  Renewal of wedding vows

  If you would like the wedding of a lifetime , with amazing memories you will cherish for ever then I can highly recommend Anna . From conception to the big day Anna organised everything . We put our trust in her completely , taking her advise and ideas on board . She was amazing and it was a day my wife and I will never forget . My friends and family were so blown away that my daughter is now planning her wedding with Anna for 2020 .

  Most Awesome Re-Wedding and Adventure!

  There are many wedding planners in Santorini and after reviewing several they were all seemingly the same and the packages seemed unoriginal. So I asked the hotel where we were staying to recommend someone, and they referred me to Anna Vafeiadou at Santorini Weddings: www.santoriniweddings.com
  I went to her site and it was very professional and well detailed. I emailed her and asked about her services and we began emailing back and forth and quickly and painlessly, our ceremony was planned. Ours was different than most weddings because you see, we had already been married for almost 30 years and we wanted our 30th anniversary to be so special in beautiful Santorini, Greece and we wanted a ceremony to renew our vows. Anna was fun to work with and not pushy – she didn’t try to make us take something that we didn’t want and she allowed us to swap out a service in our package that we didn’t want for something else that we did (that was not in our package) at no extra charge. You do have to check with her on the specific items because some things can be changed and some cannot, but she is very detail oriented down to the last detail. She can offer so much information that others did not.
  Anna quickly became a trusted long distance “pen-pal” that I felt comfortable with completely. We planned everything months in advance and then I just went on with life, and just before our trip, she contacted me to finalize anything else we might need and to make sure we were all set. Needless to say, everything was perfect and went off without a hitch! And it was a ton of fun! We enjoyed writing our own vows and the authentic Greek musicians and the Celebrant who officiated the service seemed to enjoy our vows and he was so kind – we had a wedding in Greek – and in English! This was very special to us, as my husband’s father was born in Greece. The memories from that ceremony, the evening, our dinner, the sunset, the fireworks, everything was so special and tailored to us that we will never forget that special time, as we go forward for our next 30 years! Thanks Anna!

  I would highly recommend to any bride!

  I can't brag enough! She really cares about making your day even more special than you can imagine and is so organized. She's not even my planner but I wish I would have found her 30 days before my wedding!!! She is so quick to respond and completely professional, again I can't brag enough and how I wish I would have hired her from the beginning! I'm pretty detail oriented and waited about a week for my current wedding planner to reply to an issue, kills me inside but Anna took care of the issue for me within a day!

  Amazing and memorable experience!

  I can't say enough to describe our wedding experience. Anna and her team went all out to make sure that everything was taken care of and running smoothly. My husband and I flew in to Santorini from Canada and basically had nothing to do but get dressed and show up for our beautiful wedding. Everything we needed, including her very professional and friendly photographer was available. I recommend her wedding planning services wholeheartedly!

  Amazing wedding vow renewal

  Anna and her team were amazing for my wedding vow renewal. She was very responsive especially with a big time difference as I’m located in NYC. Although my wedding vow renewal was small with just my husband and I, Anna treated my event with great priority and I felt like a VIP. The day was beautiful, we were taken care of and I couldn't have had a better moment in Santorini with my husband without her.
  
  She even helped outside of the vow renewal with arranging island tours for us so we were able to maximize our stay in Santorini.

  Anna and her team were amazing for my wedding vow renewal. She was very responsive especially with a big time difference as I’m located in NYC.   Intimate Wedding Ceremony

  We hired Anna as our wedding planner about a year out from our wedding date. Email communication with Anna was excellent. She always replied within a couple of hours or sooner, despite the 5 1/2 hour time difference. She was professional and answered all of my questions, no matter how silly they were, she never made me feel like they weren't important. I never met Anna personally, her assistant took care of our wedding ceremony. Everything went smoothly. My only issue was that we did not have a rehearsal so we were a little confused as to how things were going to go the day of but it was a very small wedding with just myself and husband so it didn't really require a rehearsal. The next day we had to meet her assistant at the town hall to get our marriage certificate and it took a very long time. We were there for a few hours but I understand that that was no fault of his. We received our wedding photos and video within a month of the ceremony. There was some issues with the photos but Anna rectified it quickly for us. I do feel as though we paid quite a bit for such a small wedding but we got exactly what we wanted and have no regrets with hiring Anna and her team.

  No COVID flexibility

  We signed a contract in January 2020 before the pandemic for a September 2020 wedding. When the date got closer, the borders for Greece were shut down to US citizens and remained shut down into 2021 when we decided to cancel.
  Anna told us in September 2020 to go through Canada, which wasn’t a legal method of entering Greece. We would still have to go through immigration which would clearly show we are US Citizens not allowed in the country. I should have seen the red flags right there.
  We were told we would have to pay an additional 500 euro fee to reschedule in 2021 which we did. I had also put down a 60 euro makeup deposit meant to hold my place. We decided to cancel due to COVID and not foreseeing that June 2021 would be the end of this. Millions of people have died and we don’t want to be careless.
  Anna refused to give us even the makeup deposit back. I plan on going through an international dispute process considering we couldn’t have travelled even if we wanted to (despite Anna’s advice to have us get on a plane through another country which is clearly stated to be illegal). There was no grace given considering the events happening in the world. Unfortunately, this is a trying time for most people, but the way businesses react to a pandemic is very telling. We don’t care about the money, we care about the principle.

  Stay away! - poor experience

  STAY AWAY!! - We had an absolutely poor experience with this company. A total lack of consideration in these times of COVID and an absolutely appalling MONEY GRABBING approach.
  
  We booked our wedding ceremony package, and not even after a full day when lockdowns began happening, we asked for our booking to be cancelled - as it was not safe for our family to go to Greece. To this, the owner was TOTALLY NON CONSIDERATE, and absolutely REFUSED to refund the booking when ONLY A FEW HOURS HAD GONE BY!!!
