    10/10 would recommend!

    Brian was super easy to work with and was more than accommodating with our wedding. Helped us with anything we needed and made our special day perfect. Beautiful place and good vibes. Will post pictures when we get them.

    Dream Come True

    Seriously cannot say enough about Brian & Danielle Kelly, and their family at The Mansion at Cedar Hill. On top of being available and flexible, helping me score some decor, and having such a beautiful and reasonably priced venue, they were such amazing human beings! Without Brian we would have never met our amazing caterers or watched our dream wedding come to life. Any questions I had, or help needed Brian was always there! The grounds are beautiful, the venue itself is beautiful, and working with them was such a pleasure!

    Can't recommend this venue enough!

    Not only is the venue beautiful and different from other venues in the area, the owner Brian was the best throughout our experience. I probably wouldn't have made it through the wedding planning without him. He was essentially on call for me months leading up to the wedding and there to answer any questions I had and made me feel as if I was his only client the entire time (even though I know I wasn't). I tell anyone who I know that is planning a wedding or another big event about the Mansion at Cedar Hill because the experience is like none other.

    Accessible and grand

    Brian and Danielle were the perfect hosts to our daughter's wedding. They were there for us at every turn for anything we needed. The best part was that we had the venue for the entire weekend which made it much easier for me as the MOB, MOH, wedding planner and florist. I was able to go the day before to set some things up and go the day after to pick up all of my glassware.

    Best day ever!

    Having our wedding at The Mansion at Cedar Hill was the best decision we ever made! Immediately after Danielle and Brian gave us the tour I wanted to book our date right away. The grounds are amazing if you want to incorporate the outdoors into your wedding like I did and the mansion itself is beyond beautiful. It has SO much character and charm, more than I could have ever hoped to find in a wedding venue.

    Danielle and Brian kept in contact with us throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding, checking in and answering all of our questions (I had a ton). Danielle helped me incorporate a bunch of the decor they have on hand in a beautiful way which I was so thankful for.

    The day of, they were both so hands on - Brian working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and Danielle making sure I always had food (very important to me haha) and even getting a stain out of my dress. Any time I needed anything at all she was right there by my side.

    We received the most compliments on the venue itself. Everyone was amazed a place so beautiful existed so close to Albany that had so much to offer. Me and my husband tried going around table to table but nobody was in their seats! They were either on the dance floor, hanging out by the fire out front, in the ballroom chatting or sitting on the patio. It really provides something for everyone.

    We had the best wedding day possible and we attribute so much of it to Danielle and Brian and The Mansion at Cedar Hill. I highly recommend anyone looking for something different with character, old world romance and beauty and charm to book a tour and see for yourself. It is truly amazing!

    Danielle and Brian, the owners, were amazing to work with and the venue is stunning! The property is beautiful and allowed for us to nail our vision for our wedding day! Our guests had an amazing time! Thank you Danielle and Brian for helping us achieve our dream wedding day!!

    Perfection! This was my 3rd (and last) wedding for my children. With the help of our awesome event planner, Michelle of Intuitions, we found this hidden gem tucked away in Selkirk. We were looking for old world elegance and boy did we find it. We also found a very caring and helpful “team” - Danielle & Brian, the owners. They were very accommodating and open to anything we wanted to do. They have a wealth of wedding/event knowledge and are eager to help create any vision. I am still getting comments on how beautiful the venue was. I can honestly say, my last wedding was perfection.

    We were married at The Mansion on June 24th, 2017. We could not be happier! Danielle and Brian were on top of everything, from the little details to day-of logistics. This was especially useful as we approached "the big day." We were stressed about so many other things, it was great to know we had a strong team in our corner. I especially loved the little texts Danielle would send leading up to the wedding, which included classy touches the venue could provide to help bring our vision to life, but with no extra cost to us!
    This venue is perfect for the creative, easy-going bride and groom. We had a blast and we'll be recommending this special place to future couples!

    We had the most perfect weekend wedding. Danielle and Brian were by far the best people you could ask for on your wedding day. They know exactly what to do to make your day amazing. Danielle took pictures for me of little moments I missed at the rehearsal dinner and candid shots for us, which with social media being a big deal it was great for her to text them right over to me and all my bridesmaids. Little things like that were just amazing they truly go above and beyond. On my wedding night they were great making sure all the brides maids were perfectly comfortable. Also that the wedding party didn't miss cocktail hour which traditionally happens with pictures etc. almost a month later Danielle sent me a beautiful picture that she had taken on my wedding day. It just shows me they truly love what they do. The venue it's self is beautiful, we had so many compliments and the pictures came out like something from a magazine. We couldn't have had a more perfect day, thank you so much to Brian and Danielle!!

    This is a must visit if your planning a wedding or other social event. Lots of room, beautiful setting in an old mansion, well kept country grounds, inside and outside or combination settings available. Brian and Danielle and mom are superb at what they do. You will always find a helpful, cheerful and accommodating smile and advice during planning and at the wedding. Nothing is left to chance. The owners Brian and Danielle are quite experienced and have many options for your taste. Your event will be memorable and most important a wonderful start to your new life. The Mansion at Cedar Hill is the best choice. Best wishes on the start of your new life.

    Brian and Danielle are amazing! They helped immensely with setting everything up for our wedding! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, we got some seriously amazing pictures and had sooo many compliments from our guests! I would definitely recommend The Mansion at Cedar Hill to anyone looking to make their special day even more special.

    We couldn't be happier with The Mansion at Cedar Hill and the owners, Brian and Danielle. Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined thanks to them. They were just as excited as we were about our wedding and it showed. Even when we had a last minute change with our photographer, Danielle stepped right in to help us with some of the best places to take photos allowing for many breathtaking shots. Throughout all of the potential stress of the planning Brian and Danielle were ready and willing to help put our minds at ease. We had many compliments on the mansion. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how unique and beautiful the setting was whether it was in the main room, ballroom, or courtyard. We wanted something more than just a room and the mansion by far surpassed all of our expectations. Thank you Brian and Danielle for opening your historic and beautiful building up to us and making our wedding everything we wanted and more!

    The staff is amazing they are very attentive to your needs and work closely to fulfill your vision. I am so glad we chose this beautiful, one of a kind venue!

    The Mansion at Cedar Hill is a hidden gem in Albany. That is what one of my guests said the day after the wedding. And, indeed, she is right. I cannot say enough about the experience we had. Brian and Danielle were extraordinarily helpful. But at the same time they were laid back and allowed the party to roll. The venue itself is very unusual. The ceremony took place in the ballroom with parquet floors and a huge fire in the grand fireplace. It was grand and beautiful and cozy all at the same time. The reception was wonderful. We had help setting everything up, and Danielle and Brian worked with the caterers, bartenders, DJ, etc., so we could enjoy the ceremony and reception. The next morning they had everything packed up for easy pick up. Brian and Danielle worked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly. I found them gracious and genuine and hope to have another occasion to use their beautiful mansion.

    Hosted a Sweet 16 Birthday party on a Sunday evening, immediately following a huge gig the night before. The venue was immaculate, perfectly set up, and responsive to our last minute needs and changes. We worked mostly with Brian, who was responsive, timely, and always top of his game. Met Danielle later on, and was delighted by the addition of her professional eye. The event was a once in a lifetime gathering, and we cannot say enough good things. Would highly recommend the venue and these people. Thumbs up!

    I am having a hard time putting into words just how outstandingly amazing both Danielle and Brian are. They went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was nothing short of spectacular. On top of their gorgeous venue – which they are constantly making updates to, the customer service that they both provide you with is absolutely priceless.

    Danielle was willing to go to every meeting with me that I had with our catering company.
    They did an amazing job with my rehearsal dinner, from the caterer they hired to picking out the tent.
    I trusted both Danielle and Brian completely; they definitely understood the vision that my husband and I had for our day.

    They allowed us to come in 2 days before the wedding to drop off decorations. They set up everything for us, exactly how we envisioned it. They were kind enough to set us up with a bridal suite upstairs in the part of the venue that is their private home.

    We utilized all areas of the venue for our special day. Our ceremony was in what is referred to as “the ballroom”, in the center of the room underneath the beautiful crystal chandelier. Cocktail hour was both indoors in that same room as well as outside in the courtyard.

    I could go on and on about the truly exceptional service both Danielle and Brian gave us, but bottom line is they are both wonderful and their venue has so much history, character and class to it – you will absolutely LOVE it.

    Danielle and Brian did a great job there place is spectacular! Many people were commenting the entire night on the beauty and details of the place! We loved the quiet, secluded ness of it all. Made our day seem truly only about us.

    I had my wedding at the Mansion at Cedar Hill on September 21, 2013 and I was absolutely happy with every aspect of the day. I found Brian and Danielle to be wonderful hosts for our wedding, making arrangements for us to drop items off prior to the wedding, coordinating multiple dates to meet about linens, food and even providing a room for us girls to get ready the day of.

    The setting of the Mansion is perfect if you are looking for an alternative venue, it is so much more than just a typical banquet hall. We used both the courtyard for the ceremony and cocktail hour and guests were wowed! Having the ceremony outside was perfect, and our pictures came out beautiful.

    The reception was located in the main room, and it was decorated exactly as we had discussed with Danielle and Brian. They paid attention to every detail that we requested. They honestly made us feel at ease and the wedding was very relaxing for me and my husband. I wanted to just be able to sit back and relax on my wedding- to be able to enjoy it instead of stressing and that is exactly what happened.

    I was also very pleased with the food. Betsy from Healthy Cafe did an amazing job, from the appetizers to the main course. She is one of the Mansions recommended for a reason, her and her staff did a great job.

    I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed my wedding and how it was the perfect setting for me and my husband. If you are looking for a venue that is different from the rest (in a great way!) the Mansion is a great option!

    While our wedding was two years ago this summer, I realize after looking at our wedding album that I never gave Danielle, Brian, and their beautiful venue the proper review it deserves.

    It is an amazing place to get married.

    When we sent the invitations everyone asked us what they place was like because they had never been to a wedding there. It was beyond their expectations and even two years later, everyone continues to remark about how unique and beautiful this venue was. I wanted a venue that reflected my style and was beyond a traditional reception hall. You will not be disappointed here, as they worked to ensure that they day ran smoothly. I am a "detail person" and so is Danielle, and every little idea I had Danielle not only went with, but found suggestions that made it even more beautiful. I was so impressed with how everything turned out. I highly suggest you make an appointment and just see the venue! Once we did, we immediately realized that this was the place!

    Danielle and Brian at the Mansion at Cedar Hill went so above and beyond to help my husband and I coordinate our wedding from start to finish. They are a bit of an "unknown" in the area because they are really only going by word of mouth. But their place is a beautiful mansion that has bits of classic, beautiful european elements that really make it stand out. They are constantly making upgrades here and there to make the place even better than before with a beautiful patio, optional ceremony area and reception room.

    Danielle and her team even worked to set-up the room so all we had to do was drop off all our stuff the day before - they typically only have one wedding a weekend too so you can really relax and not have to stress about getting in and out fast like other venues typically require. The only thing is I think they need an extra bathroom or two but it's already on their list of upgrades for coming soon.

    Overall - fantastic and above and beyond our expectations.

    A hidden gem!

    The owners (Brian and Danielle) were fantastic. We cannot be more thankful for all their support and extra effort that they put into making our wedding absolutely wonderful. From the bottom of our hearts, we wanted to say, "Thank you thank you, Brian and Danielle."
