  Simplicity Photography!

  Mel and Sarah are so easy to work with and are very flexible to work with! They make it fun and very enjoyable to be photographed! We enjoyed every experience we had with these ladies from engagement photos to our wedding! We will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you

  Spectacular!

  Melanie & Sarah were simply amazing. They made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire shoot. They were willing to try out any poses we suggested as well as plenty of pose suggestions themselves! It was such an enjoyable 2 hours and I would absolutely recommend them for any type of photo shoots. The turnaround on the photos was also so quick and efficient!

  Amazing! Hire them

  I am a pretty type-A bride with a big family that made up our wedding party. Melanie & Sarah were experts from the start. We had a few calls with them ahead of the wedding and shared the style and locations that were important to us. They came to our wedding ready to go. They clearly did the homework necessary to refresh themselves on the style I described to them, and when on-site, they were professional, excitable, and fun with a big group! We got a few previews about 24 hours after the wedding and I'm already crying over them and how good they are! Looking forward to seeing so much more from them!

  Above and Beyond

  These two are sisters and work very well together to capture the optimal shot. They both were very accommodating and arrived early to ensure there was ample set up. The communication was exceptional as we booked them with only a few months prior to the wedding. The photos were stunning and everyone at the wedding was commenting on how well the photographers were. Look no further, go with them.

  Superb Experience

  Melanie and Sarah are so fantastic. They are very professional, but also personable and make you feel comfortable while they're working. My wedding photos look amazing, and they have an eye for capturing the important scenes and setting the backdrop for every photo. I couldn't be more happy! My husband and I had so much fun working with them on our big day!

  Better than we could’ve hoped

  Melanie and Sarah did such a great job throughout the entirety of the event. From start to finish they not only got great photos but helped the day run smoothly. They were truly there for the bride and groom and weren’t afraid to speak up when they needed to to get the right picture. They gave great direction without being bossy and were so personable and down to earth. My husband was nervous saying he didn’t know how to pose and he is usually uncomfortable for pictures. They were able to direct him perfectly. They are experienced, professional, friendly sisters that went above and beyond for our day. If I could do it all over again I would definitely choose them for our photography needs. We even got compliments from friends and family about how nice and helpful they were. On top of this the photos came out beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

  Melanie and Sarah were absolutely wonderful! It was great having them start before the ceremony so Melanie captured the men and Sarah captured the women. This helped save us time for the photoshoot after the ceremony. Also helped with the wedding jitters as well. When we took our our photoshoot after the ceremony they did a great job of posing us and getting the most beautiful moments! I cried when I saw the first four photos they were absolutely beautiful. Here is a glimpse of what they took.

We met them at our wedding venue weeks in advance to scope out good spots for photos, AND they even came to a second location for first looks! The photos are absolutely stunning, they make the process So easy even for those who don’t enjoy being in front of a camera, and they’re just honestly the nicest people! They were very quick to respond with each correspondence. No regrets at all, you won’t have any either!

  Sarah and Melanie made our COVID-19 elopement feel so special and were so great to work with! They work together beautifully, helping each other with lighting/props/ideas, and our photos came out absolutely stunning- we got so many complements and people asking who our photographer was. You can tell they really care about getting you great photos, and they will actually readjust and direct you to make it happen. I couldn't be happier about picking them- they were so sweet and funny and thoughtful!

  Sarah and Melanie made our COVID-19 elopement feel so special and were so great to work with! They work together beautifully, helping each other with lighting/props/ideas, and our photos came out absolutely stunning- we got so many complements and people asking who our photographer was.   5 star experience

  Melanie and Sarah’s photographs are stunning! I found them online 2 weeks before our elopement and right from the first email they were friendly, flexible and great to work with. To make sure they understood our expectations and what we needed they set up a phone call to discuss the details of the shoot. They had researched where we were staying to become familiar with the grounds and ensure we were going to get the pictures we wanted. Although we were not close to where they are based in Catskill, NY, they were willing to travel about an hour to us.
  
  On the day of the elopement we were running a little late but they were more than flexible with adjusting the time of the shoot, which demonstrates how great they are to work with. We had a meet and greet before the ceremony and I knew I had made the right decision; they were so easygoing and made us feel relaxed on our big day.
  
  They’re very professional and were great at getting the right angels and lighting to make us look our best! During the shoot I was curious to see how some of the poses turned out and they were more than happy to show us a quick preview on their camera. When they sent us our 24-hour ‘sneak peak’ I could not stop looking at them, I can’t believe how perfect they are!
  
  I can't thank Sarah and Melanie enough and would highly recommend them. I don't think you will find a better team close to Albany or elsewhere for that matter!

  Excellent!!

  We were VERY happy with Simplicity at out wedding. We live in the middle of nowhere, and they still came out ahead of time to see the area and make some plans. During the wedding, they were quick and efficient with different shots which we REALLY appreciated. They were kind and open to any questions or suggestions we had. 100% would recommend =)

  Melanie and Sarah were perfect for our wedding!

  We were referred to Melanie and Sarah by a family friend and it was such a good recommendation for our small wedding. They were so flexible and offered such great advice when we decided to rely on their expertise when we were unsure how things would work. Having photographers who are sisters was so nice at our wedding which was just our families.
  The photos came out beautiful and the flash drive and even package it was mailed in were as well!
  The one drawback was several of our couple portraits we wish they had pointed out my husband's tie was askew or other tiny details that would have been such quick fixes.
  
  Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend Sarah and Melanie to anyone getting married in the area!
