Exceeded all expectations

Pictures and words just don't do it justice - I was blown away how much the space transformed night and once lights are dimmed compared to visiting during the day. Such a beautiful ambiance between Fox Court/Antioch Court, absolutely exceeded expectations. We had 105 guests, fit comfortably and felt perfectly intimate. The BMA team is incredibly experienced, made planning so straight forward and easy. Its a museum so of course there are rules but everything was clearly documented and detailed upfront, we knew exactly what to expect and how to plan. There were no surprises, nothing last minute and everything went perfectly, the staff really went above and beyond being a helping hand anywhere they could. The BMA coordinator, Alicia, was proactive and incredibly responsive in her communications with me and other vendors. The BMA has seen it and done it all, Alicia was so helpful and supportive throughout planning, and the team executed perfectly on the wedding day. They really take care of everything so you can focus on being present at your wedding day.

The BMA's approved caterers are also some of the top rated caterers in the area- another huge benefit. Its not a long list, which really means the caterers are highly experienced at the BMA specifically- which made planning even easier, truly hands-off coordination. When it came to floor plan, schedule of events, design, etc, it was so easy staying on the same page. We worked with Zeffert & Gold, who I'd also highly recommend.

Can't say enough great things, our guests had an amazing experience and I did too from the moment I booked. So worth it!

Breathtaking Venue Space

We had our 100-guest, creative black tie, February wedding at BMA with ceremony and reception in Fox Court and cocktail hour in Antioch Court. We were very impressed with the booking and planning process with Alicia. The rules were quite restrictive, but it's a museum after all and most rules were discussed up front. We found it important to mostly use vendors who have worked at BMA before and are familiar with the rules. Both rooms were breathtaking on the wedding day! We were impressed with the number of staff BMA provided for our wedding day; all being super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to spend our anniversaries visiting the museum in the future.

The bma is perfect!

Working with the BMA staff was a great experience from start to finish! Alicia and the event staff made sure my day was perfect. The event space is so beautiful and perfect for a wedding! We could not have imagined our day anywhere else. Thank you all at the BMA from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so perfect.

Phenomenal venue and excellent staff

We had an absolutely incredible wedding reception at the BMA.

Right off the bat, our point of contact from the BMA (Alicia Crosby) was very welcoming, readily available, and extremely communicative. She truly set us up for success for our big day, helping set us up with the preferred vendors, and helping answer the many questions we had about the logistics of having a wedding at the museum.

We rented out both Fox Court + Antioch Court (along with the Jacob's wing gallery), and every guest kept highlighting how incredible the venue for the ceremony was. And the venue truly was incredible, from our bridal party photos on the steps out from, to the vibes of the rooms, to the art scattered throughout, to the lighting structure in fox court, everything looked beautiful. A big shoutout to the museum staff, all of whom were very professional and incredibly engaged in the evening.

To anyone considering the BMA as a venue for their event, don't wait and go for it!

The night was but a dream!

Before we started venue shopping, something a friend mentioned to us was the importance of being able to return to where we got married. That resonated strongly with us and the BMA will forever be that place for us.

From the moment my husband and I saw the photos of long tables in Antioch Court situated perfectly along the marble, we knew there was no reason to search elsewhere for a venue. It was merely a dream and Alicia became a partner and advocate helping guide and navigate our visions to reality as she partnered with our team of vendors. Beautiful Venue Wedding Ceremony and Reception

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at the BMA. The beauty of the venue cannot be overstated, and Alicia and her team were extremely helpful, communicative, and responsive throughout the whole process, from choosing a venue through the big day itself. One thing we especially appreciated was that it seemed like our other vendors and the BMA team knew each other and got along well personally and professionally, and it helped everything go smoothly. There are lots of beautiful locations in Baltimore, but this was the one where the service of the team equalled the beauty of the space, and they really went out of their way to make things as easy as possible for us. Additionally, the abundance of stunning indoor areas was ideal for us given we were planning a summer wedding, and knew that outdoors we would have had to battle heat, humidity, and storms. It was such a relief to know that we had a beautiful indoor space reserved for all our events and took away a lot of stress since we weren't constantly worrying over the weather forecast. We can't recommend the BMA highly enough, especially for a summer wedding.

10/10 recommend having your wedding here! The venue is beautiful. The staff are professional and courteous. Alicia was responsive and answered all questions and helped with recommendations. Our wedding vision was exactly what we had wanted and could not have asked for anything more.

Wedding venue that is beyond spectacular

One of the most beautiful wedding venues I have seen. The art, the architecture, our wedding was truly a dream come true! We could not have picked a more beautiful or perfect space. With space for an outdoor ceremony, you are able to utilize 3 different spaces for your wedding, all of which are just truly stunning. I had so many guests come up to me and say how unique and beautiful the venue was. We could not have been happier. You will not be disappointed by choosing the BMA

the BMA for our venue was amazing!

The BMA as a wedding venue was simply amazing! Aside from the breathtaking art, the staff, Alicia and her team, were wonderful. They helped every step of the way up until the very end of the wedding. We absolutely loved every second of it.

The Baltimore Museum of Art is stunning. Seriously. We wanted a venue that was unique and beautiful and we got that in spades. Our favorite part was the gorgeous light display in Fox Court. Alicia was great to work with and helped make our big day amazing. They were very accommodating to all our requests including having our dog walk and letting us deliver things directly to the loading dock. We love the BMA!

Perfect, elegant, dream venue

The BMA was our dream wedding venue for many reasons-- including a personal connection to us as a couple from our various visits. But our wedding day at the BMA exceeded my expectations of what a dream wedding could be like. It was elegant and unique with a breath-taking back drop of art and history. Alicia was professional and lovely to work with from the moment I first messaged her about the BMA availability. The staff at the BMA on the day of our wedding was superb-- helpful, professional, and attentive. I cannot recommend the BMA enough as a dream wedding venue. It was simply perfect.

Amazing venue

The Baltimore Museum of Art is an amazing backdrop for a wedding ceremony and reception! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the staff at the BMA is so helpful and attentive throughout the planning process and the wedding day itself. This venue was a no brainer as soon as we viewed it! The space does all the work for you without adding decor and embellishment. On top of that, the staff (Alicia specifically) is so helpful in answering questions, providing options, responding in a timely fashion for all of your wedding day needs. It was especially memorable for our guests because getting married in a Musuem is different and a very unique experience. I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

Absolutely stunning

Having our wedding at the BMA was hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made. Absolutely stunning and took everyone's breath away with the décor, helpful assistance from staff, smooth transitionings, and beautiful pictures. We would absolutely recommend having a wedding here for anyone who is looking into this location. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We had our wedding at the museum on September 10th, 2022. Our ceremony was outside on the West Lawn, the cocktail hour in Antioch Court, and our reception in Fox Hall. You can’t ask for a more beautiful venue that requires very little decor due to its natural beauty. Alicia was wonderful to work with and always responded promptly and with all the information you needed.

Communicative, Smooth, and Effective Coordination

With the BMA being one of the pillars of traditional style and beauty in the city of Baltimore, we were very happy and excited to host our wedding at this venue. The courts were spacious, unique, and grand and we couldn’t as for much more as we hosted such a large party. Alicia was more than helpful during the process, with her timely responses, effective coordination, and helpful decision-making. Me and my spouse have been more than pleased with how everything had turned out, despite postponements from the pandemic, which were also make easy with the help of Alicia throughout the process. The other team members at the BMA were also very helpful with their responsive assistance on the day of. Everything was phenomenal. A million thanks to the BMA, Ms. Alicia Crosby, and everyone involved!

BMA was BMYayyy!!!

Beautiful venue, fair price and great BMA personnel. Alicia was wonderful, personable and very flexible with the bridal party and coordinator. She kept us informed of any venue changes, and helped us with the insurance process, which we knew little about. I would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking to do a classy affair! We used both Fox Court and Antioch for our ceremony/reception and cocktail hour! Beautiful transition to all phases.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful experience getting married at the BMA. Absolutely love the location and all of the people we have worked with. Alicia is very responsive and professional. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience! The venue is gold.
