    You can't beat the Patrick Henry Ballroom! The venue is incredible from all the history to all the beautiful and elegant touches! You truly feel like you've created your dream wedding! My husband and I loved it and knew immediately after touring that it was the perfect venue! Seth, the manager is incredible to work with and super sweet! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! It was definitely what we wanted for our special day!

    Seth and his team are incredible! They took my vision and make it into something better than I imagined. His staff quickly turned my ceremony into the reception for 200 people in no time and it was beautiful! They are so easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue is absolutely stunning!

    Our wedding reception was absolutely amazing thanks in part to The Patrick Henry & their staff. The governor's suite was huge and a great place for me & my wedding party to get ready in. It was also convienent to book it for Friday night too.

    We had our wedding reception at the Patrick Henry Ballroom in May 2016. The room alone speaks for itself…I loved the classic beauty, the history, and the elegant details of the space that is so rare, but also the excellent customer service! Seth went above and beyond to make sure everything was just how we wanted it and to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Not only that, but he was accessible and responsive. He even responded to a panicked email I sent him at midnight one night at 6am the next day when I had left my wedding shoes at the venue following a photo shoot. Also, Alric was phenomenal with set up. On the day before our wedding, when my table number chart wouldn't fit on the easel we had gotten, Alric made a stand out of a table they had and told me not to worry...iit looked beautiful! We truly got high quality customer service with the beautiful historical setting that is the Patrick Henry Ballroom.

    Everyone at the Patrick Henry is great to work with! They will help with anything they can and have some of the best professionalism of a venue!

    The great thing about the Patrick Henry is that it is so elegant and beautiful already that you do not need to spend much time/money decorating, which is one less thing to worry about when wedding planning! Also, working with Seth and Alric was great, too!

    The people here were so easy to work with! Seth is amazing at his job and we had a wonderful experience here. I will recommend this place to everyone! We are so happy we choose to have our reception here!

    We got married over Memorial Day weekend last year. I booked the Patrick Henry two years before, because I just knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. They were wonderful to work with and the entire day went smoothly. It was the perfect venue for our perfect day.

    Had our ceremony and reception here on 9-20-14. It was absolutely perfect. We were a little worried about the idea of the flip from ceremony to reception but it was perfect. We stayed in the Governors suite. It was the perfect size for all of us girls to get ready in on the wedding day and it was so convenient.

    Our photographer was from Arizona and he said out of the hundreds of weddings he has shot, this ballroom had the best lighting he had ever seen.

    Highly recommended!

    Wonderful venue! If you are looking for something classic, the ballroom is wonderful. The renovated 1920 hotel maintains its classic feel, while providing a modern space for a reception. They are easy to work with and straight-forward. Absolutely loved how it turned out!

    If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful venue with history to boot, then you cannot get much better than the Patrick Henry. We didn't really even need to decorate for our wedding because the room spoke for itself. Another plus is that the ballroom opens up on to a promenade that overlooks the lobby.
    However, I experienced several issues with this business. First we wanted to have our ceremony and reception at the same place, so we were told they could flip the room after the ceremony, but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Most of our vendors had an issue with this flip, and the person who booked it for us originally either quit or was fired, so the people coming in were out of the loop.
    Then I had issues getting in the building on several occasions, getting a hold of anyone, and then people saying we hadn’t paid when we had and not responding when I asked if it has been cleared up.
    Like I mentioned, I really liked the room itself, but the staff really needs to get it together. I tried to call and email several people, sometimes getting different responses from different people, sometimes not hearing back at all. There are several phone numbers, but we could never get a hold of anyone or get a call back. They need to hire someone who has hospitality experience and knows what is expected of them from a bride's point of view. This is a stressful time, and they need to be sure to return phone calls and emails in a timely manner. There needs to be better coordination on their end to make sure people can get into the building when they need to, or have a phone line where a person can reach an actual person on the premises. I worked in a hotel for five years, and while I just worked front desk, I saw what our sales people did to accommodate brides. Hospitality is a 24-7 business, and this place needs a person in there that knows that and is ready to accommodate.
