    Our incredible experience

    We had a wonderful experience working with the Muttontown club! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day special and seamless. I must note that Lana was a true silver lining in our planning experience. Shortly after reserving our wedding date the events manager announced she would no longer be working at TMCC. At first we were a bit worried because we really trusted the initial person. However, our minds were put at ease once we met Lana! She is incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our wedding day all we could wish for. Lana responded to countless emails, always greeted us with a smile and provided great perspectives and advice. She even took time to guide me through some difficult encounters with another vendor. Our wedding day ran incredibly smoothly thanks to Lana, Jennifer and Lupa (the bridal attendant). The venue its self is truly breath taking. While we hoped for an outdoor ceremony the weather was not on our side. The venue is breathtaking inside and out and the Oak Room complemented our love story beautifully. It felts like a scene out of a romance novel. The venue allowed for breathtaking photos to be taken indoors and has ample room for our guests to enjoy themselves. My husband and I utilized the different spaces throughout the whole day. There was a space for both of us and our bridal party to get ready. Our guests were amazed by the true beauty in the architecture in each room. Aside from romantic elements found through out the space there food is also something everyone throughly enjoyed! Guests are still mentioning the beacon, egg and cheese sandwiches that we had at our after party. There are so many food choices so you can ensure all of your guest will be well fed. Lana and the catering team allowed us to create a meal that fit very specific dietary requirements too. They continued to check in on me and my husband throughout the day and night to ensure it was meeting our expectations. After our wedding day I am looking for excused to work with them again!     The most stunning elegant venue on LI!!

    A wedding that exceeded even our wildest dreams!! Our wedding at the Muttontown club was was on 9/23/23, and we are still on cloud nine over the perfection that was our wedding day. You will not find a better venue on Long Island. If elegance, a magical evening your guests will be talking about for years, excellent restaurant quality food, impeccable service or all of the above is what you're looking for then really you can't go wrong with TMC. Our only sadness is thinking that we won't be back (unless we have another event to throw or attend). Lana and the TMC team are just complete pros and they really make you feel like you're wedding day is the most important thing to them. From the food tasting, to the final goodbye and everything before and in between, they answered every single question I had, accommodated every request and did it all promptly but also somehow with a laid back familiar vibe that made it feel so comfortable throughout the wedding planning process. They had my reception completely set up the day before.. I mean just everything was top notch. If you want to give yourself and your spouse to be an elevated experiences and really wow your guests with something other than the typical LI wedding, then at least visit TMC. You'll be so happy!

    A Magical Wedding & Experience!

    Where do I even start?! We cannot thank the Muttontown Club enough for making our dream wedding coming true. During these tough times, it’s hard to look forward to a special event. But while working with Jen, the event manager, we couldn’t feel more comfortable and excited for our big day!! From the minute we met Jen, she was professional, accommodating and truly went over and above for my husband and I. Jen, along with all the other staff members at the Muttontown Club quickly became family to us during our experience. After changing our original venue and wanting to keep our date, Jen and her team had less then 4 months when we booked with them. Being a COVID bride I was obviously nervous and hesitant to book another venue, but my feelings quickly changed. We could not be happier with every detail of our wedding day thanks to the incredible team at the Muttontown Club. In addition to their impeccable customer service, the food was outstanding. Not only were our guests raving about cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. They once again went over and above to accommodate my Vegan diet and also include our new puppy Hank as the signature drink!! When you walk into the venue, the grounds and stunning mansion speak for themselves. But it was really the staff that made our night perfect. From the cheerful servers & bartenders to my bridal attendant. Every single employee did right by us. They also were great about always wearing masks.. which covered their mouth AND NOSE!! My husband and I really cannot thank them enough for giving us a magical wedding day. We will continue to highly recommend this venue and can’t wait to visit for all of our future anniversaries!! ❤️❤️❤️

    Creative and Talented Team

    It was an amazing experience with this vendor. The team is very creative and talented. They take care each and every corner of the reception hall with utmost care. I was doing photography service for my client this week and impressed about the management and catering team.

    Incredible venue, incredible team!

    Jen and the entire team at The Muttontown Club were absolutely incredible to work with from the start of the wedding planning process all the way through the days after. Jen was always prompt to respond with my many questions and the team at the club always made us feel welcome when we came for meetings/visits. They completely exceeded our expectation the day of the wedding - the staff was on top of everything and the way they set up the club looked incredible. I've gotten nothing but rave reviews from our guests not just about the day itself (which is also thanks to the club team) but specifically about how perfect the venue was. I highly recommend this as a wedding venue to future couples!!!

    AMAZING experience!

    We had the most perfect wedding at the Muttontown Club - I could not be happier with the service provided! Jen was an absolute dream to work with. She was so flexible with meetings and with helping to make our day as perfect as it was. As soon as I walked into the club I knew I wanted this to be our spot. Our wedding reception ran flawlessly!! There is not one thing I would say went wrong. You will be making the BEST choice by choosing the club for your wedding - AND ITS STUNNING!

    The Wedding Of Our Dreams!!!

    Jen and her team went above & beyond for our wedding, making sure everything we envisioned for our big day came to life. She was so attentive to not only my husband & I, but made sure each one of our guests was taken care of and happy. Working with Jen and the entire staff at Muttontown was such a great experience, and I truly couldn't have imagined the day without their support. Thank you for everything!!!

    Beautiful venue and amazing staff

    My event at the Muttontown Club was amazing. Everything went as planned. The staff are extremely professional and went above and beyond to make my event perfect. Thank you Jen for making it all happen! I recommended the club to my friend for her daughter's wedding.

    The Wedding of a Lifetime!

    The entire experience of wedding planning was seamless and delightful in working with Jenn and the staff at the Muttontown Club. We could not have imagined such a wonderful and unforgettable wedding reception. The Muttontown Club is no doubt the top wedding venue on Long Island.

    A Wedding to Remember FOREVER!!

    BEYOND AMAZING!!!
    Having played in a wedding band for years and seen hundreds of weddings, this one was the best. I have never seen a coctail hour like this. The food was perfect. Jen, the event manager, was so accommodating and professional. The venue is immaculate and traditionally beautiful. The wedding went off without a hitch. Guest are calling me everyday with raves. I wish I could give it 10 stars ..

    Amazing! Awesome! Unforgettable!

    I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive at the beginning of the process when we found out the original events manager, Mary was no longer at The Muttontown Club and we had to start over with a new manager, Jennifer Harmon. One of the most important aspects of our wedding was we wanted to have fun and not have to stress on our special day, and Jen did just that! It was a smooth transition and I honestly believe everything happens for a reason now.

    Jen had exceeded our expectations, Her and her team have been nothing short of stellar this entire experience. She walked us through every step of the planning process and did everything to ensure this was the wedding of our dreams.

    Words cannot express how stunning this venue is. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and perfectly maintained. We were brought to tears when we had our photo viewing, every single shot was perfect in the most BEAUTIFUL venue you could ever imagine. The staff pay attention to every single detail and go above and beyond for everyone.

    We cannot thank Jen and the staff at The Muttontown Club enough for our PERFECT day!

    THE MOST UNIQUE experience at the Muttontown Club with NOTHING to want for!! Jennifer and Jason treated us like ROYALTY as well as the entire membership of the Club. We truly felt special and as if there were no other Bride and Groom as important as Sam and Jon and our families. Every SINGLE desire of ours was accommodated with pleasure.

    Please RUN - I beg you

    I beg you - RUN. Short Version: 6 months before my wedding, they wanted to change the entire menu, cutting the food in half and the price.

    Long Version: I initially met with Mary who was great, we booked for our 2019 outdoor Indian wedding for 250 people. I wrote to Mary one day and Jennifer replied to answer the sole question. At this moment, Jennifer never introduced herself as the new events manager, nor she did not express Mary was longer with them or even asked for us to have a meet and great. I wrote back asking her if she was on Mary's team and she still did not respond, instead she proceeded to tell me how many years she's been working there. I finally asked point blank and was told Mary was no longer there. I took it upon myself to set up a meet and greet so that we can go over our wedding with her and start fresh!

    WHERE IT WENT DOWNHILL:
    Initially meeting with Jennifer she wasn't nice at all, very snarky and didn't make you feel comfortable as a bride. She seemed bothered that I was asking questions, and was not a people person at all. In fact she ran more of the back of house prior. I asked a question about our decor and Jennifer told me it depends on what time our caterer is coming in. WHAT??!!! We had no caterer, everything was being done through Mutton town. I SHOWED her my contract where it stated 3 course meal and no outside food brought in my customer. Jennifer had NO idea, and she didn’t bother to read out contract prior. I kept repeating the fact that catering was to be done by the venue and all she kept insisting was she’d have to talk to management. We left stressed and confused, do I have to find a new wedding venue 6 months before? What’s going to happen?

    I followed up with Jennifer several times because as you can imagine this couldn’t go on for weeks. She responded with a new proposed menu saying these were our choices for our price that was given. I was insulted with the food choice options like bread pudding for dessert and literally only one type of pasta for a station with one sauce!!

    Because my contract only stated 3 course meal and we didn't decide on our choices, nor did it specify all the menu items, they tried to be sneaky since nothing was outlined and basically say yes you can have 3 meals but your hordouves are going from 12 to 6, you are only getting two stations etc. Our menu was cut down to about 2 pages from about 20 page choice

    I was able to get management involved which we met and said apparently Mary gave us the wrong pricing – but how is that our fault!?!?!? And we would either have to walk away, raise our price or lower our food options. At this point we didn’t know what to do and we raised our budget to add more food items but asked for a food tasting.

    At the food tasting, choices were so limited and Jennifer decided to give us the same sauces for the meals, where we couldn’t really have a true tasting. Her attitude towards me was so blatant that my fiancé told me it was so apparent, even though I was trying my best to be nice so we can salvage our wedding. In the end what took us to the edge was the dessert, they offered us a cupcake with icing on top as a dessert option. I would be so embarrassed to serve the so little food and terrible options to my guests.

    My fiancé didn’t want me to be stressed on our wedding day and he could sense Jennifer would not be easy to work with. I would advise anyone to walk away from this place. They act like they are doing YOU a favor by having your wedding. It was the most stressful issue we had to deal with when we were planning a wedding for 250 people. In the end we had to completely change our wedding venue to avoid any stress and handing over our money to people who did not appreciate us!!
