  Fantastic service!

  Smudge Makeup was the perfect pick for hair/makeup for our wedding! Amber was so responsive and helpful, and brought the right amount of staff for our big wedding party in central MA and on a holiday. We had two brides, 10 bridesmaids, and 2 MOBs, and they did a flawless job with everyone's hair and makeup, as well as staying on schedule. One bridesmaid was added day of for hair and they were so nice and flexible. The makeup and hair were absolutely perfect; I felt like myself but absolutely glamorous and it was the perfect balance. Our hair and makeup both looked amazing all night. Amber and her team were so wonderful and made us feel so beautiful for our big day. Thank you so much!!!

  A Great Hair and Makeup Team!

  Smudge was a great vendor choice for my wedding! Amber was so responsive and flexible, even when we decided last minute to add an additional hair service. Kristy and Stephanie were absolutely WONDERFUL right from the trial to the day of the wedding, they listened to exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job with all of my bridesmaids as well. I highly recommend the whole Smudge team to anyone looking for hair and makeup services!

  McDonald Wedding 9-23-23

  Amber and Sarah were amazing! They did my bridal hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom and grandmother of the bride and groom. We were all very pleased with our hair and makeup! Highly recommend them both. We got ready in the studio, which made the experience even better. Made us feel so special!

  Amber as well as my artists Stephanie and Kristy were fantastic to work with! Stephanie and Kristy were the stylists for my September wedding working with both myself as the bride and my wedding party plus moms. Stephanie and Kristy were meticulous with so much attention to detail. They made everyone feel comfortable and it was so fun having them with us the morning of the wedding. When I had some changes and tweaks from my trial, they were stress free and made me feel that there was no worries. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup! It lasted all throughout the evening even with the rain! (Which I did not hesitate to take pictures in so that should speak for itself!) Would recommend to anyone in the area!

  Wedding glam!

  Amber and Sarah from Smudge did a great job!! From the first phone call to the day off, very professional, and helpful! I had a little extra of a hoop to jump through when planning my wedding as we had moved out of state about a year or so before the big day. Coordinating everything was not easy with that being the case and Amber was willing to call me and answer any and all questions from the start as well as adjust and work around when I would be back in town for the trial and other wedding things prior to the wedding. From the trial to day of I had decided to change a few things to the look and they both did an awesome job with adapting to the new aspects of what I had wanted!! I know the process wasn’t an easy one for being out of state and having only so much time to work with being available and they did awesome with accommodating everything they could to help me out! My girls and I felt beautiful on the big day thanks to them!!

  Would 100% recommend

  Love these girls!

  Amber and Megan were the ones part of my wedding and they made it so incredibly special. They are so easy to work and communicate with and also down to earth where they are easy to talk to! Honestly they were a highlight of my wedding morning.

  Amazing team and wonderful experience

  I had difficulty finding a makeup and hair artist due to my thick curly hair and desire to go with a more natural look. Smudge makeup really went above and beyond to give me two hair trials and we're really flexible with appointments. On the day of my wedding I felt horrible bloated and just all around disgusted with my parents but these two stayed late just to make sure I was happy with how I looked. Such amazing girls and I'm truly grateful.

  Amber and her colleague did an incredible job on my bridal makeup, as well as the makeup for everyone in my bridal party. They were professional and attentive as they helped each of us look and feel beautiful both inside and out. They also worked efficiently, and helped us finish all of our "glam" ahead of schedule! Also, our makeup stayed on all night long---even after a day of hot July temperatures and a night of dancing at the reception and after-party until the early morning hours!
  
  As the bride, I felt that Amber truly took the time to understand my day-to-day makeup preferences, and blended those concepts perfectly with my bridal makeup vision. Her expertise in combining the two helped me feel true to myself on my wedding day while achieving my bridal makeup vision.

  Amazing Bridal Experience!

  Lidia from Smudge did an absolutely amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup! She worked with me to produce a look that was based off of pinterest photos I liked while also tailoring it to my own complexion, hair color and length, and aspects that would best highlight my features. She made everything look natural yet so put-together and polished and I absolutely LOVE the way the look turned out in photos. Amber and Lidia were also so helpful in adding on last-minute makeup for my mom and bridesmaids when I asked (only a week before the big day!). Lidia even helped out one of my bridesmaids with her hair when her updo was falling out. She did a trial run with me several months before to make sure I liked everything, and came to the Airbnb that I was renting with my bridesmaids to do everything there the morning of. I am so impressed with Smudge's professionalism and quality of work (thank you Lidia and Amber!). I highly recommend them for your bridal look!

  Loved working with Smudge—hair and makeup looked great!

  I got married in June of 2023 and Amber was absolutely awesome to coordinate with. She’s easy to work with, transparent about prices, responsive, and nice. While she didn’t actually do my hair or makeup, her team did and it came out looking great. All my bridesmaids looked great, too. We had an especially good experience with Sarah doing hair. Would highly recommend this vendor for reasonable pricing, willingness to travel, and an overall positive experience and beauty outcome on the big day!

  Amber and Sarah were a joy to work with, from my first interaction with Amber, to the trial run, and then on my wedding day it was a joy to work with them. The day of my wedding in June 2023 they arrived on schedule with their chairs and tools.
  They were accommodating and flexible when my mother-in-law wanted her hair done last minute. They were attentive to my party of 8 ladies and were able to get everyone’s hair and makeup done in a timely manner while listening to their wants and needs.
  Everyone in my party loved working with them and loved how our hair and makeup turned out. They made me feel beautiful and that’s all I could ask for on my wedding day.   Amazing! I would work with Smudge again!

  Amber was the best! I had a very small wedding and had a hard time finding someone to do just one person’s makeup and travel day of. Amber had no hesitations and assured me she was available! Fast forward to a week before my wedding. My hair dresser decided she wasn’t traveling for my wedding. I discussed with Amber and she found me someone from her team a week before to do my hair! Amber was responsive and listened to my requests. The day of my wedding, I felt like the most beautiful bride. I can’t thank you enough for your help when I was feeling stressed but also for helping make my day so perfect! You won’t be disappointed working with Smudge!

  Sarah did my hair for my wedding in April, and it could not have turned out more perfect! Amber was so kind and welcoming while coordinating everything, and it made the process so easy. I have thick, curly hair, and I was worried about finding a hair stylist that would be able to do an event updo. Sarah was absolutely AMAZING and gave so much affirmation, she truly created such a safe space for me to feel comfortable. My hair stayed in place all day, even through some high humidity — Sarah knew exactly what to do!   I recently got married on 10/14/2022 and loved every second of makeup with Amber and hair with Sarah! They both were amazing and did everything we asked! There were 9 of us and timing was perfect! I’m not a big makeup girl but my wedding makeup was beautiful, I felt amazing! My hair also stayed curled all night which was my biggest concern! I would highly recommend smudge makeup to everyone and anyone!

  I recently got married on 10/14/2022 and loved every second of makeup with Amber and hair with Sarah! They both were amazing and did everything we asked! There were 9 of us and timing was perfect!   Clean/ professional/ amazing

  I had Adrienne and Megan do make up and hair, respectively. They were amazing! I can’t say enough nice things about them. They were not only phenomenal with hair and make up but they were personable. All my bridesmaids loved them! It felt like we were all just good friends doing each others hair and make up. They gave everyone exactly what they asked for and they were kind, quick and CLEAN! When I asked for changes after my trial they asked for photos and asked clarifying questions to make sure it was perfect. They were the perfect choice for my special day!

  Amber & her team at Smudge makeup do such an amazing job!! I’ve worked with Amber before for a stylized shoot and knew I needed to have her be a part of my actual big day! She was prompt with message responses and easy to book for my trial. Day of they were on time and got to work!! They made great time and all of our hair & makeup turned out so beautifully!!   I we not for a pre trial bridal makeup and hair session which was great to get to know the stylist before doing my hair & makeup for the wedding. Grace did a fabulous job. She was very professional, gave nice suggestions, styled my hair just the way I wanted it and my makeup session was just as good. The day of the wedding she came to the hotel where my matron of honor was staying and finished us both up in time for the wedding. It was almost therapeutic to get your hair and makeup done right before the wedding and calmed my nerves. Everything turned out perfect and my wedding was just as perfect. Thank you Grace for your professionalism and talent.

  We had an amazing experience with Smudge Makeup. Amber was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to emails/questions. We had 10 girls to get ready and her and Sarah absolutely crushed it. Every girl AND mom were beyond pleased with their hair and makeup and the whole morning went really smoothly. We got ready in their new studio which was designed and styled to the T, with everything you could possibly need from a comfy adorable couch for pictures, champagne glasses, record/bluetooth player for music, and any emergency things we may have forgotten (Hollywood tape, tick tacks, stain removers, you name it!) We felt pampered and truly cared for during our experience with Smudge. The Smudge team is kind, professional, and fun to work with. I would definitely recommend and use them again for future events.
