I had the best experience shopping at Couture Closet for my wedding dress. They are SO kind and helpful. Allison was so much fun to work with - she helped every step of the way.. patient and encouraging as I tried on the widest range of dresses!! The price ranges were also more approachable than some other shops I went to in Louisville, KY. I was able to bring a good group of my sisters, friends, mom, and mother-in-law with me as well. We had a great experience. Additionally, the Couture Closet staff was so helpful in recommending alterations, steaming my dress the week of and coordinating a pick up. They made it all SO easy. Thank you to the Couture Closet staff!!

Love this shop!
My experience here was so wonderful everyone was so nice and informative they really care about your vision as well as your budget and the dresses were so beautiful and I found the perfect dress.The Couture Closet's reply:

Tera was so amazing!! I sent her some photos of what I thought I wanted and the 3rd dress I tried on was it! She was so helpful, happy and excited for me. The experience was so fun and enjoyable. And she was so helpful providing lists of seamstresses. Overall a wonderful experience! Would recommend them to everyone!The Couture Closet's reply:

The team at Couture Closet is incredibly supportive, patient, and great at what they do. The range of dress styles is wide and the majority of dresses are under $2,000. They did a great job at helping me find my preferred style and designer and ultimately the perfect dress. They had great recommendations for alterations as well as a large selection of accessories. From the moment I made my appointment at Couture Closet, it was a magical experience. Between the sweet town and beautiful storefront, it was magical from the beginning. I had an idea of what type of dress I wanted. Lauren + Tera selected all of the styles I described and a few of their own that they thought I might like. I ended up choosing a dress I never would've picked if it weren't for Lauren and Tera! I picked a beautiful Madi Lane gown that was perfect for my beautiful Fall wedding. Nothing compares to the experience I had at Couture Closet. Also, the selection was beautifully selected and catered to every type of bride. Much love to Couture Closet!The Couture Closet's reply:

Look no further! This adorable boutique and the level of care they put into each bride is truly a one of a kind experience you won’t find anywhere else. They genuinely care about each bride who walks in their store and will do whatever it takes to help you find your dream gown. I was so nervous about shopping, that I wouldn't fit in anything and nothing would look good. Tera at The Couture Closet was amazing, and really knowledgable and helpful! She wasn't pushy at all, ready to intervene if there were naysayers (there weren't because everything was gorgeous) and helped me find what I wanted in our budget. I would absolutely recommend them! They were so great that on my first trip to try things on, I ended up saying yes to my dress!The Couture Closet's reply:

The ladies at The Couture Closet made my dress buying experience perfection! Of the three shops I went to I not only found my dream dress with them but also had the best experience. I could not be more thankful to the ladies of Couture Closet for helping me find my dream dress – they never rushed my appointment and really made me feel like they truly cared about me finding the perfect dress, no matter how long it took. Couture Closet was my first stop from the airport, and I'm so glad it was!
While I am originally from Louisville, I grew up and currently live in San Diego. However, I want to get married in my home state of Kentucky. Multiple family members recommended I go look at dresses at Couture Closet while I was in town. I ended up having to go straight to my appointment from the airport due to some very last minute change in plans. I was overwhelmed with how kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine everyone was. Brooke was especially patient with me, as I had no idea what I wanted and had never tried on any dresses before. She helped me find my wedding dress, and I could not be more thankful and excited! If only every aspect of planning a wedding was as easy and fun as finding my dress at Couture Closet. I would recommend Couture Closet to any bride, no matter if you are local or from across the country like me! They truly made this California girl feel so loved and right back at home. I had an amazing shopping experience at Couture Closet. The staff were extremely flexible with my schedule because I was travelling from out of town. I wore my grandmother's dress during my ceremony, and CC not only helped me find the perfect veil, but also let me try the vintage dress on in the store. I also purchase my second "party" dress at CC and absolutely loved it. My experience was stress-free and I would highly encourage all brides to give them a visit. -

Holy crap, Couture Closet is hands down the BEST!!! place to shop for a wedding dress! I had been to two different bridal shops before my appointment with Couture Closet and both couldn not compare with the level of service and the super fun experience that CC offered. The knowledge and variety of plus size gowns that CC had was OUTSTANDING!! I tried on so many wonderful dresses and Lauren and Tera had the perfect understanding of what I was looking for. From the moment I walked into the shop to the moment I left with my dress (and beyond, as they follow up with their brides) I was celebrated and treated with kindness - I always left that shop feeling like a million bucks! I will never stop singing praises for Couture Closet and would highly recommend them to any bride!The Couture Closet's reply:

Although I came to Couture knowing exactly what dress I wanted and it was my first one I tried on.. They carry Hayley Paige and I absolutely fell in love with my dress!! They are so kind at Couture. I could not have asked for a better experience in finding my dream dress. I would HIGHLY recommend you go to Couture! You will never regret that decision.The Couture Closet's reply:

Miranda Sent on 09/05/2018Just WOW! These ladies really helped make my dream day possible. I struggled with selecting a dress and had gone to many different stores prior. The attention to detail given to my family and I upon our visit was really what provided us with the BEST shopping experience, which ended up in THE prefect dress. Cannot recommend them enough!

I didn't expect to find THE dress on my first outing, but their selection was amazing and the last dress was the ONE! It took a week or two longer than expected to get my dress in, but it was perfect and the ladies were very communicative. They offer great gifts and a list of suggested/recommended seamstresses. We loved our trips to The Couture Closet!!

Liz Sent on 10/22/2017I had to most amazing experience at Couture closet from beginning to end! I would highly recommend them to any bride! My group and I were greeted with the sweetest snacks and drinks as we first walked in at the initial consultation, and then every single dress in the store was beautiful, unique, currently in style, and perfect for any taste. I found my perfect dress and had so much fun doing it! All of the ladies were so sweet and helpful. They also offered free steaming the week of the wedding, and made it so easy for me to have my dress looking perfect for my perfect day! Finally, I got my dress on sample sale and saved a ton of money!
