  The experience was awsome and great customer service.

  If you are planning a rustic wedding this is your venue. The owner is fabulous and great to deal with. We loved it. Thanks Mark for all your help.

  I could not be more happy with the way our day turned out and the experience we had with Mark and his crew!!! The venue is absolutely breathtaking, my guests are still complementing their time on the property admiring every aspect! I would not change one thing about Steele Crest! If your looking for a wedding that people will talk about for many many years this is the place to go!!!

  Steele Crest is a venue that tops all others. The scenery is beyond words for description and everything in sight is pleasing to the eye for gorgeous photos of your once in a lifetime event.
  Our daughter had her dream wedding at this venue in October of 2016, and we all were very pleased with our experience. The main house serves as a dressing area for the bride and bride's maids while a vintage tobacco barn has been repurposed as a dressing area for the groom and grooms' men. The huge red barn with a beautiful pond serves as the main attraction of the venue as it provides an area for dining and dancing or the wedding itself. This barn by the pond, along with a lovely gazebo area allows for flexibility in selecting an area for the exchanging of the vows and the following reception.
  The owner, Mr. Mark Steele, insists on professionalism from himself and his staff at all times. He is easy to work with and very helpful when answering questions – and we had a lot for him, especially as the wedding day drew near. When your event is at Steele Crest, you can rest easy and know that without a doubt you are in the most beautiful setting with a true professional making sure every small detail is in order to guarantee your event is everything you could have imagined and more. His acute attention to detail relieves the wedding party of any concerns of the grounds, allowing for their time and focus to be on the wedding itself where it should be. We were not restricted to an hourly schedule, as with most venues. We were allowed to begin decorating on Friday, have the ceremony on Saturday, and complete clean-up on Sunday. Mr. Steele's tireless efforts to make our experience as flawless and stress free as possible were greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
  If wedding plans are in your future there is absolutely no other venue that can compare to Steele Crest for a gorgeous, rustic, country, and picture perfect event.

  Where do I begin...?!
  This venue is near and dear to my heart. It is a big part of my family on my Mother's side. It is actually my Great Great Aunt's property. I grew up here watching all the changes happen. Mark has worked extremely hard to make this venue what it is today! He is very professional and makes sure that all of your needs are met. One text saying "Is it ok to move something?", he automatically responds "Done!". No questions asked, he assures your wedding day is PERFECT.

  We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! It had the perfect mixture of elegance and southern charm, which was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Mark worked with us on a backup rain plan a couple of weeks before the wedding, but made sure that everything was set up the way we had originally desired in case it didn't rain - when the sun was bright and shining 30 minutes before the wedding, we were all set up to still have the ceremony in front of the gazebo (my dream spot!) The morning of the wedding, Mark was hard at work mowing the property and making final touches to be sure we had everything looking amazing. He even accommodated for an earlier arrival at the house for my bridesmaids, my mother, and myself to get ready. He has thought through every last detail from having lights pre-strung, to having cute and colorful but well-hidden outhouses, to having a lining of trees to hid the parking area from photos. A+ venue!

  I got married at Steele Crest on April 23, 2016 and it was obviously the best day of my life but this venue played a huge role in that! Mark Steele who owns and runs the venue is the best, he make you feel so calm about things and he is very on top of everything. He truly wants your day to be as perfect as he can make it, he feels more like a member of the family than someone who just has a venue you are using...he would even email me a countdown and he was just as excited as I was! Now onto the venue, there is no where that I have been that is as peaceful and beautiful as Steele Crest. My husband and I decided we would like to get married below the barn infront of the pond and tree and then we had the reception in the barn. We did very little decorating because this venue has SO MUCH natural beauty we didn't need to add much of anything. We just put flowers on the chairs and had center pieces on the table! The barn is so incredibly beautiful inside and out, Mark has put the best lights in the barn and over the dance floor it just makes it all feel so magical!!! When you go to Steele Crest, I promise you will never want to leave. It is such a wonderful place with wonderful people. I wish I could replay that day over and over!

  Our experience with Steele Crest was outstanding! After visiting another venue and coming to this one, we knew immediately this was it! This is a genuine country setting, with gorgeous views from the time guests park to when they are seated. Steele Crest is family owned and operated and so helpful. They were ready to assist us and solve problems if needed all weekend long. We loved that we were able to rent the venue Friday-Sunday as we had lots of furniture and decor to set-up and tear-down. Mark also allowed my family and I to drop by several times to take measurements and brainstorm decor ideas. Parking to barn is a bit of a walk, so we were concerned about our grandparents being able to walk down to the ceremony/reception site, but Mark offered a golf cart shuttle, which worked great! You will not regret renting this gorgeous venue for your special day!

There are several options to choose between for the ceremony & reception. They also have a great vendor list. Only a 30 minute drive from Winston Salem, well worth the trip! Mark Steele & his crew are wonderful to work with! From the first meeting when we were visiting venues for our daughters wedding, Mark was very helpful with all the details. The wedding weekend was absolutely wonderful, the Steele Crest crew helped keep everything moving smoothly, the whole place was so beautiful, and everyone had an awesome time!! ( we had the Rehearsal Dinner here also). We couldn't be happier with our experience!!
