  Amazing service!

  We worked with True Cuisine for our wedding. The staff was so helpful during the planning process and helped us stay within our budget. Our guests still comment about how great the food was. Highly recommend!

  True Cuisine was amazing!

  Sarah Ridder @ True Cuisine was great. She guided us thru menu options & ideas for appetizers, entrees, desserts. The food was DELICIOUS & everyone raved about it. It is not your normal "wedding food". Her staff was phenomenal! They were very professional, attentive, and friendly. I can't say enough great things about them & the food! We are so pleased that they were the caterer for our daughter's wedding.

  Wedding Review

  We used True Cuisine for our wedding and food quality and selection was very important to us! We had family style with plated salads and a huge dessert bar. We received so many compliments on the food. The family style format made our guests feel like they were sitting at a cozy table sharing food and celebrating our big day together. Sarah was essential in preparing our menu and the Event Director, Sue, was attentive the day of. She was always checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend True Cuisine!

  Many of our guests kept telling us this was the best meal they’ve ever had at an event!

  I highly recommend True Cuisine. They did our wedding in October 2023 and it was excellent. It was a pleasure working with them throughout the planning process. They offered a variety of exciting options for all different dietary restrictions. Many of our guests kept telling us this was the best meal they’ve ever had at any event (including non-weddings)! Everyone loved the passed hors d'oeuvres, salad, plated entrees, and late night tacos. Their service, plating, and presentation was very well done as well. I have nothing but great things to say about them.

  Amazing Food!

  I can't say enough good things about True Cuisine/SBR! We used them for our wedding, and the food was amazing. We loved that they have a mobile kitchen and can cook on site. All of our guests raved about how good the food was, dinner and the hors d'oeuvres, especially the meatballs! Meghann was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process very easy and smooth. And the catering staff on our wedding day was incredible, too. The lead server went out of her way to make sure the bride and groom got some of the hors d'oeuvres and that we always had what we needed. She was so sweet and attentive.

  Wonderful Vendor, AMAZING Food

  True Cuisine was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding vendor and caterer – easy to work with, communicative, understanding, and tasty! From the very beginning, we felt comfortable with True Cuisine. Whether it was the tasting, final menu selection, or last-minute edits, they were perfect partners. Not only was True Cuisine extremely budget-friendly, but the quality of the food was incredible. Most people think you have to break the bank in order to have great food, but True Cuisine proved that to not be the case (we’re still thinking about the pancetta stuffed chicken breast we ate). Going into the wedding, we did not think our food was going to be one of the highlights of it, as we have been to other weddings where the food was just a stopgap between the ceremony and the dancing. BUT, True Cuisine ensured that our food was delicious and something to
  be remembered. We were pleasantly surprised when multiple guests came up to us and complimented/raved about the food!
  
  True Cuisine flawlessly executed the releasing of tables to the buffet, the desserts, and late-night snacks. They also accommodated to our guests’ dietary restrictions and ensured that everyone had plenty of food. On top of that, they made sure we had appetizers right after the ceremony in our bridal suite, and that we were taken care of at the sweetheart table. We’ll be recommending True Cuisine to anyone getting married in the future.

  Delicious food and excellent service!

  We used True Cuisine for our wedding and couldn't be happier!! The food was delicious and service was fast. They were very communicative leading up to the day and checked in frequently throughout the dinner to make sure we were happy. All of our guests raved about the food too! Very highly recommend you book them for your wedding or any event!

  Amazing food and incredible service!

  We had a fabulous experience with True Cuisine.
  
  The food was absolutely incredible. I had multiple people comment to me that the food was delicious, especially the lemon chicken. We actually thought it was even better than we remembered from the tasting!
  
  In addition to the food being great, the staffing was phenomenal. Throughout the process we worked with Lauren and Sara Claire, both of whom were kind, helpful, and extremely responsive to emails. We had two bartenders and multiple servers, all of whom were so kind and thoughtful. The servers made sure that myself and my husband had a couple plates of hors d’oeuvres in the bridal suite while we had a quiet moment after the ceremony, and they ensured that we had enough to eat and drink throughout dinner. All of the food and all of the staff were perfect.

  Guests) but everyone was fed in 20-25 minutes! Sue, the event director, and the entire staff was so helpful and wonderful to work with. They even saved my wedding cake because I didn’t get a chance to try it! We loved working with them and definitely would again in the future!

  A no-brainer!

  True Cuisine was a dream to work with for our wedding. Not only were they affordable... not only were they so generous with their time and energy, walking us through all the various options available from the menu, to linens, to the presentation of our food & deserts... but our guests LOVED the food! We had so many comments about how good the food was compared to other weddings they've attended. We're so incredibly thankful we chose them, and we'd recommend doing the same to anyone planning a wedding.

Not only is their food DELICIOUS, but their presentation, organization, and friendly staff gave us the cherry on top for our wedding day! Worth every penny. We went with appetizers, buffet style, and late night bites! The presentation was classy, and our guest went up for seconds and thirds! lol

  Phenomenal experience! One of the best parts of our wedding!

  We selected True Cuisine from a list of preferred vendors from our venue. We are so glad we went with them! They had the best selection of food and our experience working with their staff has been phenomenal. Meghann was wonderful from the start and coordinated a fun and involved tasting for us before we booked. This was one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process as she had multiple options for us to try and had my selected linen colors available so I could see it in person. Since they are a part of Sweet Baby Ray's we also got free bottles of BBQ sauce - so memorable! Throughout the entire planning process Meghann was very responsive and accommodated any changes super quickly. When it came closer to the day of, Meghann and her team were incredibly helpful with finalizing all of the details which was so important to me as a type A planner. Our wedding also landed in the middle of the COVID-19 Omicron variant, which meant we had A LOT of last minute shifts and changes. Meghann and the company worked with us to pivot and were so flexible and accommodating. I could not believe how amazing and supportive they were during one of the most challenging parts of planning. On the day of, the entire staff executed my vision perfectly. Everything was placed exactly as instructed and the staff went above and beyond on service. We had a private dinner planned while the guests had a cocktail hour and we had multiple people come bring us food, drinks and to check on us. Luis the day of event director was so great to work with, made sure everything was running smoothly, and responded to every additional request. As someone with high expectations of service, I was truly impressed and cannot recommend them enough.

  Great food, happy guests

  The staff was great, extremely professional and organized. We booked this before covid and they were great at staying in touch with us and flexible when we had to postpone. The day went off without a hitch and we received rave reviews on the food. Our families loved the option to take home the leftovers. Altogether a great experience.

  The Best Food We Have Ever Had - All Our Guests

  Meghan and her team were phenomenal! From the tasting, to my million questions and changes to the final show on our wedding day. The food was delicious and our guests said it was the best they have ever had. The appetizers were perfect, the buffet was beyond gorgeous and not just your normal table and warming trays set up. They truly thought of every detail and cooked everything to perfection. I highly recommend them and look forward to using them for all our catering needs.

  Incredible food and service

  True Cuisine is the BEST catering company we've ever worked with. We used them for our wedding and the food was divine -- guests raved about the rigatoni, black cherry brisket and herb roasted chicken (seriously, it's so much better than your standard wedding food). In addition to the incredible food, their service is second to none -- very professional and speedy (they had 160+ dishes out in under 15 mins!) Meghann and her team are the best!

  Extremely helpful when planning across the country

  Lauren and her team at True Cuisine were extremely responsive throughout the whole process and were able to help us figure out what items and set-up would help make our wedding fit us the best. We felt very cared for and new everything would run smoothly. We were very happy with our experience.

  After many tastings True Cuisine had exactly what we were looking for. Something untraditional but delicious. We chose to have BBQ at our wedding. Meghan was amazing through the whole planning process. Sue and her whole team went above and beyond the day of our wedding and it did not go unnoticed. Our family and friends were amazed with their service. They set up a beautiful display, from the buffet to sweet table and even our guest tables. Absolutely recommend!

  Great expierence

  Lauren and her group were excellent from start to finish. Lauren helped me plan the food exactly how I envisioned. She was very responsive and I really recommend. You can tell she loves what she does. My only complaint is that we paid for a certain amount of people and day of we had about 20 less then what we paid and we ran out of some food. Also, the tamales were not cooked all the way. Overall though it was a pleasure working with them and they made our day a little more speacial.

  Wow- truly amazing

  We loved all our wedding vendors, but True Cuisine truly made our wedding everything we had dreamed about. We worked with Lauren who was THE BEST from day 1. She was super fast in responding to all of my emails and questions, helped us pick and choose food/linens/silverware/etc. While staying within budget. At The Grove, we had a list of caterers to choose from and True Cuisine wasn’t the least expensive or most expensive of my options, they were right in the middle. But, out of all my options, they were the most responsive and the food at their tastings was just amazing. I feel like we were treated like royalty not just on our day, but throughout the months of planning.
  The days leading up to the wedding/day of, Lauren and her team were very prepared and made sure we had everything we needed. They worked with my coordinator to set up/decorate and it all looked beautiful. The venue is so small and we had a big guest list but Lauren assured me they would make it work and they definitely did. Luis made sure we had apps and drinks in the bridal suite after the ceremony. During the reception, dinner was brought out quickly and we had someone dedicated to the sweetheart and parent VIP tables to make sure everyone always had a full glass. Guests are still raving about the delicious dinner, the entertaining bartender (I needed a Spanish speaker b/c half my family doesn’t speak English and he was awesome!!), the tomato soup shooters, and the burgers we had for late night snacks. Honestly, true cuisine was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. I’d use them again for any future event in a heartbeat.

  Great caterer!!!

  I cannot recommend working with True Cuisine more for your wedding or event! My wedding was October 26, 2019, and I could not have been more pleased with how everything went. I began looking at caterers in September of 2018. From the beginning, Meghann was helpful and accomodating. When she heard that I was returning to Alaska from Illinois in a few days, she quickly helped book a tasting so I could sample the catering options before I headed out of town. My dad and I were so impressed with the quality of the food and the service that we quickly booked with True Cuisine. Throughout the process, Meghann was extremely helpful whenever we had questions or concerns. She met my mother at the venue a couple months in advance to go over everything and help discuss how things should be set up. We also worked with Erin on finalizing some details, and she was extremely helpful as well. Between Meghann and Erin, I knew everything would go smoothly on the day of the wedding. On our wedding day, we were so pleased with how everything turned out! The bridal party and I weren't able to go to cocktail hour because we were taking pictures and had other things going on, and when some of my bridesmaids asked to grab a few appetizers, one of the staff brought up an entire tray of appetizers for us. We had a plated meal, and the service during this meal was great. Our guests were also very happy with the food, and we received a number of compliments on this as well. We had a late night snack of a pretzel bar included with our package, and the guests really liked having this as an option too! I cannot say enough good things about True Cuisine, and would really recommend using them for any event, you won't be disappointed!
