  Derek Mack Band is simply the best!

  Derek Mack Band is simply amazing! They are great musicians and we have been using them for the last 3 NYE parties and our crowd absolutely loves them! They are professional and very easy to work with and the range of music they play is amazing! They keep people on the dance floor!

  Very good band

  This band played at our 100th Gala in 2022. Our guests liked them so well that we decided to hire them again for our 2023 Gala. They were set up on time and played all of our requested songs. They are an awesome band, and I would recommend them to anyone.

  Wedding band of my dreams!!!

  Where to begin? The Derek Mack Band was first recommended to us by our photographer. I asked her, of all the weddings she had worked, was there a band that stood out to her? Without hesitation, she named the Derek Mack Band. I reached out to the number on their website page and was connected directly to Derek; he was kind, professional, and I knew it was a perfect fit. In the months leading up the to the wedding, we were able to see some of Derek’s band and trio performances throughout south Florida. We loved being able to get to know and build a rapport with them prior to the big day. For the wedding day, Derek coordinated a string quartet to play for our ceremony. They were amazing, had a huge repertoire, and played all the pieces we hoped for. For our cocktail hour, we wanted something jazzy, but subdued to allow for conversation. Derek arranged for one of his sax players to entertain for the hour. It was AMAZING, so many of our guests mentioned how much they loved watching and listening to him play. Now for the real moment. The reception with the full 10 piece band… There are no words to describe how incredible they were. From the requested songs for the first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dances to keeping the dance floor packed the entire night- it was everything I could have dreamed or hoped for. They read the room and played a perfect mix of songs from all genres to keep the energy high. I felt like I was at a private concert, singing at the top of my lungs to every song. The two female vocalists were like having Whitney Houston and Beyoncé front stage. The horns. Drums. Everything. I had the time of my life at my wedding largely in part to this amazing band. Our wedding guests continue to talk about the band as the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. Derek, thank you for making my dreams come true. Booking the Derek Mack Band is the best decision you can make for your wedding or event. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Collins Wedding

  Derek went above and beyond our expectations! He provided music and PA for the ceremony, cocktail hour, introductions and first dances, which were performed live flawlessly! The band was fantastic and their energy was infectious! They truly are the best of the best! All of our guests were impressed with their diversity and talent. They made the party. By far the best investment we made for the reception!

  The best band in the biz!

  Derek Mack and his team are the most entertaining wedding band we've ever seen or heard, and we've been to a lot of weddings! We hired him for our wedding at The Colony in Palm Beach and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. All of our guests were raving about our wedding and how fun it was all thanks to Derek and his team. From the first time we met him all the way up to minutes before the reception, Derek promised us "don't worry, we're going to make sure it's a great party" - and he totally delivered. The whole band sounded FANTASTIC and made it the most fun wedding we could imagine which is exactly what my wife and I wanted. So many of our guests came up to us and told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and Derek is to thank for that. If you're looking for a fun band that can deliver exactly what you want look no further than the Derek Mack Band. We highly recommend him. He's professional, a great entertainer, and most importantly an all-around nice guy. Thank you, Derek!!

  The best band!

  Music was a priority for our black tie wedding. We wanted our guests to dance and have fun all night long. The Derek Mack Band went above and beyond! Derek is a true professional. We had a 2 hour visit the week before our wedding to discuss music and get to know each other. I gave Derek our wish list for music but also told him to play what he thinks is best. We love 60,70,80,90,and country music!
  
  Our lead singer was a young Tina Turner. A beautiful women, in a rock’in outfit, amazing energy, and could sing like you wouldn’t believe. We had a sax player as well that knocked our socks off. The whole 9 piece band was phenomenal.
  
  I can’t articulate in words how phenomenal this band is. If you want an upscale, very professional band then Derek Mack is who you need.

  The Dereck Mack Band Made Our Wedding Perfect!

  We would recommend The Dereck Mack Band over and over again! There was not a single person sitting all night. They are truly talented, friendly and the best. Their song list and ability to learn a new song is impeccable. Not to mention they opened with a classic by Whitney Houston that took everyone's breath away.
  
  Our wedding was a destination so we had no idea where to start with looking for a band being based in San Francisco. Our venue recommended the band and boy are we grateful for that. The band manager facetimed with us multiple times when finalizing the contract and met with us in person when we came to West Palm for wedding planning. We knew we were in good hands and you will be too. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Derek Mack Band Hotter Than South Florida Nights

  Derek Mack Band performed for our conference at the Breakers hotel in August 2019 and "killed it". Our guests were on their feet from beginning to end of the performance. The vocals were amazing and the purple rain rendition is one for the ages. Awesome working with Derek Mack Band. Looking forward to using them again for Christmas.

  Wedding of a lifetime

  The music selection wide variety was great. All of our family and friends of all ages were dancing the whole evening.The band had everyone engaged throughout the evening until our wedding was over. No one Wanted to leave. Even Derek mack the bandleader came out and danced with his guitar with the guests making everyone feel special.. The wide Variety of music-had everyone from my smallest cousin to our grandparents on their feet dancing. The music sounded like the original groups them selves and not like a typical wedding band. This made my wedding extra special as we have many musicians in our family everybody was really impressed I highly recommend this band it makes me want to get married again and have another wedding !!!!

  I hired the Derek Mack Band to play for my organizations 35th Annual Gala at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach for more than 600 guests and they were fantastic! Very responsive throughout the process of hiring them and then up until the event. They were all very professional during set up and throughout the entire evening. They are extremely talented and did a great job engaging with the audience and they even took a few requests but the interaction with my guests was so great! Everyone had a great time that night and much of that is because of the Derek Mack Band. Thank you!
