  Great fun and great photos

  Em and Monica were a welcome addition to our wedding day. Every one of our guests who interacted with them commented on how friendly they were, and the photos that they captured were absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with our choice and would recommend Pogo Photo to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in VT or FL!

  Pogo Photo made my wedding incredible!

  Em and Steve were absolutely fantastic to work with! We don't love formal, pose-y photos, but we survived a large photo check list and Em and Steve were able to get the kiddos to smile and cooperate too (no small task). They took beautiful photos throughout the first look, ceremony, and reception. The most awe-striking photo ever took place after our reception when we went to the top of a hill and got a photo with the stars and milky way in the background. It is absolutely stunning! Em had a handy kit of emergency supplies including scissors and thread- she helped me bustle my bustle a little higher to not get too much mud on my dress. They were truly wonderful to work with from an initial interview, through the planning process, our big day, and after! They're very responsive in communication, helpful with advice, and super talented photographers who really feel like part of your friends and family at your wedding and don't ever make anything forced or awkward. They rock!

  Amazing Experience with Emily and Steve

  We could not have been happier with our partnership with Emily and Steve. We were firstly provided with their contact through our venue, as they were an approved and highly recommended vendor by other brides. Emily and Steve have the most brilliant energy, and are incredibly organized. They gave us all thorough direction- capturing both posed family portraits and candid active shots. We hired them firstly for our engagement photos and fell in love with their approach. They were a critical part in making our day so special- keeping everyone on time and engaged. With time being of the essence, having a photographer that is direct and follows the timeline is super important. We had no doubt Emily and Steve would do just that, but they even exceeded our expectations. They captured the most beautiful moments between my husband and I as well as with our families. We will cherish their photographs forever and could not have been more pleased with their service. Thank you again Emily and Steve!!!

Em and Steve nailed it - when I look back at our photos I feel like I am stepping back into the day am able to relive the joy that just radiates from the photos. The photos are editorial quality and look like they are from a professional magazine shoot. The Pogos are truly artists. They are also so much fun to work with - completely prepared, professional, light-hearted, and so easy to be around. Our families absolutely loved them day-of (we got married 7 months ago and my dad is still raving about them) and we were all blown away by the final photos. I have three younger sisters and all have said the Pogos will be among the first they call when its time to plan their own weddings. Look no further - it doesn't get any better than the Pogos.

  More than just photographers, we were thrilled to have Em & Steve at our wedding. They were super friendly and fun to have around. Em even sewed up my dress with her emergency pack, which she had in her fanny pack, when my bustle wasn't staying up!

  When we first started planning our wedding a friend gave us great advice to find a photographer that you actually like and enjoy being around because you end up spending your entire wedding day with your photographer. It was true! But aside from being a great, funny and fun-loving couple, The Pogos are amongst the best photographers you could hire to capture your wedding day. I’ve hired photographers before for work projects (nyc fashion photographers) and was blown away with the Pogos talent, equipment and work.
  
  As part of our photography package we also included an “engagement session”, which was great as it gave us a chance to get to know Emily and Steve prior to our wedding day and get some practice in front of their cameras. It felt like just a fun day hanging out with friends in the park. Our photo session was under 2 hours and I was very impressed with how many great shots they got in that short amount of time. I was expecting maybe a dozen or so “good ones”, but ended up with about 100 gorgeous shots! That’s incredible for such a short amount of shooting time. I can only imagine how many beautiful shots we’ll be getting from a full wedding day’s time to work with.
  
  At our rehearsal dinner our guests got to know the Pogos as well and many commented on how fun and entertaining they were. On our wedding day, the Pogos were there taking charge during the formal photos and casually blended in with the party during the reception. I am confident they didn’t miss a beat capturing every moment!

  Em and Steve saved the day when our original photographer backed out a week before. We were lucky enough that they were available on our day. Not only did we find the best photographers, but we made new friends. Em and Steve made us feel comfortable every step of the way, even though it was at the last minute. It took very little time for them to understand exactly what type of reception we were having and what kind of photos we were looking for. Their level of professionalism is amazing and their dedication to the work is fantastic. Em and Steve will do almost anything to get the perfect shot! I could not give a higher recommendation for wedding photographers than Pogo Photo. Investing in photography by them will be one of the best wedding choices you make.

  Working with Em and Steve was a true joy! I knew that photography was one area I didn't want to skimp or compromise. I figured it was one of the few things you take away with you after the wedding day. I wanted to be sure that I would enjoy having these people at my wedding and in my dressing room. I honestly spent more time with them than anyone else on my wedding day and it was like having your friend with you all day. And the photos are amazing. They will be treasured for a long long time. They brought tears to many eyes. Looking through our photos was like getting to relive the whole amazing day. Excellent photos plus excellent people plus excellent professionalism equals one of my best choices for my wedding day.

  We’ve been using the Pogos now for four years to capture our family memories, including our wedding and the birth of our son. I am eternally grateful for the beautiful ways in which they capture moments to be cherished forever. Their pictures aren’t over-edited or posed, just genuine and stunning. They also don't spend all day taking posed portraits because they want you to actually enjoy your own reception! We were torn about doing a "first look," but after talking to them went for it and are thrilled with the results. They’re relaxed and hilarious, bringing out the best in everyone (and definitely making the kiddos smile!) Worth every penny, which is why we keep using them year-after year.

  The Pogos are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They were our wedding photographers at our wedding in South Florida and we couldn't have been happier. First, they are so incredibly easy, resourceful, and helpful when planning your wedding. Of all the photographers I looked into, they had the most straight-forward and best valued packages. No hidden anything! Second, it was great to have two photographers. One with the girls, one with the guys - and then both throughout the rest of the day. They blended into our wedding parties and it was almost like we'd known them forever. But at the same time - they directed us and our family expertly throughout the day to get the best shots. I kept hearing from guests and our wedding party, "Your photographers are so much fun!" And they were! They were also so willing to help with anything last minute. When I took my veil off for some pics, Emily tucked it into her own hair so I wouldn't have to lay it down anywhere and she even helped me bustle my dress! Finally, and most importantly - the pictures are AMAZING. Absolutely gorgeous. We've gotten so many incredible complements and cannot wait for our final album.
  
  If you are looking for a wedding photographer, you can stop looking. Just hire the Pogos. I couldn't recommend them more.

  WE LOVE POGO PHOTO! Choosing Pogo Photo as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Em and Steve were such a pleasure to work with from the start. They immediately answered any and all questions and their pricing was not complicated or ever-changing. On our wedding day it was as though long time friends were photographing us. They made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the cameras and made the day even more fun!
  
  Our entire family continues to rave about how amazing the Pogos were in organizing the family shots. We have a very large family and Em and Steve directed everyone for family photos with ease and a smile. The guests also commented about how fun the Pogos were throughout the night!

  Em and Steve were fantastic! They were easy to talk to and easy to plan with. Most importantly the were with us all day on our wedding day, capturing the best day of our lives beautifully from the morning until after it all ended. They were in touch right away after and our amazing album came only a few short months later. We would recommend them without any hesitation!!

  I found Steve & Em through my best girlfriend who raved about having them at her wedding. After working with them for engagement pics, wedding day, photo booth AND a day after shoot (walking around Charleston the day after in our wedding!) --- I am a huge fan. Their work is artistic and inspired. You will come away with beautiful, timeless images.
  
  What's impressive is how they capture all the details in order to craft a gorgeous story of your day -- you can see this in every single wedding they shoot. You can relax and trust that they will do the same for you... which means one less thing to worry about during the festivities.
  
  On top of creating magical shots of your special day, they make an effort to help you keep it all together -- so little issues don't distract you from focusing on your day, your soon to be husband or wife and being present to take it all in. For example: just as I was about to walk into the church I realized that when I moved a certain way my veil fell back behind my shoulders and I really wanted it to be seen. I mentioned this to my dad moments before we walked down the aisle and Emily popped up with two bobby pins that she pulled out of thin air -- she discreetly tucked them in my hair in a way that kept my veil in the perfect spot the entire wedding! <-- its little stuff like this that makes working with them so wonderful.
  
  Em was also a gem to have around while I was getting ready with my 13!!! bridesmaids. She captured intimate moments between old friends & new ones, helped make sure that the hair and makeup gals kept to their timelines so we weren't incredibly late and I'm sure helped zip a dress or two. She's a total asset to Team Bride --- comforting, calming and getting shit done.
  
  If they are available on your wedding date don't think twice - scoop them up!

  What's impressive is how they capture all the details in order to craft a gorgeous story of your day -- you can see this in every single wedding they shoot. You can relax and trust that they will do the same for you... which means one less thing to worry about during the festivities.
  
  On top of creating magical shots of your special day, they make an effort to help you keep it all together -- so little issues don't distract you from focusing on your day, your soon to be husband or wife and being present to take it all in. For example: just as I was about to walk into the church I realized that when I moved a certain way my veil fell back behind my shoulders and I really wanted it to be seen. I mentioned this to my dad moments before we walked down the aisle and Emily popped up with two bobby pins that she pulled out of thin air -- she discreetly tucked them in my hair in a way that kept my veil in the perfect spot the entire wedding! <-- its little stuff like this that makes working with them so wonderful.
  
  Em was also a gem to have around while I was getting ready with my 13!!! bridesmaids. She captured intimate moments between old friends & new ones, helped make sure that the hair and makeup gals kept to their timelines so we weren't incredibly late and I'm sure helped zip a dress or two. She's a total asset to Team Bride --- comforting, calming and getting shit done.

  We decided to have a destination wedding in St Thomas. As you can imagine this was super hard to plan as we did not get to travel there beforehand so everything was based on pictures I saw. The wedding package we purchased included a videographer and a photographer... After looking at the websites for the approved photographers, I was not too excited about using them as there as no originality. Em & Steve were the photographers at my cousins wedding a few months prior and they did a fabulous job there. I reached out to them to see if they were available and luckily they were. They traveled with us to St Thomas and photographed the entire weekend - from a trip to St John on Friday to Sunday brunch. They were like one of the family! They were super easy to work with and not intrusive...you barely knew they were there! I am so glad we decided to go with them!   Emily and Steve are simply awesome people who are absolute masters of their craft!
  From the moment my now-husband and I met them both, we felt like we were re-connecting with old friends rather than meeting with another vendor. They are easy to talk to, empathetic, and quite knowledgeable about the artistry of photographs and the wedding day in general. Emily's crafted time-line was a life saver the actual day of! I didn't know it then, but if she didn't keep me and my wedding party, along with other vendors, on track with her timeline, the day would have easily gotten off course. What they provide in terms of service and everlasting images for the price they offer is absolutely great. Photographers were high on our priority list when planning the wedding because they will give you a way to relive that special day over and over again - that is exactly what Emily and Steve did, in a way I have never seen before. Their photos are works of art that capture real emotion and feeling. Plus, they were able to catch/shoot scenes/images that I completely missed due to being absorbed in so many other facets of the day. So, that is what you can expect from them - you'll be able to see your wedding from every angle possible, which is delightful. We also chose to get the Pogo Booth, which was such a highlight of our wedding. The guests LOVED it, and now we have a small additional photo book, along with the engagement photo book (which we used as a sign-in at the wedding) and the wedding album, to display (just a little added perk!). My final thought will be directed toward the actual wedding album - talk about works of art that they create for their clients! I am not too sure if you have seen their sample books, but they are simply grand. I have mine displayed in my dining room, and it is a constant reminder of that special day while adding visual beauty.

They know just the right amount of communication tailored to your individual needs. We had the Pogos shoot our wedding in New Hampshire, and we couldn't have asked for more amazing photos. They made us look like models. They offered shooting our rehearsal dinner, which we declined, but they were there promptly the next day to start shooting before we even were getting ready for the wedding. This gave them time to get some beautiful outdoor shots of the Inn where we had the ceremony. They were on top of their game. There was a bit of rain, but it didn't affect anything. They were professional the entire time, and stayed with us while we danced the night away. They never showed a sign of being tired, anxious, bored, or anything of the sort. It felt like they were a part of the guests - they blended right in.

  I was recently married in Islamorada, FL April 22, 2011 and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Pogo Photo. They are clearly the BEST at what they do! From getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception, the entire day was absolutely perfect. I am beyond thrilled that Emily and Steve were there to capture that special day for us. As a team, Emily and Steve work exceptionally well together from bouncing ideas of one another to their competitive nature as to “who got the better shot”. They take the more creative path when shooting photos and capture moments that most people may have missed!
  
  As the bride, there is so much to remember the day of the wedding that it can be overwhelming and hard to just focus on enjoying the day. Emily, having shot many weddings as well as a being a recent bride herself, knew all the right things to say and do. She made it clear she was going to stay by my side and she did just that! She did more than just take great pictures, she gave moral support, advice and suggestions! When my hair was falling out….she even assisted one of my bridesmaids with taking out the countless number of bobby pins!! She did all of this and so much more on a day when she wasn’t even feeling 100% well.
  
  Steve stayed with the guys from the beginning when they were getting dressed, to the ceremony itself, till way passed the late hours of the reception. He was with the guys for more than just the pictures….he helped calm nerves, helped maintain order and keep them on a schedule! He even passed along a “special” boudoir photography album (also taken and created by Pogo Photo) to my soon to be husband while capturing his response on camera!

  BIG FANS HERE! Pogo Photo has been with me on 5 separate occasions over the last 4 years; engagement photos, boudoir session, wedding day, family/generation photos and business head shots. Every event, from the big wedding to the quick head shots, has been nothing less than pleasurable. They take their time with you from the initial consultation to the final review of your photos. Emily and Steve are amazing people and more so amazing photographers. After your first consultation you will feel like old friends. They are super easy to get in touch with whether via email, a quick phone call or text.
  
  They truly become part of your life as they are capturing the most special moments in it. One moment really sticks out in my mind when Pogo Photo was just a face behind a camera to photographer friends that you keep going back to. No, it wasn't because they saw me half naked for the boudoir photo shoot. Nor was it just the fact that they take beautiful, timeless photos. It was their calming personalities that made you feel at ease while being half naked in front of half-strangers. While Emily was giving me pointers on how to pose Steve would volunteer to act them out in his best ultra sexy woman impersonation. If a tall, manly-man in blue jeans can sprawl on a bar top and pose sexy then I could too. He gave me that confidence! Needless to say his lessons produced great shots in the end. (disclaimer: Steve gave me the option to have him sit out during the boudoir shoot if I was uncomfortable. I knew he would be nothing short of a professional and his "male eye" would lend more to the shoot. I was so right!)

  Wonderful experience with Emily

  My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Emily and her husband for our wedding at Hildene in Vermont this August. She is a fabulous photographer and just overall great person. Emily was professional, chill and made us super comfortable from day 1. We couldn’t have picked a better and nicer photographer for our wedding and would recommend her to anyone looking for wedding photography in the Vermont area.
