  10 Year Anniversary

  We are absolutely grateful to Ramsey Farms for all the work they put in to help us celebrate our 10 year Anniversary.
  
  Starting off, the Pavillion is extravagant and more beautiful than we imagined. IDEAL for a Country Couple! They had everything set up so that all we had to do was bring our decorations. The food was so good, and refreshing to have the catering done for us so that we didn't have to fret over it.
  The Manager and her help are very friendly and so easy to get along with. My daughter even got to make a new friend who has the purest heart I have ever seen. He entertained my kids all night, and it's a memory my daughter will always cherish. He even joined in with my kids to help put my wedding decor away for me. As the evening progressed, we got to open the doors and breathe in the beauty of what a country life is all about. You can't buy such beauty that comes naturally with this place. Speaking of money, the price is VERY reasonable for everything we had done, whereas most places would charge an arm and a leg. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I can't express enough how blessed I felt yesterday, enjoying such a divine place. If you leave this place unhappy when your done, check yourself in the mirror. Because they go such lengths for a fee you can't get anywhere else. I had to laugh when I was asked if a lady could bring her 3 year old in. We said the more the merrier, because we believe in being welcoming with a smile, and it was a family function where even my kids were still running and playing. The only complaint I have is not being able to live their myself. 🤣 To take something generations old with history and depth. And allow strangers in to enjoy it.. Is truly a blessing. My family was beyond impressed, and I have a strong feeling we will all be back! Thankyou so much for making my Anniversary, an Anniversary I will always cherish. My heart melted with absolute bliss. Thankyou again!!!!!!

  Amazing!!!

  The staff was amazing, they took care of any issue we had, helped set up, kept everything clean and organized! The food they providing was delicious! The venue held all of my guests comfortably. Absolutely amazing!!

  Amazing amazing amazing!

  We absolutely loved our experience with Ramsey Farms!! Everything was taken care of and we had access to everything. My husband and I and Some family chose to stay in the houses they have available and was not disappointed. They are very helpful in providing not only ideas but support. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rustic style/barn experience.

  Beautiful wedding venue

  Ramsey farm was very accommodating and made sure everything went as smooth as possible without and worry on my end. They all make sure everything is taken care of and think of all the little details you wouldn’t think to think about. They made my wedding day worry free. I will forever be grateful I had my wedding there and was lucky enough to have found such a great venue. They worked well with my other vendors to make sure everything went as planned and everything was how it should be. It is very well taken care of and is beautiful rain or shine. It rained on my wedding day and they were great about back up plans and how to make it all run well. It is a great venue if you are from out of town and want your family and wedding party to have a place to stay during your wedding weekend. All of the houses and rooms are very well taken care of and beautiful. It is a great place to get ready day of and have room for your wedding party as well as family to get ready. I can’t say enough great things about Ramsey Farm!

  We loved this venue so much! It was a beautiful place to get married! We enjoyed getting ready in the houses you can rent! They felt like home. Deb, the coordinator that sets everything up through Ramsey's, is very nice and helpful. We had an amazing wedding at a beautiful place!

  Beautiful Country Setting

  We were married here on 12/13/14. It was absolutely beautiful country setting! Before I booked the pavilion Deb was very nice and accommodating letting me see everything! Once I was there I was in love! The pavilion is beautiful, and so are all the houses you can rent to stay the night in! We rented all the houses for our family to stay in! The food was great! Deb and the others who helped with everything were just wonderful to work with! I would recommend this for anyone looking!!!!

  Rustic Wedding Venue

  If you're looking for a rustic wedding venue at an affordable price, you can't go wrong with Ramsey's Farm. We also chose to use their catering service, which included the services of setting up/clean up, the meals price per person consisted of appetizers/main course/three sides/drinks, the bar, tables with chairs, and cleaning staff. Originally, we thought the price per meal was a little pricey, but were sure we wanted to use their catering services when found out all the perks, and this non-profitable organization donates any extra funds back to the Mount Ayr School District. My new husband and I have no regrets uses this place as our wedding venue!

  Very poor management

  Was not impressed we had our wedding there on 6/18/22 and and Deb had family in one of the houses their kids were running around the reception uninvited eating our food and cake without permission as they were unsupervised the older boy was in a Spider-Man costume stopped our DJ in the middle of a song looking for his sister turned the air conditioning of at 10 pm so was super uncomfortable and let’s not forget the naked little boy in the window showing his but that our photographer has to edit out the bartender was poorly dressed as in shirtless then in a wife beater as the night went on and was very disrespectful in giving us our bill half way through our reception cause apparently it couldn’t wait till the morning when we agreed to meet and take care of the bill I would not recommend this place

  The Ramsey Farm Pavilion & Inn's reply:

  Several comments on this review are wrong. They came to the houses 6 hours before check in time. I let them go ahead and told them it was not set up yet. As for the air conditioning..4 air conditioning units were on ..their guests were complaining of being too cold. Plus they had left the doors open while they were on...and it was not turned up until about 11PM when the dj quit playing music. The boy who they say showed his butt in a window was a 4 year old with khaki shorts on. Not naked. They received the bill at the end of the night..when it was actually due the day of the wedding ..before it started. Their kids ran all over the Farm..with out supervision. It is too bad that they felt this way over a child eating one of their cupcakes. But we did the best we could with what we had to work with. In 10 years I have never had this much of a problem with the wedding ppl.
