The best of the best!! (Bilingual too!)

First and foremost, Juan is a good person. He’s a sweetheart, he truly loves what he does, and it shows. I’m SO GLAD we chose him to officiate our wedding. He did a phenomenal job!! Beyond professionalism, he brought the energy and enthusiasm needed to bring alive our ceremony from beginning to end. Many of my guests gave us compliments for choosing him. My ceremony was in English and Spanish. I had family visiting from Bolivia, so it was important to me to have a bilingual ceremony. Juan executed this to perfection. We’re so grateful we chose him. Nothing but amazing things to say!!

Spectacular

My husband and I recently got married in November at the Briarcliff Manor. We picked Juan Toro as our officiant and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Its been almost a month since the wedding, and we are still receiving compliments about the ceremony, specifically about the officiant. Juan Toro did an amazing job, the words he chose were very moving and beautiful, and his positive energy was felt among all the guest and throughout the ceremony.

He did a great job explaining the process to us during our zoom meeting prior to the wedding day. It was a plus that he is bilingual and was able to organize the ceremony in both English and Spanish. He was very accommodating by allowing us to choose the percentage of the ceremony that we wanted in each language. He is very friendly, professional and enthusiastic person who exudes positive energy. We would definitely recommend this officiant to any couple.

Juan was the most energetic and amazing officiant. He took time to understand our needs and crafted a ceremony that was beautiful, loving and funny. I'd definitely recommend Juan if you want a kind, compassionate and overall great experience.

The best officiant around!

Juan was so incredible to work with. He was always available through email and helped lead a beautiful ceremony. His kind and excited spirit radiated the entire time he was with us. I had a few people come up to me after the ceremony saying they wanted him for their wedding, and they weren’t even engaged yet! A lovely person to work with, I would HIGHLY recommend

A Beautiful Ceremony

Juan was such a wonderful person to work with. From the moment we spoke about my wedding day until the day we (finally) signed our marriage certificate. He made our small intimate wedding feel exactly that. With his words, he bought a lot of us to tears. Couldn't have made a better choice.

Absolutely perfect!

After deciding to forego the church ceremony and have everything at our venue - we came across Juan Toro - and never looked back! From initial contact to wedding, he was so attentive and accommodating. We wanted to find an officiant that was bilingual in Spanish and English - and sounded natural speaking both. Juan's tone and demeanor was nothing short of perfection! He worked so closely with us to create the perfect ceremony and we are forever grateful! Best decision I ever made

I was 6 weeks away from my wedding and realized I forgot to book the most important part of the wedding, my officiant. I desperately went on the hunt through the app and sent a mass message to every officiant on the app. I got many responses but Juan’s stood out. It wasn’t his price that stood out, which is extremely reasonable, but it was his genuine and sincere response to my request. I knew from reading that first response that he was a very nice human being. I decided to go with him for his great ratings, price and professionalism. What I didn’t know was how great of an addition he was to the wedding. He was so accommodating to all my requests, communicated throughout the entire process, expressed his excitement for our union, and performed an amazing ceremony full of inspiration, love, faith, and joy. He even takes your marriage certificate and mails it out for you! He also emailed me and left some encouraging and beautiful words. Like this guy is the best! Thank you Juan for being a part of my wedding and for your professionalism throughout this process. You are a gem!

My husband (then fiance) found Juan here on Wedding Wire, and from the moment we met him we felt so at ease with him! He is very sweet, kind, and organized. He officiated our July 2018 wedding, arrived on time, and did a beautiful job! His poems and the overall ceremony felt zen within our outdoor garden setting! Our family was raving about how he performed our ceremony, telling us how beautiful it was! He officiated our ceremony in English and Spanish and it was so seamless! My favorite piece of advice from him was after he pronounces us Husband & Wife and after the first kiss, we face our guests and really take in all the joy of the view of our guests' smiling faces and record that memory in our hearts! Hearing that piece of advice before the ceremony really put me at ease, and set the tone for the day! We highly, highly recommend him!!

From the first contact Juan was a pleasure to work with for our july 2018 wedding in Long Island. Juan really made us feel comfortable and was caring and eager to be part of our big day. On the day of the event he arrived on time and help facilitate the process. He was also able to officiate our ceremony in English and Spanish. I couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Officiant. Not only did he performed a beautiful ceremony but he offered patience, kindness, and warmth during one of the busiest time of our lives. My husband and I hired Juan Enrique Toro from Pura Vida Weddings for our very simple wedding ceremony. He responded to all of our requests quickly and had no issue with us wanting to write much of our own vows. I chose Pura Vida (Juan) because he was affordable, bilingual, and spiritual. He was delightful to work with. He was flexible in not only meeting up but with the ceremony. He gave me a good backbone to work with and I pretty much mashed several ceremony readings into one (we included a lasso ceremony and had parts in english and in spanish). The ceremony turned out beautiful! My mom thoroughly enjoyed his presence, personality, and the way he conducted the ceremony (let's be real, if my mom was touched, then he did a really great job). Communication can lag a little bit so I do recommend to email him (like don't reply to an old email, write a new email) if you haven't heard from him.

My fiance and I reached out to this vendor on several occasions via wedding wire, email, and Facebook. Struggling to find a bilingual officiant, we were hoping he would have an opening and loved his reviews. Weeks later and neither of us has gotten as little as a, "I'm booked" response back. Very upsetting.
