Even though my soon to be and I have not had our wedding there just yet I can say that Denise has already become a huge part of our lives. She is so sweet, supportive and very accommodating; her heart is so big she oozes. Hehehe. If you are looking for place to have party of any kind Roberts Mansion is the place. A vintage wedding, Christmas party, anything there is the place. -

Denise and her staff did a phenomenal job! From the day we scheduled a viewing of the mansion & property and throughout the planning stages Denise (wedding coordinator/business owner) was great help. Our daughter lives local, however we are out of state, so we stayed at the Mansion as well. Such a beautiful home with well appointed suites. Denise assisted us with the selection of floral that we purchased, and they took over and handled the decorating !!! They have several serving trays, candle holders, fine china, wedding arch, and SO MANY other accessories that most venues don't provide including a coordinator. They were very accommodating as we hosted a rehearsal dinner on the property with full use of the main kitchen and laundry room. The wedding & reception went very smoothly and we received several compliments about the staff and venue itself. I highly recommend this venue, you will be VERY happy with your choice to book. -
Rachel Sent on 07/06/2018We LOVED our wedding at the Roberts Mansion. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, and we had the best time. Denise and her team were excellent to work with. The changes they are making are great. The mansion is beautiful, the upstairs areas to get ready in are fun and accommodating. There are so many cute touches that Denise does for the wedding, from providing the juice for mimosas, having an awesome welcome sign, to being willing to get things we may have needed, she was awesome. I love the many great places for photos for not only us but for our guests. We liked how the venue was outdoors and open but allowed for a lot of privacy still. The environment was relaxed and down to earth. We liked how everything was natural and classic, not overly done, or too much. The mansion and grounds are naturally beautiful so we felt no need to provide further decorations, the facilities are nice, and everything went perfectly. The location, being so close to downtown, was ideal for our out of town guests, which were many. Some were able to walk to the venue from where they stayed, and others took advantage of Uber. We even had our rehearsal dinner at the mansion, directly after our rehearsal, and that was great. I felt like we were truly able to appreciate the venue and spend time there. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or event. I seriously cannot express how much fun we had.I figured I would have fun at my wedding, but I expected more stress and that I would be too busy saying hi to everyone to fully enjoy the day, However, we both felt relaxed, we had time to talk to people, and we were able to enjoy our wedding with a lot of laughs and fun. There isn't a thing I would have changed, and Denise, her staff, our amazing wedding party, and the Roberts Mansion are a huge reason why the day was a success.

Kristy was such a great help giving us guidance and on the day she was a key player in making sure things got done and the stress was off of us! They were also very affordable and flexible in letting us use our own caterer and alcohol. The cost also included all tables and chairs which was not very common among other venues we looked at. And on top of it it’s gorgeous which made for great wedding photos!!

to say that I felt my wedding was beautiful. The Gardens looked like a fairy tale. I am not from Spokane. I live in California so I had to rely heavily on reviews with all my vendors.
Denise is the most awesome person to work with. She went the extra mile and them some. She decorated our gazebo for us with the material I had left her. She also put votives and candles for us which added such a touch of class. Our vintage wedding in the gardens was absolutely gorgeous. Denise was always there to answer my questions. Phone call, text or emails. She always responded with a helping word. I am so happy I had my Wedding here and so grateful for all your help. It was my dream come true. Thank you.

We scheduled an event here, paying with 3 separate checks. We were told the deposit was refundable. Then, after paying were were told there was a tax on the deposit. We had asked about it several times before, and the amount were were told hadn't changed, nor had it included tax. Their website didn't (and still doesn't) include the tax.
When we called the event off, one of the parties received $800 (50% of the total, but $200 more than their deposit) and the other two parties received nothing. Denise (in charge of the mansion events) told us only half of the deposit was refundable. It has now been months, and I still don't have my share back, and the other party only got $200 back from the extra $200 they were sent.
Don't trust these people under any circumstances. They deceive, lie, and won't even refund people that write them checks.Roberts Mansion's reply:
Hello Adam:
I can understand that your upset but we did return 50% of your money which is what your contract states upon cancellation. We were contacted by your ex fiance that stated to send her the money and that she would return your portion to you. If you would of contacted us at the same time we would of sent two checks individually, but we were told to just send the whole amount to her. I was contacted in April regarding the cancellation and a check was sent the next day. I was contacted by Erin that she did not receive the check and we immediately put a stop payment on the check and sent a new one out. The whole process took less then a month. The check cleared in April and now in May your are contacting us. We abided by the contract and the check has been cashed.
Regarding the tax situation you were given the amount with tax but you disregarded that information. All businesses in Washington state are required to collect sales tax. When you did not pay the sales tax I stated that you could make up the difference when you paid your remaining deposit.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and am truly sorry that your upset and feel cheated but I have to abide by the contract.
