My husband Matt and I got married at Revolution Brew Pub this past weekend, October 28, 2023. If we could give Revolution Brewery the whole staff, our coordinator Steph, and event captain, Ashley 100 stars we would! Steph made the planning process fun, seamless, she was supportive, trustworthy, reliable, prompt, and kind! On the day of Ashley was incredible! We had an issue with our dj and she as well as Steph were INCREDIBLE! They made sure that we were calm, helped us get it figured out, all while working with our photographer, the florist, and making sure that our guests were attended to. The venue is just gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was efficient and professional! One thing my now husband was worried about was the turnover in between the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. When I say that we blinked and the place was set, I'm not kidding! They are so efficient and we loved the brewery tours they gave during the cocktail hour! It was a great idea for making sure the bar area was not as crowded during the venue turnover, though I honestly think even if people hadn't taken the brewery tour it would have been completely fine! We received so many compliments from our guests and wedding party about the venue, the staff, Ashley and Steph! They made our wedding dreams come true! Steph was just so chill and fun to work with! If you're looking for a gorgeous space with an incredible event staff for an awesome price, Revolution is your place!!!!! We had our wedding reception at Revolution and could not have had a better experience! Craft beer is one of our shared hobbies, so we knew we wanted to celebrate at one of our favorite breweries in the city. The brewpub in Logan Square is beautiful, and the perfect size for ~90 guests. Most importantly, the Revolution team is incredible -- from start to finish, Steph, Kat, Ashley, and the rest of the events staff were an absolute dream to work with and made the whole experience stress-free. They are extremely communicative, answering tons of questions in the year leading up to the wedding, and their attention to detail ensured every aspect of the evening went smoothly. Our event captains handled all set up and break down of décor and coordination with vendors, and Rev has plenty of cake stands, card boxes, table numbers, etc. available to use. The in-house catering menu is fantastic – they were able to provide multiple vegetarian and gluten free options easily, and we got a ton of compliments on the food. Have your wedding here!

Revolution was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The crew at Revolution are amazing and made everything from planning to day of activities a breeze (shout out to Steph + Ashley!!). The BrewPub is such a unique venue in itself - the wood and brick accents are so beautiful and the space itself is portioned perfectly for a dinner and dancing event.

The food was AMAZING and everyone loved the dinner + dessert options. We even had brewery tours during our cocktail hour! When looking for vendors, Rev had great recommendations and truthfully everyone we spoke to was excited to be quoting to work at that venue, so again, props to the Rev team who are incredibly awesome! Their team did all of the set up and break down and packaged everything for us to take home.

Food, venue, staff = 10/10

Our wedding experience at Revolution was amazing. Steph, Katie, and the rest of the RevBrew crew were all exceptional. Steph truly helped make our entire wedding planning process a lot more stress free. She answered our many, many questions and helped us brainstorm solutions throughout the whole year+ long planning process. Katie was the event captain for our rehearsal and the day of our wedding, and she handled every last detail with grace. The rest of the staff were all on top of their game at all times. We feel incredibly lucky that from the moment we stepped in to the building on our wedding day every single thing was taken care of and our only responsibility was to have a great time (and we did). They remembered every detail even when we didn't. Not to mention, the food was delicious! If you're looking for an inviting venue with great Chicago vibes, that is going to take great care of you and each of your guests, this is your spot! Couples! Book Revolution Brewing for your wedding - you will not regret it! Steph and her team are amazing, and basically act as day-of coordinators. They helped our planner set up all of our decor, including hanging a neon sign from the ceiling! We did a menu tasting a few months before and were able to choose so many delicious items for our cocktail style dinner option. All of the food was delicious, but the mac and cheese... OMG - I still have dreams about it. The Brewer's Lounge space is gorgeous on its own, so we only added minimal decor just to personalize it a bit for us. If you are overwhelmed at the thought of hiring a bunch of different vendors, look no further. Rev has all your food, desserts, decor, linens, flatware and booze in house. My husband and I, and our 100 guests had the most incredible time. 10/10, 5 stars, GET MARRIED HERE.

I truly cannot recommend Revolution enough as a wedding venue. First, they do EVERYTHING - tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware, glassware, candles/ candle holders, staff, food, and alcohol (beer, wine, and spirits)- all that's left is florist, entertainment, and photography. We got so many compliments on our food - people are still talking about it 2 months later. Second, you get Steph. Steph is truly the reason I didn't lose my mind during wedding planning. She has the most kind and calm demeanor, and is truly a professional problem solver. We asked SO many questions, and she always had an answer for everything. They were flexible about pretty much everything we asked for (within reason). I cannot stress enough how smooth everything was. I was so nervous when I started wedding planning after hearing horror stories from friends and family members about how stressed they were. Because of Steph (and the whole team), I never ever ever felt stressed. Even when we arrived 20 minutes late to the venue on the day of our wedding (Friday Chicago traffic, ya know). Third, the day before our wedding, we dropped off all our decorations (literally an entire Rav4 FULL of stuff), and talked through the team about where we wanted everything to be. We came in and everything was better than we could have imagined. It was so gorgeous, and perfect. My father-in-law made a HUGE wood arch for us to get married in front of. They let us store it there for a week. For take down, they took care of everything, and packed it up (even saved all the bouquets and put them back into vases with water). Then we picked everything up before leaving for our honeymoon. Fourth, it's really cool to get married in an awesome Chicago brewery. Our guests still talk about going on a brewery tour during the room flip (even the older guests that are more "traditional"). Also, theY supplied so many bartenders - multiple people commented how they were never waiting for a drink (we had about 150 guests). If you are looking for a unique wedding venue that comes with the most amazing staff, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Revolution.

We chose Revolution Brewpub for our recent wedding and couldn’t be happier with our decision! From the very start, our event coordinator Steph was incredible to work with. She was always quick to answer our questions and was amazing at keeping us organized with all of our planning. The venue had a large selection of decorations that we could choose from; we ended up on having to bring a handful of items ourselves. The food selection was great. We chose to go with more casual options (brisket and sliders); all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. For the day of, everything was handled by the venue and our day-of coordinator Kat. We only had to drop off our decorations the day before with a short list of directions about placement. The staff set up everything for the ceremony by the time of our arrival, and quickly reset the room for the reception during the cocktail hour. Kat was amazing at keeping us on schedule and making sure we were well taken care of (with a beer in hand). The venue itself looked great and was the perfect size for our smaller wedding (~75 people). Everything was amazing, including the price. The price was much better than most of the other venues in the area, many of which didn’t include food, beverages, or serving staff. We couldn’t recommend this venue more!

TL;DR: hire them for amazing food, beers, warm atmosphere, and full service, anxiety-reducing staff. Best bang for your buck ever.

Like so many others, I cannot recommend Steph and her team at Revolution Brewpub enough. It was the first and only place we contacted; that's how much we wanted our reception there! I needed a place that cut out many of the middlepeople that seem to pop up while wedding planning, and Steph and her team fit the bill, providing everything from linens to table numbers to even a card box. They set up all of our decorations exactly how I outlined, and even tore them down at the end of the night. Communication was open, prompt, and extremely helpful: we had some snags along the way (Covid couples, am I right?), and they were flexible and worked with us to make sure that everything still went smoothly. AND THE FOOD. All 50 of our wedding guests are still talking about the cheese curds and the desserts. Even their basic food and beverage packages are stellar. Staff were professional, personable, and efficient all night. The space itself is Chicago-style rustic with a fantastic wooden bar, and the wall of fairy lights made for some great pictures.

Overall, if you're looking for a warm, comfy, unpretentious atmosphere for a party of a wedding, I highly recommend Revolution and Steph. They'll work with you, they'll take care of you, they'll feed you, and you'll have the best night of your life.

I could rave for paragraphs about how great our experience with Revolution Brewing was. Like many, our date was affected by COVID-19 and we ended up having to move it three times. Each time, Revolution was wonderfully patient and accommodating with us. We had our reception at Revolution Brewing Brewpub and it was the perfect size for our 70 person event. The food is fantastic, we got so many compliments from our guests about how good it was. The drinks were fantastic as well, their standard package includes almost all of their craft beer and our guests really enjoyed that as well. You can add on a brewery tour which really makes the event unique from other standard weddings. Steph and Ashley were a dream to work with!!

Working with the Revolution events team was an amazing experience and we're so grateful for the amazing day they facilitated for us. We worked with Steph through all our planning and Kat served as our event captain who managed the flow day of. They were both amazing and brought such a calm vibe while also being so detail-oriented. Planning and day-of coordination was a breeze thanks to them. The venue was also a clear hit with our guests, and we got so much great feedback about the food, beer and beauty of the space. We'll always feel so lucky we got to kick off our marriage here. Thanks Revolution!!

Holy guacamole (which, by the way is delicious), our wedding at Revolution was amazing! Of course, the food and beverages were delicious, but Steph, Kat and the rest of the team at Revolution goes above and beyond to make sure your event is flawless. Working with Revolution was seamless, both in the months leading up to our wedding and the day-of. Every detail you can think of is taken care of for you, promptly and, most of the time, without you even knowing. I didn't have to worry about anything except having fun, and I can't recommend this venue and its team more highly.

Steph and her team were so great to work with from start to finish. They added zero stress to the wedding planning process. If anything they eased our concerns and had wonderful suggestions for the flow of the day and seating arrangements. We had a blast and from what we hear so did all of our guests. We are so happy we chose to get married at Revolution and plan to pop in for a beer to re-live the memories on the reg :)

Revolution provides a stylish and hip all-in-one space and coordination service to couples. Steph Aksland and her on-site team coordinated the ceremony on site, traffic flow, we didn't even need a wedding coordinator, and we weren't even stressed. Our guests raved about the service and the food. This decision was the foundation of our best day ever!

My husband and I wanted a low key wedding a venue with character. The first place we viewed was the Brewer’s Lounge at Revolution, and nothing else compared.

It had everything we wanted. Location, charm, food/drink quality, staff...everything was amazing. We worked primarily with Steph leading up to the wedding and Cat was our point of contact for the ceremony and reception day. They were amazing!

Steph was quick to answer any questions I had during the planning process, and gave us advice and guidance throughout the process. Both of them were so organized - the event went so smoothly that it went by way too fast! The ceremony and reception were in the same space and they flipped the room so flawlessly that I honestly didn’t event notice until it was done! The space has a cozy, rustic feel and was perfect for our wedding size!

We had a great experience with Revolution Brewing for our wedding. The Brewers Lounge space was beautiful and the venue and staff made everything so simple. Their staff took care of so much and made the planning process and day of easier on us. We were able to leave the decoration, set up, and coordination with other vendors to them. They made sure we had food and a drink in our hands throughout the night and we felt very cared for! Food and drink were delicious! Can't thank Revolution staff enough!

We held our wedding reception in the Brewer's Lounge and could not be more happy with everything about our experience with Revolution! Steph was immediately communicative and helpful, even when we took around 6 months away from planning to actually settle on our venue. Once we selected Revolution as our venue things proceeded so smoothly and through every step I felt we were in good hands leading up to the event. It was also so reassuring to know that in choosing Revolution we got not only the beautiful venue space, but also all the food and beverages handled so we didn't have to find additional vendors.

We elected to do our decorations and table flower arrangements DIY and expected we would spend the morning of our wedding day at the venue setting this all up. Much to our surprise Steph and Lauren did all of this for us, putting together the most beautiful flower vases (far far better than we ever could have), and getting everything set up so all we had to do was show up and enjoy the evening.

Throughout the event there were absolutely no issues, all the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and there were absolutely no hiccups. Of course the beer was fantastic, and we were pleased to be able to offer a full bar for guests. I also completely lost count of all the compliments we received on the food (especially the veggie burger and mac n cheese!), and we loved the selection of desserts that we were able to offer.

Selecting Revolution as our venue was probably the best choice we made in our wedding planning. The whole process was so un-stressful, Steph, Lauren and the entire Revolution staff was the best and worked super well with our outside vendors (DJ and photographer), the cost was very reasonable (and felt downright like a steal based on how wonderful everything was). I definitely recommend Revolution if you're looking for a professional, laid back, incredible venue for your wedding!

Steph and her staff are perfect. They nailed everything perfectly. We were looking for a venue that didn't require a lot of work form our end, and they just took it to the next level. The food and alcohol was amazing. Even their liquor was excellent. They set up the decor and everything. I literally dropped off our decor gave a run down on generally how I like everything and they set it all up for you. it doesn't get any easier than that. They were super responsive to all my questions, very professional, and so easy to work with. It was insane how much we got for the price. At the end we were slightly below the food minimum, and Steph emailed us with some really cool options we can add on to hit our minimum. Considering the venue is the biggest thing in planning a wedding, this was the easiest part to manage.

We had a very short engagement (4 months) and planned our wedding in under 2 months with Steph's help at the Brewpub. We knew we wanted a casual affair (buffet style, emphasis on party, lots of dancing) and the space was perfect for that. We didn't have to do much in terms of decor because it already feels so adorned - in a good way. The dark wood and large bar made it feel like a homey, cozy affair - no pomp and circumstance... just what we wanted. Steph and all the staff were super attentive during the party and I gave little to no direction on many aspects because I implicitly trusted them to knock it out of the park - and they did! So happy we said 'I do' here and had the best night of our lives dancing and being with our family and friends without worrying even a tiny bit about the venue, the food (which was awesome!) or anything else. Would highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to nit-pick or totally control every aspect - because they really know what they're doing.

My husband and I decided to go with Revolution Brewing for our wedding after meeting with Steph and reviewing the amazing package they offer. The food was AMAZING - we received numerous compliments on both the quantity and quality! We loved that they offered a full bar in addition to their amazing beers. They even made our wedding cake - lemon with raspberry preserves! We had both our ceremony and reception on site. The room was beautifully decorated and flipped within the 10 minutes we went to take pictures following the ceremony. Steph was prompt to respond to all of our e-mails and Kat was super helpful as our day of coordinator. Their preferred vendor list was fantastic and made planning a breeze. We are thrilled with our decision to host our wedding at Revolution and look forward to celebrating many anniversaries to come with a pint!

This place made my wedding day everything I had ever hoped it would be. If I could give them a 10 on flexibility, I would. Anything I wanted, they were willing to accommodate with no problems. They were so chill but also knew what they were doing. Stephanie and Lauren helped me destress and focus on enjoying my day. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is so awesome and fun and the place is just incredible. This place was also affordable and all of the food and drinks are taken care of in house, so we didn't have to get an extra caterer. The food is incredible and the drinks are obviously amazing. Great place for a fun, beer focused yet so wonderfully classy wedding. The best choice for our wedding day!!

I would rate the team at Revolution way higher, if it were even possible. Working with Steph and her team were so professional and helpful, even when it turned out that Revtoberfest was moved to right outside the venue. They had extra staff waiting for our guests who escorted them straight to the door, which was a concern as most of our guests were from out of state. Obviously, the food and drinks were excellent and the flip from ceremony to dinner to reception space was seamless. I cannot recommend them enough!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I had my wedding here in November and couldn't be happier with how things went. Meg was the event coordinator when we booked the venue (she had since been promoted), but the folks who took her place (and who worked with me closer to the wedding date) seem to be equally responsive, attentive, and easy to work with. Revolution also caters the food (which was delicious) and can provide a ceremonial cake (which we had many compliments on). The only drawback in my experience is the size of the bride's room - which is basically a bathroom. (The bridesmaids and I certainly had some "slapstick" moments in there accidentally triggering the self-flushing toilet and sink prior to the ceremony. Which, honestly, was great for relieving pre-wedding jitters.) This was a minor drawback for an overall great experience. For brides looking for a unique venue, don't pass this one up.

Revolution Brewing Wedding Review: 5.20.16

There are few words that will do justice to the unbelievable experience we had getting married at the Brewers' Lounge. From the very first inquiry e-mail to last call on the night of the wedding, we experienced exceptional service at every step. Meg made the booking process painless and easy to navigate, providing excellent vendor recommendations and tremendous flexibility. The day-of event team managed to anticipate our needs before we even recognized them, making the day flow smoothly from start to finish. Aside from the total competence on all levels, they are just plain fun to work with- they took an interest in us as a couple, and in the details of our event.

Our event was flawless from start to finish. We received rave reviews on nearly every aspect of the wedding: the beauty of the space, the delicious appetizers and amazing entrees, the smooth transitioning of the space from ceremony to reception, the brewery tours, the delicious beer, and of course, the rocking dance floor. To us, the greatest measure of the success of the event are the number of "Best. Wedding. Ever." comments we got that night, as well as have continued to flow in since. Revolution Brewing provided an intimate, unique, and beautiful venue, and phenomenal event team who truly made our dreams come true.

As longtime fans of Revolution, we jumped at the chance to have our wedding at their upstairs space at the brewpub on Milwaukee. Anyone who's ever been to the restaurant already knows that the beer and food are incredible, but Meg, Stephanie, and the rest of the events team made sure that the entire wedding experience went off without a hitch. We didn't even need to hire a wedding planner - they took care of setting up decorations, flipped the room after the ceremony, took our guests on brewery tours, and made sure that the whole night ran smoothly. It was the greatest night of our lives, and the Revolution team ensured that everything went perfectly.

Leading up to the wedding, communication was quick and all of our questions got answered - very reassuring when you’re freaking out about having forgotten something a few days before the wedding! The tasting was great - we got to try pretty much everything that isn’t on the regular menu, which made us feel very good about our food choices. And the venue itself is terrific - the dark wood, the giant windows, and the furniture mean that very little in the way of decorations is needed - it already looks incredible.

I can’t imagine having gotten married anywhere else!
