My husband and I wanted the beauty of a traditional Catholic church (tall stained glass windows, painted ceilings, etc.), but we also wanted to be able to bring our own musicians, pastor, etc. St. Joseph's Villa fit the mold! It is a historically Catholic church, re-purposed as a public venue. All fees and proceeds go towards the Villa's programs and educational care - so, you're getting a great deal, getting married, and supporting a humble cause. There is plenty of parking, and we could not have asked for a more picture-perfect campus for photos. After the wedding, we had a number of our local guests reach out for Beth's contact info (so that they could book their weddings here!). I will say that the dressing rooms are very small (we had to bring our own mirror), but we only used the room for 15 minutes to slip into our dresses so it was not a huge concern for us. When we got married, the organ did not work. There was one functioning piano, which worked out just fine. Overall, I would highly recommend if you want a religious ceremony without the hassle that typically characterizes church rentals.
