My husband and I got married at The Astorian on 8/13/22. Our experience could not have been ANY better. From the service to the catering to the bartending to the venue to the staff.. everything was absolutely perfect. Courtney was the person we worked with at The Astorian. I asked her 1 million questions and she was always happy to respond to me with an answer. Our experience was indescribable and truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives. THANK YOU!

The Astorian was the perfect wedding venue for us! Everything from the bride and groom suites to the Houston skyline at night was beautiful. Working with Dani and Courtney made the process so easy. They were quick to respond to emails and we’re a huge help when it came to making the floor plan. They allowed me to take my bridal photos one afternoon while the venue was empty. I’m so glad I did because it was the perfect setting. Even without extra decor, the space is just beautiful. We keep hoping one of our friends will get married there so we can go back! We highly recommend.

The Astorian has always been my dream venue and to host my wedding there was exactly that, a dream. The team was so great to work with and Deborah made it such a seamless and enjoyable experience. They even assisted my caterers and decor team with the major room flip during cocktail hour! One specific memory I had was that Daniel and the team made me special non-alcoholic signature cocktails and provided zero proof champagne. It really meant a lot that I got to partake with the rest of my guests and my husband. It's details like that that you really cannot put value to. I can't recommend this venue enough!

My wife and I were recently married at The Astorian. We could not have found a better indoor venue for our wedding. From the beginning, Deborah, the GM, made us feel like their best clients. She was attentive to our every detail and desire. She worked closely with our wedding planner and other vendors to make sure our special day was perfectly executed. The staff from Jackson and Co. Catering was superb, as well as the gourmet food. Even the owners, Joe and Romain, made themselves available and attentive to our interests. We feel like they are all family.

I truly cannot find strong enough of words to describe our experience with The Astorian for our wedding. We feel so blessed to have been able to hold our wedding with this absolutely stunning venue. Our experience from the very beginning with the entire staff was superb. The entire staff was so helpful in connecting us with our vendors. I trusted every recommendation from Joe Pachouli and Deborah Rizzo, and both of their care and expertise was extremely impressive and appreciated. We were connected to our incredible Wedding Planner: Kiran + Leigh, our unbelievable photographer: Aisha Kahn and the most superb catering company: Jackson and Company Catering and from the very first day in planning to the very last hour everything was seamlessly planned out and performed to give us and our family and friends an incredible experience that we will remember and treasure forever. Again, I cannot find the right words to express how impressed and deeply appreciative we are to be able to say that we had our wedding at The Astorian.

The Astorian was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding! We had our hearts set on this venue, but when Covid hit, weren't sure what our wedding would look like. They were responsive, accommodating, and just overall pleasant to work with, even as plans changed so frequently as covid numbers rose and fell. I am so grateful for Season and the team at the Astorian!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Astorian! This venue has been a dream of mine for so long, and we were on cloud nine after booking. The venue itself is so gorgeous and has such beautiful views of the Houston skyline. Beyond that, every person we worked with was extremely professional and organized. We worked closely with Addie throughout the process of preparing for our day and she was extremely attentive, detail oriented, kind, and overall a wonderful person to work with. She made us feel at ease and helped our whole day go smoothly and even better than we could have dreamed for. Would recommend this venue to any and everyone!!

My husband and I booked the Astorian for our July 2020 wedding and cannot imagine a better experience planning with the Astorian. We worked with Dani, and she was just fantastic--such a prompt communicator, totally willing to chat with our parents directly when they had questions, and super willing to work with our budget and help us think through the process. Not to mention, Dani was kind, thoughtful, and very compassionate throughout an emotional and logistics-heavy planning process. She always followed up at the right moment, and we just love her! We both felt very supported by the Astorian team and they were committed to making it the event we had envisioned.

While we ultimately did not get to host our wedding at the Astorian (small backyard gathering instead), we had such a fantastic experience working with their excellent staff. This is so much more than an amazing venue. We would recommend the Astorian because of the fantastic people who were truly committed to working with us, during a year that was nothing like what any of us expected.

Season was amazing to work with. She was extremely flexible and professional when addressing my clients needs. The clients expectations were easily surpassed once they saw the venue in person. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly. The catering and AV companies Season recommended were phenomenal as well.

The Astorian is fantastic. Alyssa helped us with everything that we needed on the spot. The Astorian takes care of you so well! The venue is also kept up very well so little decor is needed! It is beautiful!

The Astorian was our first choice. We are so glad we were able to celebrate our day with family and friends at this gorgeous venue. The staff, venue, and vendors were truly impressive.

I held a fabulous corporate event at The Astorian in May of 2019, and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Season was an ideal partner – incredibly quick to respond, always happy to talk or provide what I needed, and made excellent recommendations as I am not local to Houston. The rest of The Astorian team that I worked with once on-site was just as friendly, responsive and professional. I not only enjoyed working with them, I enjoyed just talking to them. It is clear that they all take pride in what they do, and in the beautiful space they have been entrusted with. When a VIP requested a specific bottle of wine 2 hours before the event, the beverage manager ran out to buy it for us. When one small issue did arise, Season handled it within literally 60 seconds, before I even had time for it to phase me. I can see why this is such an in-demand wedding venue, because it is absolutely stunning. Astorian Team, thank you for making me look so good!

My husband and I got married at the Astorian in March. It was a wonderful experience, not to mention the stunning venue. We worked closely with Deborah, and she saw that all of our questions were answered in a timely fashion. She was available to meet with us on multiple occasions, and she helped to make the planning process stress-free. We truly enjoyed working with her and the rest of the Astorian team. Our wedding turned out better than we could have dreamed. It's been a month since our big day, and we still are receiving compliments from family and friends about the venue and experience!!

We LOVED the Astorian! As if the venue wasn't beautiful enough, the staff was top notch. From the coordinators, bartenders, down to the custodial staff, they all did such a great job of making us feel comfortable and tended to. The Day of Coordinators, Season and Brianna, did an amazing job helping with the details. They made my life as the bride, a million times easier. I couldn't have imagined a better venue to host my wedding. The actual venue was so pretty, and the bridal suite and grooms suites were great. I have nothing but great things to say!!

Our daughter had her wedding here in November 2018.

The venue is spectacular, there is no need to add much of anything as far as decor.
Season and Brianna were amazing to work with. They made the day and everything leading up to the day run so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for better people to work with. All the staff and vendors were eager to please and meet all of our needs.

Words cannot describe the fabulous night we had for my daughters wedding on April 21, 2018. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. The expression "you get what you pay for" is certainly true! While it rained....buckets, our guests were safe and dry. This venue is not only elegant with its well appointed decor but it also is conducive for full on dancing. The dance floor was packed! The venue is so beautiful it did not need extra lighting or much additional decor. You don't need $7K of additional lighting as many "young" wedding planners will tell you. Find a seasoned planner and photographer and your event will be spectacular here. Thank you Deborah for taking such good care of us! You are like family now!

We got married at the Astorian February 2018 and have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience! The Astorian was everything my husband and I wanted in a venue – it's beautiful, unique, has a gorgeous view of the city - it's unlike any other place in Houston!

Our Event Planner was Season Olds, and she was beyond wonderful! Season was organized, detailed oriented, responsive, and was simply amazing to work with! Season communicated with all of our vendors and ensured everyone was on the same page! I cannot say enough great things about Season and the team at The Astorian…they were fabulous every step of the way!

For food, we used Cordua Catering and worked with Darla Hickman. Darla was a joy to work with and really made our dream come to life! We received so many compliments – the food was delicious, menu was creative, presentation was perfection! The beef tenderloin carving station, build your own avocado station, and doughnuts with bourbon milkshakes – such a huge hit! We loved working with Darla and Cordua Catering!

There were a lot of moving parts, but together with Season Olds (The Astorian) Darla Hickman (Cordua Catering) Natalie Dawley (Two Be Wed) and Sheli Salazar-Medina (Flora & Eventi) we had the wedding of our dreams!

Booked the Astorian twice for an event of 400+ guests. all went smoothly was done ready

We had SO many of our guests tell us it was the best reception and venue they’ve ever been to! Many guests from Houston as well as out of town; and they loved the downtown skyline. Not to mention the unique decor, lighting, and art of the Astorian. Not many places in central Houston can host a seated dinner for 350 guests and we were able to do just that at The Astorian without being crowded. The bar is huge and so great for guests to not get stuck in long, crowded lines. Easy access off I10. Our ceremony was 13 miles away and we got there in 20 minutes. The easiest decision my husband and I made in wedding planning. The first venue we saw and fell in love. Briana, our coordinator, was amazing and always helping with whatever our requests were. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. Love the Astorian and hope to have another party there!

Amazing venue! the view of the Downtown Houston skyline is unbeatable. Staff is very easy and accommodating. We have hosted 3 different events here and highly recommend it.

The Astorian was truly a hidden gem!! The outside doesn’t do the inside justice AT ALL!! From the beautiful interior to the remarkable views of downtown, this was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The Astorian also has both a bridal and groom suite which were both decorated very nicely, and were both large enough to accommodate the bridal party (7bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, hair dressers, makeup artists, and family) and then some comfortably. The decor was perfectly suited for our theme and we only needed to incorporate our colors. The pictures came out amazing as a result. The staff of the Astorian were extremely friendly and very pleasant to work with. At the end of our night everyone was having soooo much fun that they allowed us to extend our stay for an extra hour. If you’re considering wedding venues in Houston, the Astorian should definitely be at the top of your list! You will be very pleased, and I’m more than confident that they will far exceed your expectations as they did ours.

Such a beautiful venue and amazing evening. Season Olds, manager, was always available to answer every single question we had in an extremely timely manner - and we had a lot! We could not have asked for a better experience. The bar staff was amazing and the entire team was able to cater to some of our very specific needs. The view of downtown Houston was spectacular and it was such a joy to experience our wedding here!

My husband and I had our reception here in May of 2017 and it was AMAZING!!!

While searching throughout the Houston area for a venue spot, the Astorian ended up being my number one pick for reception locations. When my mother reached out to schedule a visit, they invited us to attend an open house so we could see the venue at night. The minute we walked in, I looked to my dad and fiancé to tell them the search was over!

Season and Briana were our direct contacts at the Astorian, and I don’t know what we would have done without their help. Throughout the process, we had many questions to insure the day went smoothly, and they were always patient with us even with the endless questions. While planning the wedding, my mother and I decided to take advantage of their additional service as a Day of Wedding Coordinator. By purchasing this package, it included 3-4 planning meetings with a recap the week before the wedding with all of our vendors. Briana even came to my last fitting appointment to make sure she could handle the bustle of my dress. Season and Briana brought my vision to life while providing insightful tips on venue set up, preferred vendors, and details that are typically overlooked.

Our wedding day went off without a hitch….actually it was PERFECT!! Briana and Season were great about keeping the timeline on schedule without making us feel rushed. They made sure Michael and I took a few minutes here and there to take in the day. Our guests are still talking about the venue atmosphere with the vintage feel, wrap around windows, and breath-taking skyline view of downtown. Their bar staff was amazing and each vendor recommendation lived up to the hype. I can understand why Cordua Catering and the Drywater Band were some of their top suggestions.

Now as we look back on our wedding day, my husband and I feel the exact same way about The Astorian as we did from day one! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!
