Vicki helped with a lot more than I expected and was super responsive to my texts on quick questions for how to setup and organize different aspects. Even helped look over the invitation wording so it made sense. Day-of I barely had to think about anything (I could have done less I'm sure, but I can't help myself). She had all my timing notes and made sure the vendors were on track - I got to have fun and didn't even remember the cleanup at the end of the night!Dramatically Simple Events's reply:

Words cannot express the love and attention SWAY puts into their work. Melissa, Vicki and Deja'Nay are absolute magicians at wedding planning. From months before, helping us find more information about vendors, assisting with communications, giving recommendations for decorations or just keeping us sane the day of, they had everything covered. Deja'Nay was flawless in her organization of the day and she nailed our vision. We had our stressors but she checked in on both me and the groom the whole morning making sure we had water, that we were relaxing and weren't freaking out too much. Everything went so smoothly that we hardly even noticed how fast the day went by. All the small personal touches the SWAY team included in our day made for an even more memorable experience. They took everything we said into consideration, no matter how small the ask was. The moment a doubt or concern came into my head, they squashed it. I could not recommend SWAY more. They're top notch professionals that I would work with again in a heartbeat if I ever got the chance. -

We got married outside in a state park setting with about 140 friends and family members. Because of SWAY, we can close our eyes and remember every moment of our beautiful day. SWAY is professional, affable and unflappable. Not have experienced many weddings ourselves, SWAY had all of the tip and tricks that made each family member feel welcome and honored. They are truly the best!

Vicki and the SWAY team were a photographer's dream for a smooth and easy wedding day experience. They were completely on the ball, while also being a relaxing and enjoyable presence. You could tell they were having a great time, and that energy was infectious. They also pulled together an amazing "plan b" wedding for a couple whose original plan was derailed a bit by the pandemic. Overall they were so amazing and I would love to work with them again! -

Vicki and Melissa were so helpful during the wedding planning process as well as on the day of our wedding. They would be on calls with me and my husband until late in the night, they checked in with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, and they created a detailed schedule for everyone to follow. Vicki walked us through our rehearsal which was very helpful. On the day of the wedding Vicki and her assistant where there to help with any hiccups including helping me fix my broken dress and getting a large stain out of the dress. Choosing them to help with the wedding was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. -

Vicki and Melissa are incredible to work with! We worked primarily with Vicki for planning our big day. She made every step in the process easy, from picking out vendors to decor and day-of help coordination at the venue. She stepped in right away when we had a minor linen issue to make sure we had everything we needed for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, Melissa and Vicki took care of all of the details of getting the venue set up and directing guests, and all we needed to do was get ourselves ready and relax and enjoy every moment. I don't even know where to start with Vicki and Melissa -- their skills blow my mind. I enlisted SWAY Events to help coordinate Seattle Cake Con, a large event that housed numerous vendors, guest speakers, and many other interactive moments. They were on top of each and every detail. They were professional, caring, unafraid to give their own opinions of how they thought things would flow better (they were right), and most importantly, stayed on top of things when it came to having me handle contracts, venue payments, walkthroughs -- all of the things that I have so much trouble doing myself and keeping organized. They truly will hold your hand and walk you through every step of the process. I was so impressed that I even asked them to coordinate the second year of the event. You will not be disappointed, because these are two professionals that care a lot about what they do. I'll add one more thing...I have many years of working in the wedding and events industry (I am a baker) and have come across many planners that aren't nearly as experienced with quietly putting out fires and keeping things calm and relaxed on these important days. Vicki and Melissa did that for me as well, and kept me calm the whole way through so I could enjoy myself at the event.Dramatically Simple Events's reply:

I just got to start off by saying that Melissa and Vicki are amazing, I love their personalities and they will become your bestfriends! We met them back in May 2018 at my husband's and I cousin-in-laws wedding. As we were in the wedding party, we got to see them work their magic and we were amazed! They made the whole day go smooth and stress free for everyone! So as soon as my husband and I became engaged in 2018 we knew we had to hire them. We hired Melissa and Vicki as day of coordinators, and right off the start they were on top of it! Our original wedding date was supposed to be in June 2020, but just like many other 2020 couples, we had to postpone our wedding to Feb. 2021 due to COVID. With all the uncertainties, in September we decided to bring our wedding back to 2020 and got married in October! With all the craziness and only having about a month to get everything planned out, I couldn't have done it without these girls!! They made sure we got all the vendors we needed, and helped us find a new venue, since the one I originally had was still closed down. Not only were they on top of the wedding but they always made sure we weren't stressing out about the planning. The day of the wedding went as smoothly as I knew it would go, even with pouring rain that never stopped lol. I can't give these girls enough credit for all they did for us! And even though my wedding didn't go as originally planned, they still made sure we still got the perfect wedding! If you're looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator we highly recommend Melissa and Vicki! -

I could not, I repeat, could NOT have planned my wedding or day of activities without SWAY Events. Every detail was more than I could have imagined. The week leading up to the wedding is by far the craziest & most hectic, I am so glad I had Vicki & Melissa’s help to keep my head on straight. I was able to enjoy every moment leading up to our wedding & our wedding day was absolutely seamless. Thank you ladies!!! You rocked it, yet again!!! -

The best day of my life because of SWAY!
If there is one thing I would 110% recommend, check out SWAY Events for your wedding planning needs. Whether you need minimal wedding coordinating/recommendations, or full blown event planning from start to finish, this team really will provide! These ladies are so experienced in this space and you can feel and tell they love what they do. When I look back on my special day, I’m so thankful we decided to get assistance. Hiring Vicki and Melissa was one of the best decisions that we made during wedding planning. From our very first meeting, these ladies were so warm and friendly, consistently putting our minds at ease. They were professional, responsive, and and helped us with all of those little decisions that add up when planning a DIY wedding.
On the weekend of the wedding, the SWAY team blew us away! Their communication with our vendors and decoration management allowed us to sit back and enjoy ourselves. They went above and beyond, even helping our families pull off sweet surprises during our reception that we'll remember forever. -

My husband and I wanted our wedding day to be stress free, and that’s exactly what we got thanks to SWAY Events!
We hired the SWAY Team for wedding day-of coordination roughly 6 months before our wedding. Throughout our time working with Vicki and Melissa, they were so friendly, caring, and supportive of us and our wedding plans. With no experience in planning a large scale event like a wedding, these two ladies helped steer us in the right direction, offering recommendations and advice whenever we asked for it. They were thorough in putting together the wedding day timeline, communicating with our vendors, and they also made sure we addressed all wedding day details (big and small). We were as prepared as can be going into our wedding day!
On the wedding day, the SWAY Team set up all of our personal decor at the reception venue, took care of multiple errands (like picking up the wedding cake), and coordinated our large wedding party and group of vendors. They were also a huge help in the cleanup process. Vicki and Melissa worked hard to make sure we, and our whopping 250 wedding guests, enjoyed every bit of the celebration. We cannot say enough good things about Vicki and Melissa of SWAY Events. We went to a family member’s wedding after we got engaged and were able to see Melissa and Vicki hard at work. They did such an incredible job there that we decided to book them for our wedding.
We had an untraditional venue (with no kitchen), we were living in Idaho and our venue was two hours away from Seattle. The SWAY team rocked it and were always 10 steps ahead of us. The day of the wedding was perfect and stress free! We had a couple of mishaps that I was not aware of until the next day. We could not be more thankful for or happy with the service Melissa and Vicki provided. Absolutely, 100% recommend them for any event!Dramatically Simple Events's reply:

Vicky and Melissa were fantastic! We worked with them just using the "Simply Coordination" package for day-of. They were responsive, helpful, and available before the wedding whenever we had questions. Then on the big day, my husband had some...issues that resulted in delays that I didn't even know about! It was great having a point person for him to reach out to, for our vendors to talk to, to run and grab people during photos - just all the things my husband and I didn't want to have to worry about on the day. They were so professional and lovely, they just made us feel at ease. I can only imagine how much more they could have helped if we shelled out a bit more for even more of their expertise!Dramatically Simple Events's reply:

I could not recommend SWAY Events enough. I have known Vicki for several years, and as soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted her to coordinate my wedding. I have worked with Vicki in the past at a wedding venue, so I have watched her coordinate many many weddings. She is so warm, kind, and attentive to detail that I have seen her make every single wedding magical. Every bride loves her, and that was no different for me on my wedding day! We were only engaged for four months and had a pretty small budget, but Vicki and Melissa totally helped me take what I had always dreamed my wedding would be like and make that into reality, even with a tight timeline and not a lot of money. The day of, they arranged all the details perfectly and I did not have to worry about anything. They worked well with all of my family friends and other vendors. They kept everything running smoothly, and fixed every little issue as it came up without involving me or my husband. Vicki was there to play our ceremony music perfectly and fix my train before I walked down the aisle. Working with Vicki and Melissa was like having a best friend plan and coordinate my wedding. Their prices are reasonable and their service is excellent.
