User2148927 Sent on 05/27/2015This venue was so fun! My guests keep commenting on how the reception felt like a mini vacation, because the area supports travel and makes weddings fun for the family. Mini-golf, parks by the lake, great food and drink, and mini shops to visit. So many small touches, like the sign out front with the couples' names, a complimentary room for the newlyweds when you book, and heartfelt involvement from the wedding coordinator Evelyn. They were able to get everything we requested, from an early check-in, specific alcohol choices, and timely responses. Beautiful location for a wedding, that can be indoors or outdoors. If you love the woodsy look and feel, so will your guests. You will not regret booking here! -
User1841912 Sent on 10/02/2014The Lodge was an awesome venue for a northwoods themed wedding reception. Evelyn was especially helpful in preparing for the big event and was very responsive to all our questions. We are not from the Wisconsin area and so many of our conversations took place via phone or email. She was especially helpful in assisting us decorate and get the reception room prepared Friday afternoon just immediately after they had a large business event take place. All staff were friendly and we had many compliments on the accommodations. We asked that the staff assist us in placing hotel welcome bags in all the rooms prior to our guests arrival and they did so without hesitation. Evelyn also assisted in coordinating the dessert set up while we were gone at our ceremony. My parents chose to provide an open bar and Evelyn kept them up to date on the tab throughout the night which was very much appreciated. Nothing but compliments from this bride and groom. Would not hesitate to recommend this venue.
