  The nicest staff ever

  We love paella from our favorite restaurant that closed down in Berkeley and wanted something fun and family style for our wedding. Ralph's paella was the perfect fit for us. because we were having our wedding on a family property and back yard, we needed to limit how many vendors we engaged with for ease of logistics and our sanity! Plus we needed flexibility in the set up and cooking method etc. Well Ralph and his team had it all, the food, the appetizers, the dishware, the all inclusive package was perfect for us. Tiffany was great to work with over email. We also wanted to support small businesses with all our vendors. The food was delicious and we were eating the leftovers for a few days afterwards which was perfect. The staff were so much fun and could not have been nicer. We also loved that they got so enthusiastic about our music and party and contributed great energy throughout the whole event. They never stopped smiling and we think they had as good a time as we did - which was lovely!
  Ralph sent us a really nice personalized note in the days following and we would definitely hire them again if we were having a group gathering like birthday, family reunions/get together etc.
  We didn't worry about a thing with them and when we brought in a wedding coordinator mid-way through the process, they worked great with her. Thank you to Ralph and the team!!

  Paella Time is AMAZING!

  They take care of almost everything. We had a backyard wedding for ~200 guests, and needed tables, chairs, linens, plates, flatware, glasses… and Paella Time took care of it all including ALL of the set up and clean up. We didn’t know who to call for all of this, and were already overwhelmed with all of the details. THANK YOU Paella Time for being so awesome! We didn’t need to lift a finger. As great as their service is, the food was even better! Our guests were excited from the moment they first arrived, and saw the huge paella pans set up off to the side. As soon as the ceremony was over, the chef began cooking tapas and paella in front of everyone. Everything was delicious! We LOVE paella, and this, by far, was the BEST we ever had. Paella Time does NOT disappoint. We were impressed from our first contact. They email a very detailed questionnaire with things that we didn’t even think of. If you’re looking for an EASY one-stop solution, and something different and fun compared to more traditional options, you should definitely consider Paella Time.

  Good job catering our wedding for 150 guests.

  The paella and appetizers we’re excellent. Many of our guests never had this type of food before. Everyone enjoyed it. The cooking was fun. Thank you Paella Time.

  I'm not one for writing many reviews, but Chef Ralph, Tiffany, and the entire Paella Time team did an amazing job catering our wedding. LOVED the food and service. Everything was exactly as promised. Absolutely recommend.

  Could not be happier

  We were looking for something different, and my sister found Paella Time. Could not be happier. The live cooking in front of everyone was a crowd pleaser. We did sangria, tapas both during happy hour and dinner, the beet salad, 3 paellas, and churros for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our guests are still telling how much they enjoyed everything. Thank you, Tiffany, Chef Ralph, Chef Daniel, and Paella Time team for a wonderful experience.

  Fantastic Job

  Our family hired Paella Time to cater our daughter's wedding. Everything from our first contact, food, and service was fantastic. We wanted a catering option that was different than most weddings we've been to. Paella Time was exactly what we were looking for. We were actually guests at another wedding catered by Paella Time several years ago, and remembered how delicious everything was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  So So Happy

  We're so happy we chose Paella Time to cater our wedding. We didn't want boring forgettable food, and Paella Time was perfect. EVERYONE raved about the food at the reception! It was all so amazing! Chef Daniel was awesome. Our guests were impressed with the live cooking! Tiffany was extremely flexible in making customized menus and were always willing to accommodate our needs. We would definitely choose to work with Paella Time again, and highly recommend!

  Paella Time did an amazing job. We were first introduced to Paella Time at a company function a few years ago. When we were discussing food for our wedding, we knew we wanted Paella Time. The live cooking creates a unique experience that no other caterer can match. The process from start to finish was so easy. And the food was better than we remembered. Thank you Paella Time for being part of our special day.

  Paella Time Was Great!!

  Recently worked with Paella time on a wedding and they were fantastic! The staff was so nice and helpful and were on top of everything the entire night and of course the food was amazing! I highly recommend working with them!

  We met in Spain, and knew we wanted paella. Paella Time gave us an easy one stop solution providing all the plates, silverware, glasses, linens. Our wonderful venue, Piedmont Community Hall, provided the table & chairs, and the Paella Time crew took care of the rest. The tapas and paella brought us back to Spain. Everything was so delicious. Couldn't be happier. Thank you, Tiffany, Ralph, Chef Daniel, and staff. We know some of our guests have already mentioned contacting you!

  This wedding was a long time coming. Originally, planned for 2020, but rescheduled several times due to Covid, and Paella Time was there with us the entire way! So grateful to Tiffany and Ralph for answering are many, many questions, and being so flexible, accommodating, and easy to work with. Finally, after over 3 years of waiting the food did not disappoint. Everything was as good, actually better, as we had hoped for. The service was amazing. The Paella Time staff took care of all our set up and clean up. Thank you Paella Time team for a wonderful experience worthy of 5+++ stars!

  Perfection

  Thank you so much for catering our wedding! Ralph, Tiffany, chef Chris, and your staff did an absolutely incredible job. The paella was outstanding, as well as the sides, and the beet salad was done to perfection. The tableware and all of the setup was great too. And your staff was very courteous and professional.

  Ralph and the Paella Time team are amazing.

  They are all friendly and accommodating. We had a lot of guests who have various food allergies, and made special paellas just for them. Even free mac 'n cheese for some of the pickier kids. On our wedding day he was there himself to make sure everything was done according to plan. The paella was AMAZING. Many of our family & friends said it was the best they've had. Loved ALL the tapas. They even saved us some while we were taking photos. Very thoughtful. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

  Delicious, unconventional food for your special event

  Paella Time did a fantastic job catering our wedding. All of the staff showed up on time and well-dressed for the day. We got several compliments on the tapas and paella.
  
  The lead staff person, Sochi, was incredibly attentive to us and was thoughtful enough to set aside a plate of appetizers for us while we were taking pictures. She also prepared a salad and an individual pan of paella for our sweetheart table.
  
  All in all, paella was a great choice for our special day and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unconventional dish for your wedding day. There are plenty of options to choose from to tailor the food to your dietary wants/needs. The cherry on top is that this is a full service vendor who made planning/invoicing so much easier.

  Paella Time is not just a caterer which is why we decided to go with them to cater our wedding. Besides the food (which was all incredible), they provided us with tables, chairs, all linens, plates, silverware, glasses...   Just wanted to tell you that your staff and Paella were EXCELLENT! We couldn't have expected a better outcome for our celebration! Chef Daniel, Tiffany, Sheila and Maya were the friendliest, most knowledgeable and helpful group of people I've ever worked with - on time and efficient!
  
  Compliments to everyone at Paella Time for making our day look and feel absolutely special! (good call on the plates and utensils btw. What was I thinking - paper plates and disposables?!)
  
  All of our guests had wonderful things to say about the food, the tableware settings and your team. Needless to say many guests took leftovers and the business cards that were on the table! One guest asked if there was a restaurant where he can order from! :-)

  Everything was fantastic! Thank you Paella Time! Planning this wedding during Covid has been challenging, and Tiffany and Ralph made this so easy and stress free. They coordinated everything with our venue, so we didn't need to. The food was delicious and the service was great. Many, many compliments from family and friends. Couldn't be happier.

  Paella Time’s paella and tapas genuinely and authentically beats other flavors my family have tried around the Bay Area. Not only was the food tasteful, but the event staff was as well. We had a backyard wedding in Spring 2021 and Ralph and Tiffany could not have made it flow more seamlessly. I should’ve hired Tiffany as my wedding planner!

Tiffany and Ralph were super easy to work with, providing everything we needed including tables, chairs, linens, glasses, and their team was professional, friendly, and attentive.
