My daughter and new son-in-law got married at The Mountain Winery on October 22, 2022. My husband and I were very involved, and I travelled from Montana twice to scout venues. Lindsay and Sam had previously gone on a date for a concert at the Winery, and it ended up being their first choice for wedding venue. It was stressful making these decisions, but we couldn't be happier with this choice. We had family come from as far as Virginia, and most stayed in Los Gatos (also wonderful). Tiffany in particular was a gem; very knowledgable, responsive, super nice. The whole staff was great, and Global Gourmet, the required caterer for this venue, did a wonderful job, too. This venue is not a "budget choice", but it was a magical day, and well worth it for us. We invited 100 and had about 75 guests attend. We also had a full service wedding planner (Lavender Crown Events), since we were from out of town, as were the bride and groom, and we were happy with that decision as well. One more thing is that we hired a limousine service, Sal's Airport & Limousine Service, (we had an executive coach) to transport out-of-town guests without cars from Los Gatos to the venue. I highly recommend this, and it was one of the more affordable items. Our guests really appreciated it.

I just got married at the Mountain Winery on 5/5/19. We had the ceremony & reception on their stunning Chateau Deck.
I was impressed by the incredible service we received from the venue. Specifically from Ariel & Pete! They went the extra mile in making sure the we had exactly what we needed while booking the venue and also on the day of. I highly recommend this venue! Not only for the breathtaking views & ambiance, but also for their care & customer service.

We got married at the Mountain Winery on the Winery Deck and held the reception in the Grand Hall for our brunch wedding. We could not have had a better team to work with than Ariel, Pete, and Kristina! They were flexible and helped us through the unknowns of our planning. They made recommendations for local vendors and designed a beautiful layout for the ceremony and reception. We and our guests were truly impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of service. Jessica and April of Global Gourmet, the in-house catering team, were great to work with and the food was delicious!

We had a brunch wedding reception at The Mountain Winery (TMW) a couple of weeks ago (Feb 2019) and are still so overwhelmed by how great the staff was. The whole process of booking and working with TMW was so intuitive and smooth. We were anxious when we found out that TMW had switched catering companies a month and a half before our reception, but the transition to the new company was seamless and we got a free tasting out of it! We had a brunch buffet with a dim sum bar that was a big hit with our guests. Everything worked out great the day of. We were really impressed that TMW staff had actually been in contact with our dessert caterer and our photographer beforehand to hash out logistics. Ariel and Pete who were our main points of contact were super responsive and proactive to our needs. April, Jessica, and Elaine (the food/catering coordination team) were also really nice and helpful. The venue rental was a little more expensive than what we originally planned for, but the space (banquet hall and patio deck) was so gorgeous and the staff was so helpful that it was really worth it. The venue is so pretty itself we spent very little on decorations (basically just some flowers in small vases for the centerpieces on tables). We really have no complaints!

Dina's Deluxe Events (featured on the Knot and Wedding Wire too) recommends the Mountain Winery as a fabulous venue with beautiful trees, gardens and floor plans for your wedding or other celebration! 5 stars to this amazing venue with a beautiful view, romantic settings and wonderful staff! The staff is so helpful, professional and the beautiful venue is a great fit for premium and luxury events.

We had the pleasure of working with The Mountain Winery as we planned our dream wedding! Our event coordinator/contact, Ariel Alvaro, and her staff Pete really put the planning process at ease. We worked with such an amazing team! We had 7 months to plan our wedding and they really worked with our budget

The entire team was great to work with. All jelled very well and very much worked as a well-oiled team, both during the planning and for the execution of the event.

It means a lot when every staff member has a smile on their face.

It was a pleasure working with the Mountain Winery Team and especially Ariel, April and Pete and I look forward to many more successful events with them.

Mountain Winery was a spectacular space for our wedding! I would recommend this place to anyone. Michelle was very easy to work with and made the process super easy!

Romellyn and April took very good care of us for our wedding Sep 23. They made sure the evening went smoothly and Romellyn even brought out space heaters when the wind kicked up and the air became chilly, which was extremely helpful and added a wonderful atmosphere to the evening. Everyone who works there was extremely polite and professional. We were able to truly enjoy our special day with little hiccups throughout the day. Fantastic service and the food was extremely well cooked! Every guest I spoke to mentioned how well their food was prepared and I can attest the same for my own meal.

I had a great wedding reception at TMW in November 2019 and I still cant get over it! It's a very beautiful venue. Weather was on our side for our late November wedding, that's a plus. Our rep, Raihni Vaughn was very nice, professional, flexible, and worked with us to ensure all our needs were met. Their in house caterer, Global Gourmet, was amazing. The guests lovedddd the food, the ambience, the service. April and Emily from GG catering worked with us to ensure the catering and drinks were under our budget and according to our taste. Would recommend working with this trio at anytime. Thanks TMW. Thanks GG.

My husband and I would not recommend getting married at Mountain Winery. The management staff with the exception of our coordinator April were unfriendly and difficult to work with. We got married on May 2017. Five months before our wedding, there was a change in management with a new food menu for 2017 that I was not aware of until I emailed the venue a couple months before the wedding to confirm meal orders I had selected from the 2016 menu. Because there was a new food menu, during an in-person meeting I repeatedly asked if there was a new beverage menu. They had printed a beverage menu that I had emailed them from prior management, and brought it to the meeting stating it was their current beverage menu. When I asked again, they looked and there was in fact a new beverage menu with prices $17/person cheaper than the menu I had sent them. Since we had a 120 person wedding, I would have paid $2040 more than if they would have given me the new beverage menu from the beginning. If you do plan a wedding here, be sure to advocate for yourself. The original tasting they offered was for a few appetizers and an entree that 1) wasn't on the wedding menu and 2) was not requested by my husband and me. After asking repeatedly that we get served actual entrees and appetizers from the wedding menu, they accommodated. Our entire wedding was outdoors. The week before, it looked like it would get chilly at night to the 50s, so we asked if it would be possible to put up a tent on the Chateau Deck where the reception was. They said a tent was not feasible because it costs $11,000 and it has to be set up for two days, and there was a wedding the day before ours. Our ceremony was on the Vista Deck, which does not have a rain plan. I asked what would happen if it rained, and they said the wedding would just have to get rained on. Several of our vendors told us they did not enjoy working at Mountain Winery because the staff were difficult to work with, further validating our concerns.
