    Phyllis professionalism is of the highest quality. She listens to each client's individual desires and accommodates them by her superb, culinary talents and her outstanding artistry and creativity.

    Her cakes are by far the best testing of any baker, restaurant or patisserie. At our wedding all the cake was finished (which is a rarity ) and numerous people were taking pictures of our daughter's cake for there own reference!

    Phyllis created our wedding cake for 150 people for our August wedding in downtown Cleveland. Her cakes are not only gorgeous, but also delicious. After we had our tasting of five flavors, we told her we were interested in one more flavor, and she had no issues making up a new tasting cake and sending it along via our wedding planner. She also worked with us on the design, coming up with the perfect custom look after we sent her photos of several different things we we liked. Lastly, she even included an extra cake top level to keep for our 1 year anniversary. She's great, and her cakes are even better!

    Phyllis was an absolute pleasure to work with. Anything design you want, Phyllis can do. During our cake testing, we had such a difficult time choosing our wedding cake because they were all so good! Bravo to Phyllis for creating such a stunning cake on our wedding day!

    Phyllis Lester did our wedding cake for our 6/21/2014 wedding. Besides our cake being one of the most exquisite cakes that anyone has ever seen, it was the most delicious as well.
    Everyone raved about how amazing the cake tasted. We highly recommend Phyllis.

    We got a chocolate blackout cake for my son's second birthday. It was amazing. Many guests commented that it was the best cake they had ever had. It has a spectacular shiny chocolate ganache covering layers of decadent & moist cake and mousse. A must-have for any chocolate lover. She also made a custom elephant topper that was adorable. Every guest took many pictures and couldn't believe the cake tasted even better than it looked.

    ***UPDATE***
    I recently entailed her services for a bridal shower. I was looking specifically for someone who makes petits fours. It turns out she is one of the few people who makes them in the Cleveland area. Additionally, she makes them the right way. I had sampled some others that fell apart. Phyllis is meticulous in both her baking skills and her artistry. I ordered the petits fours glaces with the bride & groom's monogram piped on top. They were gorgeous. There were many compliments. I also ordered the lemon meringue tartlets and lace cookies filled with chocolate ganache. All were impeccable to look at and taste. For who values true baking artistry, she is the woman to order from. I have already received several requests from guest for her information because they, too, loved her work.

    If this wasn't enough, I am a repeat customer because she is worth it.

    I can't say enough about Phyllis Lester. The wedding cake she made for my daughter's wedding was superb. We had given her a photo from Pinterest and she copied it perfectly. The cake was moist and flavorful. Simply delicious. She also includes, in every order, an extra top-tier, boxed separately, to be enjoyed on the first anniversary. She thinks of everything. What a delight to work with.

    Phyllis of Phyllis Lester Designs was phenominal. She was very professional in every sense. She first had myself and my bridesmaids come to a cake taste testing just for us. We eventually decided on her "signature cake & design" for our wedding cake. Everyone loved the cake. I had never tasted a wedding cake that was so delicious and moist. Being a chocolate lover I had my heart set on a chocolate cake. But after tasting Phyllis's chiffon cake with lemon & raspberry filling, I chose that. As I have already said everyone loved the cake. You will be very pleased with the results if you choose her for your vendor.

    Phyllis made the most wonderful baked Alaska for our wedding !!! It is a "show stopper" just as Phyllis promised! Having a dessert that wasn't what was expected made our Wedding unique and fun! She serves it with either chocolate or caramel sauce or in my case both! I would highly recommend Phyllis for your wedding or any special occasion! Thanks Phyllis!!

    Phyllis was a pleasure to work with! Her cakes are absolutely beautiful and more importantly, they're delicious! Every time we talked on the phone, she'd ask how our move went and just made everything very personal--it was great! She does the cakes and cake testing out of her beautiful home and delivers them personally. She is truly talented! We love Phyllis!!!

    Phyllis made fabulous cakes (wedding and groom's cake) that left our guests amazed. The wedding cake was beautiful and both cakes tasted wonderful. My husband is still talking about his Script O groom's cake. Go Bucks!

    Our wedding cake was by far the best tasting and most beautiful I have ever tasted or seen. It's hard to find both, but Phyllis is capable of doing just that. She's a pleasure to work with!

    Phyllis makes not only beautiful cakes based on your custom design but they are the best tasting cakes I've ever had in my life!! Her prices are competitive but truly reflect the quality of the cake. She even made us a separate anniversary cake identical to our wedding cake. I will definitely use her again for future affairs.

    We had a great experience with Phyllis Lester. Her work is amazing, she is a true artist.
    Our cake was beautiful and tasty.
    She is very professional, only took us 2 weeks to schedule an appointment with her.
    she also did our party favor, that were beatiful and delicious.
    Her cakes are a little expensive but it is totall worth it.

    I am thrilled that we chose Phyllis Lester to create our perfect wedding cake. We brought her a photograph of a cake we saw in a magazine, and not only did she recreate it perfectly, but it was the most delicious wedding cake I've ever eaten. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, warm and generous. My husband is counting down the days until we can eat the perfectly packaged top-tier on our anniversary!

    I'm so happy that we chose Phyllis Lester Designs for our wedding cake. I interviewed and tasted cakes from 3 vendors in the Cleveland area and ended up deciding between Phyllis and White Flour. Both vendors had the best tasting cakes in my opinion, but I went with Phyllis for the personalized service (small business owner vs. bigger company) and for the price point. She was able to create a cake to our exact specification, including decorating the cake with a beautiful cascade of roses (based on a picture I provided). Everyone commented on not only how how amazing the cake looked but also how delicious it tasted. Her cakes really are beautiful and delicious. Also, she is extremely generous in all aspects of her service -- her prices are more than reasonable, the price includes a whole anniversary cake, and she provides more than the industry standard mini-slice for her tastings. I would recommend Phyllis without hesitation. She is kind, generous and extremely talented. Please note that Phyllis mainly communicates via telephone as opposed to email. Thank you, Phyllis!

    The cake was absolutely gorgeous, unique and delicious. Phyllis had me sample 5 different versions to guide me in my decision making. It was much higher than I expected but I didn't sample others because I was told she was the best and she didn't disappoint,

    Phyllis did an amazing job. I wanted a rich purple cake but with buttercream frosting and she delivered. She was nervous at first that the color wouldn't be too my liking and I had sent her some cake ideas. I wanted a unique look and we added some sparkle to it. I had my own cake topper made which Phyllis added to the cake. Everyone was so impressed and it tasted so good. She even made us a small cake to freeze for our 1 year anniversary. And to our surprise my husband loves Red Velvet so my mom had a cake made for him which was brought out during the reception.

    Phyllis made a beautiful cake for our wedding, and the cake was really a highlight for us and our guests. There is no question that her cakes taste absolutely delicious and fresh and that she is a very talented decorator. Phyllis is also a very dear person, and we enjoyed getting to know her. One thing to note, though, is that Phyllis seems to mainly interact with her clients over the phone or in person, rather than via e-mail or by using her website to communicate pertinent information. As such, we didn't always feel that all of our options and the details of our cake were communicated to us as well as they could have been. Overall, we certainly trusted Phyllis and knew that she would create a wonderful cake, but communication is the one area we would have slightly improved.
