  Excellent service!

  We toured Stoney Creek for a possible wedding venue. The property is unique, right on the river. There is one huge room for wedding receptions that can be divided into smaller rooms. They also have the coolest swimming pool and hot tub as well as gorgeous guest rooms, a breakfast nook, gift shop and bar area.
  
  We ended up going with another venue because I wanted the room to have more natural light. But Stoney Creek would be excellent for an evening reception.
  
  We reserved a block of rooms for our guests.

  Everyone at Stoney Creek Inn was extremely helpful. They offered to do all the set up; let us borrow vases, candles, and table numbers; set up lighting and other decorations; and put together a candy bar for us. They did a great job with all of these and the room look really good! Overall, they were flexible, helpful, and easy to work with. Our only disappointment was that the projector bulb blew and they didn't have a back-up, so we couldn't play our slideshow, but they handled that with grace.
  The rooms at the hotel were cute and nature-y. Our guests enjoyed the whole feel of the Inn!

  Absolutely beautiful

  Venue was beautiful. We asked for no bar and they still set one up in the reception which we had to get rid of right after the ceremony during pictures. Nathan was super helpful through everything. Make sure you book your complimentary room early, nobody contracted us to let us know that they were almost full and gave our suite away so we had to pay for an upgraded room because it was one of the last rooms available

  All in all we were pleased with having our reception at Stoney Creek. Mark, the wedding coordinator was very easy to work and communicate with. We were able to meet with him multiple times before the day and he was quick to respond to email. We went with the middle level package and thought the prices were slightly better than other similar venues. One downfall is we were only able to decorate the morning of the event which caused for a little stress on our part. Another negative is this hotel is older and it was HOT on our wedding day. Both the ballroom and the guests rooms were VERY warm. They say the ballroom can hold 250, but we were VERY tight on space with 200. They don't have any kind of bar packages, so we just hosted keg beer and wine. Beware they won't let you write a check, only credit/debit cards. The staff were friendly and able to assist us and our guests. I wish I could give it a 3.5 start rating, instead of 4.
