I frequently talk about how much I love The Barns of Madison County. I photographed my couple's engagement session there in the summer and their wedding there in the fall and both were spectacular. Allison and Robert were so kind and made us feel right at home. They've built up quite a beautiful venue with perfect views of the Shenandoah in all four seasons. As a photographer, I'm in love: they've provided perfect indoor spaces with large windows and a beautiful house, lots of outdoor shaded areas, a perfect patio in between the two barns, and amazing views in every direction. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! -

Alison, the venue manager was extremely responsive, helpful, flexible, and accommodating. We held our 70 person wedding here - the venue was perfect for this size. The landscape was stunning and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and scenery were for the November 2nd wedding. If you’re looking for something all inclusive this wouldn’t be it but the unique and beautiful setting, environment, and experience are well worth the amazing photos and memories. -

The Barns of Madison County was the best decision we could've made for our venue! We used them for both our ceremony and reception. From start to finish, their team was accommodating, professional, and so fun to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous, and offers an experience that makes you feel like you're in your own little world. Our guests are still raving about the views and the beauty of the barns.
We are ready to do it all over again!!! Love this place!!! -

The Barns of Madison County was everything we wanted for our wedding venue and more. We basically fell in love with the venue as soon as we drove up. The Barns have been beautifully restored yet maintain their historic charm, and the farmhouse on the property is like walking through an HGTV show. Alison and Robert were the most down to earth people and happy to help in any way they could, whether it be a request for the coordinates of the arbor at the venue, vendor suggestions, or help visualizing the different layout options for the day of. They made us feel like family and were so sweet and accommodating. The pictures really do not do it justice, you have to go see it for yourself! -

The views from this venue are absolutely breathtaking, and the people here could not be any kinder! From the moment my husband and I set foot on the property, we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. The barns are beautifully rustic and decorated so well with the lights and ivy. My husband and I got married inside the larger barn because of the high temperatures and wind that day, and it was still so perfect! All of our guests said they loved the property. I honestly could not recommend this place enough. Go out and visit - you will definitely not be disappointed :) -

Rachel Sent on 06/06/2018This venue has so much character. The barn is beautifully redone but keeps its old time charm. The sparkle of the hanging lights at night with the backdrop of Old Rag Mountain is simply breathtaking. Unlike any other barn wedding venues I have seen in Virginia.
