Simply The Best!

From the moment we met Rabbi Olshansky, we felt so confident and happy with our decision to work with him. My now husband’s heritage comes from patrilineal descent, therefore making it difficult for us to find a Rabbi that would marry us. However, from the moment we met him Rabbi Olshasnky made us realize that what mattered most was that we loved each other and that he allowed us the opportunity to share our heritage and religion in a way that worked best for us. I’ve been to many weddings in my time and never once have I heard the bride or groom get complemented on their officiant. That was much different with ours. We had so many people come up to us and say how much they loved hearing from him, appreciated the translations, and they really raved about his reading of our personal vows. They attributed our beautiful and memorable ceremony to him and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you Rabbi Olshanksy for being such a warm light guiding us through our new journey into marriage – we appreciate you so much!

Excellent experience

We were referred to Rabbi Olshansky through an organization we contacted and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment he contacted us, the process was very smooth. We met 3 times prior to our wedding and he took the time to really get to know us, and provide valuable, thoughtful, and helpful information. He responded quickly to all of our questions. We are an interfaith couple and he did a fantastic job of incorporating the 2 religions into the service and was very open to the fact that my husband is not Jewish. The ceremony was beautiful and many of our guests commented on how perfect it was. He was a joy to work with.

Awesome Wedding Rabbi

We hired Rabbi O to officiate for our wedding. The best word to describe him is "prepared." Rabbi O took care of all the details so my wife and I didn't have to worry. He brought the Kippahs, the Chuppah, the glass to stomp. He setup the Ketubah, the Chuppah, the officiating table, got the wine. He really took care of everything. He was also invested in our marriage and scheduled three meetings with us prior to the ceremony. We highly recommend Rabbi Olshansky and we're happy we found him.

Summary of Rabbi Olshansky

Rabbi Opshansky was a tremendous help in our wedding. Everything went beautifully in the wedding ceremony and everything was exactly the way we preferred. He let us know of his schedule we let them know ours and we met in the middle. I don’t think I could ask for anybody better exclamation 20 out of 10 stars for sure. Also to add on, he went out of his way to do the bread-breaking for the reception, and also wrote our Ketubah beautifully for us, free of charge. Would HIGHLY recommend

Rabbi Olshansky did an excellent job

Rabbi Olshansky married my wife and I in Orlando in April. He did an excellent job. Throughout the prior 12 months before we got married, Rabbi Olshansky made a number of trips to Orlando to meet with us and get to know us. I really appreciated this. My wife and I are also both Jewish and wanted a slightly more traditional ceremony. Rabbi Olshansky was very knowledgeable about the prayers and traditions required of such a ceremony. He spoke very clear at the ceremony and flawlessly chanted the Hebrew prayers. Finally, he is very personable and legitimately cares to get to know you. I would high recommend Rabbi Olshansky especially to anyone who is looking to get married in the Central Florida area.

A Wonderful Officiant!

Rabbi O. was absolutely incredible as the officiant of our wedding! He took great care to get to know us a couple. Through several meetings with him before the wedding, Rabbi O. was able to learn about us, helping to add an amazing personal touch to the wedding ceremony. At the ceremony, he was organized, caring, and genuinely happy for us on our big day. We couldn't be more grateful that Rabbi O. officiated our wedding. We'll never forget him!

Perfect choice for interfaith wedding

Rabbi Olshansky, from our first introduction via Skype (we live in Texas but our ceremony was in Florida) to our beautiful ceremony by the ocean, was a true gem. We were so fortunate to have found him. At first we thought we might have both a Rabbi as well as a Minister but we both felt so comfortable with Rabbi Olshansky and didn't think we needed anyone else to officiate at our wedding. He is a very warm, witty, kind person and we both feel fortunate to have met him.

We loved working with Rabbi O! He really took the time to get to know us over our skype calls to ensure that his remarks about us would be personal to our relationship. He was flexible on what we wanted to include and what we didn’t. And was extremely responsive on answering emails with questions as well as proof reading our ketubah and programs. We highly recommend him for Jewish or interfaith couples.

Rabbi O was an amazing officiant and person. He met with my (now wife) and our 17 month old daughter (who can be a little inpatient) and spent the time to get to know us and provide a tailored ceremony given our different faiths. He explained everything and helped us have a gorgeous ceremony. I can’t recommend him enough. If you are really looking for someone who actually cares about the couples he marries, then look no further. Thank you for sharing in our special day!

Rabbi O is the BEST! Our original Rabbi (Michael Raab) cancelled on us the day before our wedding. Fortunately our wedding planner The Souire Group and the Four Seasons Hotel found Rabbi O. He met with my wife and I at the hotel and asked us how we met and to describe ourselves and what’s important. I told him that we were being married on my father’s birthday and since my father recently passed away, it was a very special wedding day to honor my dear father. Rabbi O prepared the most wonderful wedding remarks with some special words about my father and his importance to me. Rabbi O had everybody in tears. Him and his wife Rebbetzin O were so friendly and nice and we really enjoyed them. I just wish I went to Rabbi O at first. He is amazing as a wedding officiant and we were blessed He was happy to accommodate us at the last minute.

I was thoroughly impressed by the enthusiasm and detail that Rabbi Olshansky put into our secular wedding vow renewal ceremony. Meetings, research, suggestions and background was knitted together into a truly memorable service. Toss in some good humor and we couldn't have asked for more. Rabbi Olshansky is a gifted man.

Rabbi Olshansky married my husband and I on March 26th this year. We are an interfaith couple (my husband is Jewish and I am a Christian). From the moment we met the Rabbi, we knew we were in the best of hands. We met with the Rabbi 3 times before the wedding to go over every single detail of our ceremony to make sure it was perfect. He took the time to get to know both of us and our families and really made us feel so special. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and Rabbi Olshansky was a big part of that. His words were so sweet and kind, light and funny, and so touching. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house :) I cannot recommend Rabbi Olshansky enough for your wedding. We are forever grateful for the service he provided for us and are so happy we have him in our lives. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Rabbi O did was an excellent officiant for our wedding! My husband and I wanted some of the Jewish traditions embedded in our ceremony, but did not want a full traditional Jewish ceremony as our wedding was an interfaith marriage. Rabbi O was very knowledgeable and respectful of our wishes. He met with us several times to get to know us and understand what we did and did not want to include in our ceremony. My husband and I felt comfortable and at ease with Rabbi O as our wedding officiant! We definitely recommend him!

Rabbi Olshansky was absolutely incredible! He was extremely organized and did not treat as as just another client, but rather a couple who truly wanted to get to know before he officiated. Before the wedding we had three meetings where he would ask us, questions, and give some fun and sometimes challenging "homework" assignments along with passing on many words of wisdom. My husband is not Jewish, and Rabbi Olshansky spent time to explain each step of the ceremony, the wording of everything, and the meaning behind it to make sure he understood each of the steps. In the end our meetings translated into an unforgettable interfaith ceremony, with many personal notes of things he picked up through our shared time together. We received several comments about how beautiful there ceremony was, and what a fantastic job he did.

I truly felt that Rabbi Olshansky wanted to know us as individuals and as a couple during the months prior to the wedding. He wanted to have a personal connection and wanted to share that with our friends and family in his remarks, which were very kind and expressed some humor. He was very open to our vision of the ceremony and provided us with a number of options that fit within our vision for our special day. He couldn't have been more friendly to our guests. For length of service and purely based on personal preference, I would only have the Ketubah read in Hebrew or English, but not both as it started to feel long. I liked that Rabbi Olshansky is a Rabbi at a synagogue and a professor and not just a traveling wedding Rabbi. Compared to other Rabbis, he was very reasonably priced and willing to work within our budget.
