We were so glad to have found Rabbi Lee through family friends! As an interfaith couple, neither of whom are particularly religious, my husband and I were looking for a meaningful ceremony that felt warm and comfortable. After phone and FaceTime conversations with Lee, we felt like he took the effort to get to know us (and our parents, who he met with separately) and what we wanted from our wedding and marriage. Although we don't live in the Philly area, we were able to meet with Lee a couple times in person while we were in town for wedding planning and he was very accommodating to our schedules.

When it came time to develop the actual ceremony, Lee did a great job drafting some beautiful words and worked with us on editing to incorporate specific language that we liked. He also recommended we put thought into a ketubah signing ceremony instead of treating that as a formality -- something we hadn't really thought about, but which turned out to be one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding.

As a rabbi, Lee knows his Jewish wedding ceremony and traditions, but he was more than happy to set many of those aside and accommodate nontraditional ideas. As he told us, there are very few things that MUST be done for a legal wedding.

Lee was warm and funny, on time for all our wedding events, and easy to work with via phone and email. I'd recommend him to anyone getting married in the Philly area, especially interfaith couples.
