    We had a positive experience!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Eden on 06.26.2021, and we had a positive experience. Everything looked absolutely beautiful for us. The dance floor is large, and has the most beautiful wood floors. The bar looks really cool and classic/ old fashioned. The Eden provided our food and bar service, and we had no problems with either. I would 10/10 recommend the garlic Mac and cheese. The bridal suite is an amazing asset to the venue. It is really nice to be able to get ready at the same place as the wedding. We had 9 bridesmaids, myself, and our 2 moms in the bridal suite and while it’s not huge it met all of our needs with no problems and we all fit in there comfortably. There were so many special little touches from the manager, Cayli, like sandwiches and mimosas she provided in the bridal suite. We made the decision to have our large ceremony inside, and Cayli and her staff helped us easily flip the room for the reception. She had a staff member there at 8 am that day helping set up. In a wedding, there will always be little parts of the day that don’t go exactly as planned. Everyone is managing so many moving parts to a wedding day. However, Cayli went above and beyond to help us several times throughout the process. She is also very responsive to emails. In my opinion, Cayli shows she really cares about the couples getting married at The Eden and genuinely wants to make sure they have a great experience. She was always extremely kind to me, and helped with any questions I had. One of my favorite parts of The Eden is how many acres of land they have to take photos on. Also, it was extremely hot and humid the day of the wedding and Cayli had the air conditioning cranked up and it felt amazing. I also can’t forget how they are dog friendly, which my flower dog Lilah very much appreciated. Can’t thank Cayli and her team enough for creating such an amazing atmosphere for our special day! Everyone had a blast.

    The Eden's reply:

Thank you so much Hannah! It was such a beautiful day and we enjoyed working with you and Corbin. We are so happy for you both!

    Cayli did a great job

I have read all the negative reviews. If you can't control your drunk guests then don't invite them. If your brother is getting so drunk you have to have the EMS called to pump his stomach this is your fault not the Edens! Control your guests and don't allow your guests to bring in outside alcohol. If your letting them to bring in their own alcohol the Eden can't control how much the person is consuming. Not only that, I have seen with my own eyes the bar cut the person off and others bring them alcohol after bring cut off. If your guests are getting so drunk they are puking every where this is your responsibility to control the situation not the Edens!! The Eden is not a babysitter they are a venue for your special event. Your wedding party and guests are your responsibility and your invite. NOT the Edens! Stop pointing fingers at something that you as the bride and groom are responsible for. If The Eden didn't shut down your event when it was needed and every person was puking every where you would be mad at the Eden for allowing guests to be so drunk. So it's always going to be the Edens fault something bad happens at YOUR wedding and YOUR guests YOU invited. Be classy people.

    Excellent!!

We went into Cayli last minute with a date that we wanted our wedding on. She told us that her June schedule was filling up fast but was very understanding that we wanted that date. Through the whole sign up process, she was very good with explaining all of the details and never once tried to screw us over like other venues have with the money side of everything. We are very excited to work with her throughout this next year and I will definitely be leaving another review when we are finally married!!

    Poor Quality for Price

The venue is cute but the quality of service was low. I paid for 100 heads. We had 50 people show up and we ran out of beef half way through the food line. The food was prepared the day before so it wasn’t fresh. Only half of my guests received knives. They forgot my water goblets. They forgot my colored napkins. They didn’t make flowers for the wedding arch. I spent almost $ 1000 on bouquets and they were very small. I had 7 bridesmaids, then we and two mother in laws. For the bridal brunch we were served 4 ham sandwiches. They didn’t have soap in the men’s bathroom. This was noticed the night before and the venue was told the night before, but didn’t fix it. They said they would have hand sanitizer stations. It’s a good thing I supplied my own because they didn’t have any. My guests were told no when they asked for ice for their drinks. The bar wasn’t carding guests so my young niece ended up getting drunk. My aunt literally hates me now. Someone threw up and it sat for the rest of the night because the manager sent all of her employees home in anticipation of shutting us down early. Nobody ever cleaned it up. The DJ the venue suggested brought in alcohol and my brother got ahold of it. While super intoxicated the bar continued to serve him. He needed EMS but the owner told us to carry him out of the venue so she wouldn’t get into trouble. She made a huge deal of it, which delayed EMS. My brother was convulsing by the time EMS showed up. The manager then told me my mother in law attacked her, which I came to find out was not true. Her own bartender came out apologizing to us about the managers behavior after, which had me super confused. The wedding was super tame, hardly anyone on the dance floor. The manager called 911 and told them there was a fight before she even talked to my mother in law. There was no professionalism. The manager approached me, the bride, and made a huge scene while I was on the dance floor about a 10 dollar outside alcohol charge. Sometimes people get too drunk at weddings. It’s no cause to chase down the bride, deny EMS, and humiliate a bride and groom on their wedding day. A more qualified and professional venue manager would have handled the situation better. One of my guests caught the venue owner stating “what a way to remember your wedding, your brother taken away by EMS and getting his stomach pumped”... how awful is that? How unnecessary and unprofessional was that? The behavior of the management of the venue was unprovoked.

If this could happen to me, the most boring and compassionate person on the face of the planet, this could have been anyone’s wedding. That is why I would not recommend this venue.

    Beautiful Venue/Horrible Management

Cayli was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. The Eden will hit you with so many hidden fees and make you think you’re getting a good price, when in reality you could get a better venue with better service for less. The place was dirty because it wasn’t cleaned after the previous night, and Cayli made the bride feel like a burden before and during her wedding.
