The staff at the Lake Lure Inn are INCREDIBLE! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure each detail of the wedding was executed with precision. I specifically want to recognize Amy, Shane, Emily, Lindsey for their continuous communication throughout the wedding planning process. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly. Creative ideas to overcome unexpected challenges were impressive. Thanks for being such a strong partner in making wedding dreams come true.

We loved having our ceremony and reception at The 1927 Lake Lure Inn and can't recommend it enough!! We fell in love with the beautiful and romantic setting as soon as we arrived for our first site visit. We live in NYC and have family and friends spread out across the Midwest and East Coast, and for several reasons decided to have a "destination" wedding. We wanted to find somewhere all of our guests could stay and have a fun and relaxing weekend getaway without totally breaking the bank. This fit the bill (literally and figuratively) and the actual event turned out even better than we could have ever dreamed. Patrick gave us our first tour and became our main point of contact throughout the entire process. Thank goodness for Patrick - I can't say enough good things about him!! He was such a joy to work with throughout -- especially considering we were dealing with all of the unknowns around covid. Our original date was in May and we moved it to August - even then we were very uncertain whether we would be able to have the wedding until a few weeks before. Once we decided to move forward our guest list went from 120 people to 40 people. Patrick was so helpful and flexible throughout, which reduced the stress and worry! While we are talking about Patrick, I should also mention that all of our guests and vendors raved about him. From coordinating with our vendors to making sure our guests were happy with their rooms, Patrick was on it! I could go on, but the bottom line is from food and accommodations, to the staff and setting, everything was perfect for us and our guests. We can't wait to return and celebrate anniversaries!

Patrick went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect! I was so stressed before my meeting with him, but quickly after I was feeling confident our day would be amazing. This venue provides so many great services and is truly all inclusive at a very reasonable price. They are a class act. Let me tell you, the food was amazing. The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa is magical! We visited 15 venues across western North Carolina when we first starting wedding planning, and the Lake Lure Inn has something other venues do not - charm. All the antiques and music boxes in the inn make the place feel so unique. There are stunning views of the mountains and lake from the hotel rooms, the veranda for cocktail hour/brunch, and the ceremony site in the meadows. We loved how our wedding guests could stay at the inn, the lake/park is within walking distance, restaurants and downtown Chimney Rock is nearby, I could go on & on - there is so much to do in the area! Patrick managed our event at the inn and made sure that everything went perfectly! He did such a great job and we are so thankful for everything he did to make sure our big day went smoothly - all the meetings, e-mails, and little details! He really cared about making sure we were happy on our wedding day. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend this wedding venue/hotel!!!

I had my wedding here and it was awesome! Patrick and his team are so helpful and communicative. I have celiac disease, which means I cant have gluten- they weren't stressed at all by that. They had a menu ready to go of food I could eat, it was such a relief. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a sweet mountain wedding!!

Looking for a wedding venue is by far one of the most stressful aspects of planning a wedding and we toured several before we finally decided to visit the 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had discovered something special. After taking a tour of the Inn we sat down with Patrick to go through how we envisioned our big day. Patrick put together a detailed proposal outlining everything for us and then arranged for us to come back a week later to tour Haynes Hill Estate. We had absolutely no idea how breath taking this spot was. Nestled in the trees looking over the Inn and Lake Lure with a view all the way up the gorge we had found our dream ceremony location. Patrick was by our side throughout the entire planning process and ensured every detail was perfect. He’s like a magician - you say his name or even think about him and he appears, usually with the perfect solution, and always with a little hop and big smile! Patrick, Alyssa, Aaron, Margaret (who also made our delicious wedding cake) and their team are without a doubt one of the most talented in the business. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly and welcoming; even the owners of the Inn & Estate stepped in to assist on our wedding day when a random afternoon shower required us to move all our guests up to their patio until the rain passed. They were out there with the rest of the team wiping down seats and getting things cleaned up so we could proceed with our ceremony. We could not have asked for more from this team and could not imagine a more perfect day! Thank you to our new Lake Lure family, we can’t wait to visit with you again soon!

The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa was the perfect location for our wedding. It offered amazing views for our guests and for our ceremony to the reception. The level of service, quality of food and constant communication with staff; especially Aaron made everything worth it! We can't wait to go back for our one year anniversary!!!

Great experience. We're very satisfied with the service we received during our wedding. Allyssa was exceptional. She made sure every detail was covered all throughout and in a timely manner. She was always reachable and willing to accommodate any special needs or requests. Mostly everything is included within their package, except for the photographer, officiant, and decorator, for which they have good recommendations. They have plenty of packages to choose from. Prices are very reasonable.

So happy we decided to go with the lake lure inn and spa. We had our wedding at the Lake Side gazebo and it was absolutely beautiful. Allyssa was exceptional and made us feel comfortable through the entire process. It even rained on our wedding day and she still made sure things ran smoothly . She was always reachable and always emailed us back very timely. Mostly everything is included within their package, except for the photographer and DJ, which also helped make the process very easy. We would certainly recommend this venue to anyone that asked and want to again thank you Allyssa- you helped us make a day we will never forget!

My wedding was everything I hoped it would be and a big part of that was thanks to the 1927 Lake Lure Inn staff, Patrick especially. he was so instrumental in helping with everything coming together and on the day of was so helpful in so many ways. I can't thank him and everyone enough! We highly recommend having your wedding here so you can have just as an amazing experience as we did.

Wow! Gorgeous venue, excellent customer service from start to finish. And Patrick! He is the best in the industry. He made our event magical. He was there with us from start to finish. He goes above and beyond. I don't have enough words to adequately explain the help and attention to details he offers the bride and groom. My guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended. The food was delicious!! Seriously. And the whole event ran so smoothly. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Allyssa was a joy to work with throughout; very accommodating and quick to reply to all our questions. The venue was perfect for our rehearsal dinner, and everything was handled flawlessly. The food was excellent and the staff were all very professional and made sure everyone was taken care of all evening.

Our experience with The Lake Lure Inn & Spa was nothing short of amazing. Beautiful hotel nestled in the mountains on a gorgeous lake. The entire hotel staff is the friendliest, and most helpful and accommodating group of people I've ever worked with, and Patrick is simply the best! He went above and beyond to ensure our daughter's wedding day was perfect, and it truly was. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I fell in love with this place as soon as I went for a tour. It was the perfect setting for our wedding - mountains, lake, a romantic venue, and bonus- dog friendly! But mostly, I can't speak more highly of the people who work here. They were unbelievably nice and patient with not only me, but my entire wedding guest list. The food was delicious ALL weekend--seriously SO GOOD! I worked directly with Allyssa, and she was AMAZING. She was so easy to work with and our weekend was completed on schedule! Fantastic venue!

I do not know where to start. My wife and I were married at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn about a week and a half ago. I should start at the beginning. Allyssa is amazing! We couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was always available to answer any question we had. Our guest count literally doubled and she handled it like it was no big deal. She was a lot of fun during our tasting and planning session and was also very knowledgeable about what would be good for our wedding. Now the wedding itself was amazing! Every single person on the staff was incredibly nice, mind blowing nice! They were always there to help and always kept my drink full! They helped us with whatever setting up we had and requests on the day of the wedding. The hotel itself is really great and only adds to however you decide to decorate. The rooms are also clean and nicely decorated. All of our guests that stayed the night loved it! We couldn't have asked for one single thing different or better. Everything was absolutely perfect!

We are SO happy we had our wedding weekend at the Lake Lure Inn. All of the staff were truly top-notch but Allyssa and Patrick deserve huge shoutouts for their attention to detail and exceptional customer service. We worked with Allyssa a ton leading up to the big day and were able to really customize our wedding to be exactly how we wanted, not based on a set package... and the event team did everything to make it such a perfect experience!! Our Friday night welcome bonfire got rained out, but the Inn had an awesome backup plan indoors that had our friends surrounding a delicious chocolate fountain and dancing the night away instead! We had a larger wedding (130) for the venue and they were super accommodating about holding nearly every room in our room block for over a year too - and it was so much fun to have all of our guests in one place all weekend long! The wedding food was sooo good and we got a lot of compliments on that too!! We can't wait to come back for anniversaries and future celebrations. THANK YOU, Allyssa and Lake Lure team!!

My beautiful wife and I had our first date at Lake Lure 27 years ago and we recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary by renewing our vows at the lake Lure Inn. The staff, food and atmosphere were incredible and made our special day even more special thanks to their amazing attention to detail and service. I cannot express how fantastic the entire experience was from the planning to the actual event. If you have a special day to celebrate then look no farther, the Lake Lure Inn can certainly make your day a memorable experience.

We were so happy to have chosen this venue. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and eager to make our special day run as smooth as possible. Everything we asked for was accommodated, and our guests raved about the location, the service, the food, the cake, everything. Even though they had multiple other weddings that weekend (I picked the busiest time of the year), it felt as though we were the only group there. The weekend was exactly what we envisioned. Could not recommend them more highly.

The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa was an absolute dream. We got married there on a Friday and had the bonfire on the beach as our rehearsal dinner (I would strongly recommend doing this!). All food is catered on site, and the food was outstanding. My husband and I are obsessed with history and past presidents, and this venue was stylish while antiquated. Allyssa was a brilliant coordinator and I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. She was responsive, professional, and so down to earth during the whole process. Weddings can be stressful, but she was unflappable and sincere throughout it all. The outdoor veranda and gardens were lush with flowers and the inn was nice enough to trim the grass the morning of our wedding. We honestly couldn't have picked a better venue, and are pleased as punch with how everything turned out. It was worth every penny!

From the moment my fiance, at the time, visited The 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa we knew this would be our venue for our August wedding. The staff was so amazing and made us feel like family. Many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Thanks to Allyssa Dixon (venue coordinator) for being a rock star and making it all come together. We will certainly be back year after year to celebrate our love and marriage. This venue is a gem in the mountains!!!
