If you are planning a wedding or a big event, you have found your vendor! I can't express enough how truly phenomenal Carron and her staff were! Our dream wedding came true thanks to Carron. I love Sugar City Celebrations & Bakery.
She met with us often, answered all my questions (I asked her A LOT of questions since I knew nothing about planning a wedding), and our wedding day was beautiful.
For everything they covered (food, cake, floral, wedding coordinator, multiple meetings, piece of mind, sanity, happy tears) it was for a VERY reasonable price.
Our guests ranted and raved about the food, cake, decorations, and how awesome the staff was. I have people asking if she can make cakes for them. Carron was personable, friendly, and understanding every step of the way. I honestly miss talking to her all the time because the support and care she gives you.
When people say things will go wrong on your wedding day.... it happened to us but Carron put out all the fires and I had NO IDEA about them until days after the wedding! Our wedding was the BEST day ever! I still have people telling me how they enjoyed themselves at our wedding and we got married a little over a month ago. She knows how to get things done, ya'll!! Pick them before they get booked! You won't regret it. Our wedding day would not have been what it was if it wasn't for her and her team!Sugar City Celebrations's reply:

Working with Carron and her husband was the best experience! They were hands down my favorite vender I worked with! Sugar City did my cake, appetizers, dessert bar and plated food! Everything was so delicious and Carron was a dream to work with! They have so much experience and you won’t have to worry about anything except eating all of the amazing food!! I also wish I would have hired Carron as my coordinator because you can tell she would really take care of you! Love these guys!Sugar City Celebrations's reply:

Carron was great to work with and did a fantastic job on our florals for the wedding. We gave her a winter wedding concept and she nailed it along with keeping with our budget. It was way more than we got from other vendors who quoted us. Additionally she was able to provide our cake that was excellent in look, texture and taste at a more affordable price than other bakeries. Definitely would recommend her to anyone! PS. The city of this business on wedding wire is incorrect. the city is North Richland Hills not Dallas.

What can I say- Sugar City is amazing.
This has got to be the best wedding cake my husband and I have ever had. Carron only uses high-quality, organic ingredients, and REAL BUTTER, and it shows. She even made a tier of my bridal cake taste just like my favorite childhood cake. It was dreamy. Her husband is also one hell of a chef. All of our food was made fresh and hot. We received many gracious comments from our guests about the delicious carving stations and appetizers. Not to mention the scratch made sauces! Sugar City was incredibly attentive and flexible with us throughout the entire process, especially when we had to push our wedding due to Covid 19. These guys do it all and we would recommend to anyone who wants delicious, real food.Sugar City Celebrations's reply:

I worked with Carron to plan our dream wedding, and Sugar City provided all the services, catering, cake, and decorations for our event. She and her team were very professional and at the same time very warm and down-to-earth. Carron is also extremely experienced and I am so glad to have been taken care of by someone like her. She went above and beyond with her wedding planning/coordination services, and not a single detail was overlooked. She was very considerate of our budget and was still able to accommodate all our needs and wants. Although Sugar City did nearly everything for us, she also coordinated everything with the venue and helped us contract a lighting/draping provider. Carron completely understood our vision and executed it to perfection. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food and how beautiful everything was, and I know this would not have been possible without Sugar City. I highly recommend Carron and her team to any future bride in the DFW metroplex, and for any other special events. I also recommend including the planning and day-of-coordination services they provide, our wedding would not have been as perfect without either of these. You will not find a better quality and affordable event services team than Sugar City!Sugar City Celebrations's reply:

We cannot say enough wonderful things about them! Look no further if you want a group that can do it all flawlessly -- and at a very reasonable price that also supports the mission of a great local nonprofit.
Their elegant affair package is the way to go. They did our gorgeous flowers and decor, catered our dinner that everyone raved about, made our delicious custom-flavored wedding cake, provided servers and bartenders, ceremony and reception coordinators, the chairs, tables, linens and all that.
(Also, you provide the alcohol, which is easy enough to order and have delivered from Spec's and is a real cost-saver.)
What's more, we planned our wedding from a distance , were detail-obsessed, and wanted plenty of personal touches and elements that didn't follow the usual traditional wedding playbook.
Carron and her team made sure we nailed every one of them, worked through every little thing with a smile, and everyone was incredibly responsive over phone and email (and email, and email, and email.)
We've heard from so many of our guests that ours was truly the best wedding they'd ever been to.
That might sound like something people just say - but it was a LOT of people and they all went out of their way to say it. We are biased, but definitely agree. :)
Wedding are stressful enough, and I don't know what we would have done without Sugar City.
Stop reading reviews and book them now -- before they start charging folks what they're *really* worth. -
