had a last minute request for my catering company that I whispered in her staffs ear when I was about to walk down the aisle. I was surprised that when I walked in to the room it was fulfilled. Debbie is so knowledgeable on weddings. She is organized and attentive. Her attention to detail and her timeliness was superb. My whole family was in awe. To this day my sister and fiancé will not stopping talking about her. We will be using her in the future for all of our events. I don't think I can ever thank her enough. I promise you that you would be so happy booking Debbie for your event. She will not disappoint. She is truly a lifesaver and I am forever grateful for her. I found a diamond in the rough with her!

    Wedding Saver!

    We started working with Debbie for an Oct 2020 wedding but unfortunately had to cancel all our plans given the pandemic and start over in 2021. For a while we were on the fence on when and where to do it. Throughout this whole process, Debbie was an angel. Even though we hired her initially when we already had a venue, she went above and beyond and helped us find a new venue given our concerns around COVID safety. Then she continued to help us throughout the process. We planned a wedding in 1.5 months. We were very busy and stressed b/c of COVID but she made it happen. She was always available, willing to do anything to help and super patient with us. The event turned out beautifully.
    Debbie also set herself apart with her willingness to be direct and give us guidance. When she thought something was not a good deal or was not going to match with our theme, she was not afraid to express her opinion in a respectful way. Her advice was always from a genuine desire to help us realize a great wedding (and not let my fears get in the way).

    You can't go wrong with Debbie! She is awesome!

    Great service & a great price!

    Debbie was a fantastic wedding planner. We had our wedding at a raw space (26 Bridge in DUMBO), and Debbie was able to help pull it all together. She brought our wedding in on budget, her staff was excellent, and our wedding even got a write-up in the NYTimes! Truly a perfect day for us.

    Howard & Donette's Wedding

    This was the first venue I visited on the venture to find a venue for my wedding. The moment I stepped into this venue it felt magical and immediately I turned to my amazing wedding planner Debbie and my fiance and said this is it. From that moment up until I said I do Debbie was a blessing in disguise. What I loved most about her service is her integrity and punctuality. Her personality was so soothing and kind no matter what hurdles we faced during the process she always made it a priority to make sure I wasn't stressed or had very little to worry about. I also loved that she was a great listener. My husband loved her also. I was great to have someone I could have called anytime if I had a change of heart about color or anything for that matter. On the day of the wedding I felt like a true princess. Debbie executed everything exactly the way I envisioned it and more. I want to say she is truly walking in her purpose and mastered her craft as an event planner. I will definitely be using her in the future for any event I have

    Debbie is the best!

    Disclaimer: Of course my husband and I have no experience with other wedding planners, but it would be impossible for anyone to perform any better than Debbie, so I can say with confidence she is the best.

    Debbie, the owner of On Time Event Planning Sevices, is organized, attentive, compassionate, clever, creative, fun and professional. Her services are reasonably priced, especially when factoring all of the little touches she adds to your planning and wedding experience. A great example of this is the emergency bag she made for me to have on my wedding day. The bag came bedazzled with my name and filled with everything from mouthwash to a Tide stick (which I had to use before I even got to the ceremony).

    Debbie is extremely calm and patient: our wedding location changed about three times in the year and a half we worked with her and she never made me feel bad about any of it; she was upbeat and ready for all of it.

    We look forward to working with Debbie when planning future events. She and her team went above and beyond to make out experience relaxing, enjoyable and memorable. We have no regrets!

    A true lifesaver during wedding planning

    From the moment I spoke to Debbie Lucy, the owner of On Time Event Services, I knew I had to hire her. Before I even hired her I had a 45-minute personalized conversation with her in which she asked every question I could think of and more. She wanted to truly get to know my then-fiance and me. I hired her shortly after, and for her very affordable price, she absolutely went above and beyond in day-of-coordination services. She was always responsive via email or phone, and no task or problem was too big -- she always had an idea for solving it, and took many of the most nagging tasks off my back (things like setting up parking with the venue and coordinating load-in times with the vendors). She was eager to make sure everything worked for me. Above all, she always had the most positive attitude. Ultimately, the day went smoothly because I knew I could trust Debbie with anything! (And when my dress ripped she was there sewing it back up!). Everyone in my family enjoyed working with her too. I highly recommend her services!

    Debbie is an incredible person and Wedding Planner--that title alone does not do justice to the many marvelous perks you receive when you hire Debbie. What I love about Debbie is she doesn't beat around the bush, she gives you the facts, tells you realistically what you can expect within your budget (we came in BELOW the budget we gave her BTW and the wedding surpassed my expectations) and Debbie listens intently to what you want, what your taste is, and what your vision is. After you've shared with Debbie your thoughts/hopes/desires, she then offers suggestions, recommendations and pro tips on how you can achieve your goals. Debbie is extremely responsive to all emails, phone calls, texts and inquiries of any kind. A major perk of hiring Debbie is she knows the business, she knows people in the industry, and she know how to get you the best deals with vendors--I'm pretty thrifty and Debbie was far more knowledgable about how to get the most bang for your buck. Debbie is warm, patient, and super understanding, so all our interactions were a breeze; after this whole process I can honestly say that I count Debbie as friend and feel so fortunate to have met her. There are some people who know exactly what they want and are ready to go as soon as they get engaged--I am not one of those people. I work long hours at a stressful, time consuming job and the idea of planning out a wedding here in New York with my friends and family scattered throughout the US and overseas was daunting, overwhelming, and just plain scary. Debbie held our hands through all of it. During the actual wedding, Debbie's staff was professional, friendly, and wonderful at their job. They cleared, cleaned, moved things around and set up seamlessly, they were stealth, accurate, and fast! If you hire Debbie as your planner, you are hiring a total professional at a ridiculously great price (for what Debbie does--trust: the woman is a saint.) Debbie is the best kept secret in NY!

    Debbie Lucy was the best present I could have given my daughter and future son-in-law. Debbie is business-savvy and incredibly organized; she wasted no time in asking my daughter and fiance the important questions that needed to be answered in order to provide them with the wedding of their dreams. Debbie is extremely knowledgeable about all the venues, vendors, and special services in keeping within Jon and Lara's budget. Debbie has excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills. The name of her company says it all. Every detail was in place long before the wedding and everything started on time. Additionally, her staff is extremely competent. They were helpful, personable, and efficient.
    Debbie and her staff have wonderful interpersonal skills. My daughter and her husband enjoyed their planning sessions with Debbie and she became a personal friend. I want to finish by saying that my daughter and her husband are very quirky and their wishes were sometimes a bit strange and yet Debbie was very patient and open-minded; she accommodated their every wish. Everyone came up to me afterwards and said it was the most magical wedding they had ever attended. Oh, and did I mention that Debbie was the most economical of all the quotes we got and managed to come in on budget. All in all, working with Debbie and her team was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them.

    as a little girl you dream of your wedding day, on time event planning services made my dreams come true. i'll be honest I didn't have the largest budget on the planet but you couldn't tell. the staff was neat and professional. the owner was polite, kind and listened to my needs, such a beautiful soul. not only would I recommend on time event planning services again--I have. thank you so much for making this little girls dreams come to light.
