The best of the best! Alex exceeded all expectations of working with a videographer for our wedding – an absolute dream! He is incredibly talented, extremely friendly, wildly knowledgeable and a true joy to work with. On top of that, Alex is organized, professional and thoughtful – he made sure that we were comfortable, had multiple options of what we would want captured or recorded, and ensured that the cameras were set up so we didn’t even realize they were around. Definitely recommend the drone footage too - it adds such a fun layer to your video! The final videos Alex provided are beautifully and thoughtfully woven together and provided in an easy to watch format so we can re-watch time and time again. We are so grateful that we were able to work with Alex as our wedding videographer. If you’re thinking of hiring a videographer for your wedding, and you truly want the best, look no further than Alex Dodds!

There aren’t enough great things I can say about Alex. He was amazing to work with, super organized, communicative, and got everything to us in a timely manner. We were extremely picky about our videographer and photographer and went through over 500 of each prior to selecting Alex. I’m so thankful that we found Something Blue Creative. The video came out amazing, and in all honesty, we’ve watched it every single day since getting it (sometimes multiple times)! He captured everything incredibly & has provided us with an amazing piece to be able to look back on for years to come. Every person who has seen our video has either regretted not getting one or plans to utilize Alex in the future. I cannot thank Alex enough or explain how grateful I am to him and his team for providing us with this special video. Alex at Something Blue Creative is an unbelievably talented videographer! He was amazing & easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable leading up to and throughout our day. He thinks of every detail and captures all the best angles. His passion shines through his work — every video he creates is stunning, and yours will be no different!
We have watched our video over and over again so many times that we've lost count, it's that good. Our wedding video captures all the special moments in a way that still photographs alone cannot, and we have Alex to thank for that. We can't recommend SBC enough!Something Blue Creative's reply:

Alex Dodds at Something Blue Creative (https://www.somethingbluecreative.com/ ) was an outstanding videographer for our wedding! He went above and beyond to make sure our wants and needs were met, and made the day so easy. My husband and I are not people who like our pictures taken or like being in front of the camera, and yet Alex made us feel comfortable, and feel like it was natural.
Alex is incredibly professional. He is timely, and makes sure he is early to set up. He worked around schedules for us, and made sure we knew exactly what to do for each moment captured.
Above all, Alex is personable. He is easy to talk to, and he is happy to discuss any requests. When he is with you, he maintains a light and friendly attitude to make sure everyone is comfortable.
We received a sneak peak within a couple of weeks after our wedding, and the full video was sent out shortly after. I would recommend Alex and his team as a 10 out of 10 to anyone in the area looking for a videographer. He is AMAZING!Something Blue Creative's reply:

Alex was amazing to work with from the very beginning. We initially planned our wedding for July 2020 but due to the pandemic were forced to reschedule. Alex was very accommodating and helpful during this difficult time. He checked in with us often and was very mindful of the video my husband and I envisioned. Our final video was everything we had hoped for.
I was so impressed with how much time Alex spent with us on our wedding day (more than he was expected to) in order to make sure he got every detail. His assistant was also very fun and professional. I would 100% recommend Alex for your wedding video.Something Blue Creative's reply:

There are no words to describe the feeling, as a Mom, to hear the pure joy in her newlywed daughter's voice when she calls to say she got her wedding video. Something Blue Creative is100% responsible for that and I just can't thank them enough. She was beyond happy. Alex was a special part of my brother’s wedding this past summer and I can’t imagine the day without him. His calm and present demeanor is matched by his creativity and professionalism. Alex was truly a dream! He was kind, professional and by the end of the day, felt like a true friend! His video exceeded our expectations! One of the biggest pieces of advice for a bride planning her wedding would be to invest in a videographer and look no further than Alex Dodd. He is the best! Something Blue Creative (aka Alex) is the best decision we made planning our wedding. Your wedding video is a HUGE deal and after we received our wedding video, it was on non-stop repeat for the next week. I still have not stopped watching it and we were married in September. It was breath taking. The quality of the video is movie like. Alex is professional, extremely KIND, fun and does not make you feel like there is a camera in your face the whole day. There are sections where I can not believe he captured it because I did not feel a camera was on me at all. Alex makes you feel comfortable. I would rehire Alex over and over again. I would recommend him to anyone who asks. Hire Something Blue Creative, you will NOT regret it.Something Blue Creative's reply:
