Working with Sean as our wedding photographer was such a great experience for my wife and I. All of the attention to detail that Sean gave during the days leading up to the wedding made it so we did not need to worry about much when it came to pictures. He has the bride and grooms best interests in mind when figuring out a time line for who should be pictured during the big day. We actually did not want to do a first look, but with the time frame we had getting married at the venue, we really had no choice but to do one. Needless to say, Sean made our first look one of the best things that I can remember from the wedding! We can't wait to see some of the creative shots that came up with throughout the day as well. We would 100% recommend Sean to be your photographer for your wedding!Sean Gallant Photography's reply:

Sean is one of those people who makes you feel more comfortable with every click of the camera, to the point it seems like it’s not even there. We posed, skipped, I kissed my husband, even snort laughed some, with ease. He took pics in places where there was foot AND car traffic but they don’t appear in the photos. Excellent silhouettes I never would have thought of. His creativity, ability and personable nature really stood out above all else. And when I say all else? He has a whole lot more going for him as well. We shot on location in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The colors he made pop like I never thought possible. The modern photos with the 500 year old architecture, just stunning. Wow. PS. No make up, no photoshop. Still so confident with these pics.Sean Gallant Photography's reply:

We booked Sean shortly after getting engaged in the fall, but finally had the pleasure of seeing him at work for our engagement shoot over the weekend. We were nervous to be in front of the camera, but Sean put us both at ease. He gave direction but wasn't pushy or bossy. He went with the flow and we had an amazing time. Communication beforehand was easy and he's very budget friendly. Our engagement pictures came out so beautifully, everyone we’ve been showing has been raving! We can't wait for our wedding and to see what amazing shots he takes!Sean Gallant Photography's reply:

Julie Sent on 02/06/2018We used Sean for our wedding and engagement photos and honestly could not be happier with them! They are incredible photos!! Sean is not only extremely talented, but he is kind and patient, totally reasonable price wise and such a hard worker! He made sure to get every shot I wanted even in the snow. I can't say more great things about him. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding - book him now!

Sean spent the afternoon with me and my groomsmen and he was great. He was well organized and put a lot of thought into his shots. He was very easy to get along with and played a big part in calming my nerves throughout the day.
Sean worked perfectly with our photographer to capture amazing photos from our special day. A lot of effort and thought was put into each shot to try and create unique shots. Thank you Sean, for a job well done! -
User2764899 Sent on 09/12/2016Sean has been excellent and easy to work with from our very first meeting, through the chaos of the wedding day, and now during the process of putting together our wedding album. Above all else dealing with the wedding planning, I was most worried about hiring the perfect wedding photographer. We met with Sean and had a great conversation, looked through a huge sampling of his work, and left feeling like we didn't really need to look any further since we were so impressed with him personally and professionally. Since I had so much anxiety about hiring the perfect photographer I didn't want to go with the first person we met with, so we went on to meet with two others who I felt strongly about. In the end, I found myself comparing everyone to Sean - so that was that! After talking everything through at our very first meeting my mind was completely at ease. Sean promised to personalize our experience and photographs and I am so happy to say that he delivered and went above and beyond our expectations. Our photos came out incredible and he caught so many moments that I never could have known to ask for. I've gotten such kind and exuberant comments from friends and family about the photos, I'm so glad that all these months later they're still a topic of discussion! I absolutely cannot wait to see how our album turns out, but I know for sure that it will be beautiful since Sean is working on it with us. I cannot recommend Sean enough, you will not be disappointed with his beautiful work and friendly personality. -
User2885428 Sent on 11/30/2016Sean is easy to work with and the ultimate professional. He made sure our wedding pictures were beautiful even if he had to lie down on the ground or climb a wall to get the perfect shot.
And most of my friends had a hard time getting in touch with their photographers after their weddings. But Sean was always quick to respond to my emails which I really appreciated. He's the best, hire him! -
User2012263 Sent on 01/16/2015Sean has a knack for details as well as landscape! His blog says and shows it all! That is what attracted us to him in the first place. When we first contacted Sean to be our wedding photographer, he got back to us almost immediately. Soon after, we scheduled an appointment at his studio/apartment to view more of his work. His blog doesn't do justice because you can only view one full wedding and snippets of others. Any questions we asked him, he was able to respond with a picture example! Also, his quality of wedding books were unlike any other. The book we choose has a glass cover and is from Italy.
After booking Sean we scheduled our engagement shoot which was included in our package. Sean assured us that an engagement shoot was ideal so that we could spend time with one another prior to the wedding. Boy was he right! Unless you're a celebrity, nobody is used to having papparazzi! The shoot confirmed our allegiance to him and he proved to us and that he was willing to get dirty (ie: grass, rocks, etc.)
On the day of the wedding, his team was professional and creative. As promised, his second photographer shot in a similar style to him and we loved all the pictures. The morning of our wedding, it was raining. During the day, it cleared up. Sean a d team captured all the beautiful moments, rain or shine. Since we were adventurous, we even got some beautiful hazy/drizzling shots! The best part of it all was Sean's personality. What a down-to-earth guy, he made us and our party feel comfortable throughout. Would I hire Sean again? In a heartbeat!!

User1489067 Sent on 12/30/2013I absolutely, 110% recommend that anyone considering hiring a professional photographer for their wedding, or any other event, look no further and hire Sean Gallant Photography!! We used Sean for our wedding earlier this year, and I honestly could not be happier with the service he provided. Sean was professional, responsive, friendly, and (most importantly) an excellent photographer.
Sean's style of photography really caught my eye when searching out vendors online; he is able to do great posed shots but also captures a lot of wonderful candid moments. We met with Sean and immediately hit it off; he was friendly, easy to talk to, and gave us honest feedback to our ideas and suggestions about our wedding photography. Sean immediately replied to the very many emails I sent him leading up to our day, and even spent an hour on the phone with me the night before Thanksgiving (we got married that weekend) going over the timeline to make sure everything was just right.
Sean also did an engagement session with us a few months before the wedding. We failed to schedule it ahead of time, but Sean was super accommodating to our schedules; when it rained on the initial date we chose, he squeezed us in on a weekend which I'm sure was already very busy for him. The photos were fantastic and we used them during the wedding as a display for the card box.
The day of the wedding, Sean was cool and collected, and put us at ease immediately. We had an photos planned for a nearby outdoor site; unfortunately it turned out to be about 20 degrees outside that day!! Despite the extremely cold weather, Sean put everyone in a great mood, and helped out holding the bridesmaids' blankets and coats in between shots. When we decided to throw in a few extra unplanned family photos, Sean didn't miss a beat and got the photos and still kept us on track.
I cannot say enough how pleased I am with Sean Gallant Photography; if you want great wedding photos, this is your guy!!! -
User1292168 Sent on 08/19/2013Sean is an amazing photographer. His photos beautiful. He is incredibly professional and personable. He made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera. He isn't cheap, but he is reasonable, willing to work with your budget, and worth every penny. If you tell him your vision then he makes it happen. He is also always ready to offer his suggestions and his ideas are always awesome. He finds beauty in urban landscapes and knows how to showcase the beauty of nature as well. He makes every subject in every setting look stunning.
We loved our engagement session with him so much that we hired him for a work Christmas party and then for a 30th birthday surprise party. We plan to use Sean for every big life event, the next milestone birthday, baby photos, etc... and we super highly recommend him. -
User1296308 Sent on 08/21/2013Sean is an amazing photographer and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I both love the pictures we got and had fun working with him. You should definitely book Sean for your wedding or special event!!
Before the wedding he was very easy to communicate with, responding to emails quickly, giving us good advice about how to schedule events on the wedding day, etc. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable while we were in the planning phase.
On the day of the wedding, he helped the day run smoothly and took so many amazing pictures of our day. He helped us figure out how to get all the pictures we wanted despite people in our wedding party running late. This meant that I never felt rushed or stressed and I didn't have to miss any of my wedding. In our formal photos, Sean really captured our personalities and the emotions we were feeling. He made us feel relaxed and we had a blast doing the couples photos. We had a long and intricate Indian wedding ceremony which all went by so fast on the day, but Sean took so many incredible pictures of each ritual that I can now relive all those moments when I look at my pictures.
He also captured incredible moments I hadn't even thought of when planning the wedding: our smiles and laughter during the toasts, a celebratory conversation with the groom and his close friends.
And most importantly, I feel like Sean captured my best side. I look my best and the pictures really capture how happy I was that day.
