    Amazing venue!

    My original venue canceled on me due to COVID. The event manager, Lori, literally made my wedding dreams come true in less than two months with a great budget. Lori went above and beyond to make me feel special. My DJ ended up being an hour late for our ceremony and she went and found professional speakers to play music and I literally had no idea because it was that perfect! I am so happy with how everything turned out. The beer and sangria was also amazing.

    Book this venue!

    We originally chose the pavilion on the creek at Vanish for our rehearsal dinner, but when covid didn't let up it became the perfect outdoor ceremony & dinner venue for our reduced guest list. Not only is it beautiful - right on a creek, big fire pit, built-in bar, awesome chandelier, your own parking lot, the barn is rustic but clean and easy to put your own personal touches on - but Lori is a dream to work with. In the short time we worked together she made everything come together and always made us feel comfortable. I'm actually glad we had to go with our Plan B venue - it was much more our style and made for beautiful photos! We are now regulars at the brewery and love the beer! Note that while we only had

    Great experience!

    Vanish was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. Brittany is very responsive, understanding and flexible with any changes that needed to be made. Plus there’s great beer! Definitely recommend.

    A+ Wedding rehearsal dinner!

    We had a rehearsal dinner there. The atmosphere, food, and beverages were all fantastic, and the owners communicated clearly with us in advance to help us organize every thing well. Thank you Vanish!

    Our Wedding in August 2017

    It was a great venue for us. We wanted to have an outdoor wedding ceremony and Vanish agreed to prepare an indoor place set up just in case it had rained on our wedding day. They were very professional and flexible to our needs. Great food, great quality beer, great experience for all of our family.

    Fall wedding with some surprises

    Overall, my husband and I are really happy that we went with Vanish Brewery for our wedding venue, and we are over the moon looking back at our wedding day. The venue was in our budget, aligned with the vision we had for a more laid-back, fall atmosphere, didn't have any strict requirements to use certain vendors (besides providing Vanish Brewery beer, of course!), and also already with some wedding essentials we didn't want to worry about (i.e., table rentals, reception chairs, etc.).

    There are a couple of surprises that I did want to share for future couples. First, and this was likely just unfortunate timing, but the venue manager at Vanish changed twice since we had reserved the space in the summer of 2021. Both times, we were not made aware of the staffing change, and I only knew of the fact after I reached out. Furthermore, the first manager, Lori, had promised that she only books one wedding per weekend, to ensure the venue was in good condition and so that we could do our rehearsal the day before. She also promised we could use some items like a ceremony arch. Now, this was not written down in our contract, so it's on us and a lesson learned, because the one-wedding-per-weekend policy changed with the second manager, Brittany, so we couldn't use the venue for the rehearsal. The final staffing change with Anne happened just weeks before our wedding, which was stressful because at this point, I had to repeat the same details multiple times with each switch. I will say that every manager was friendly and professional, and I applaud Anne for getting caught up to speed right before the busiest time of year for Vanish weddings.

    We rented the rustic Boho Barn space - it is an open-door pavilion that comes with round tables and chairs and charming lights. It also has a fire pit with firewood for s'mores, and Anne even offered to bring down corn hole for us! The plan was to have the ceremony in the grassy area next to the barn, and the reception in the barn. Unfortunately, we had a forecast of chilly, rainy, and windy weather on the day of our early October wedding. Given the circumstances, Vanish was extremely accommodating - even though they normally do not allow events in the main building on the weekend, Anne graciously allowed us to move our ceremony in the Boho Barn for rain cover, and use the Stables space in the main building for the reception instead. I don't believe this can always be done if there are ongoing events at Vanish, so make sure to talk through a contingency plan in the case of inclement weather when booking this venue! Although it was definitely stressful having to pivot our original gameplan just days before the wedding, and at times it was tough connecting with Anne since she has days off during the week (since she works weekends), the day turned out beautifully. Ultimately, we would still recommend this venue for future couples looking to get married at a brewery, and we and our guests all had a wonderful time despite the obstacles.

    Disappointing Treatment

    I first toured the Vanish wedding rental areas with Lori. Lori went above and beyond. She was relatable and knowledgeable and just put you at ease. When I finally went to book the Boho barn I was so disappointed to find out that Lori no longer worked at Vanish as the wedding and events coordinator. However, we wanted to proceed with booking the property.

    The good: The property was in a great location. There was plenty of space inside the barn and out. Private bathrooms for the wedding and a small parking area. We were able to also have additional table and chairs delivered/picked up before and after the wedding, which made things much easier. We were able to bring a food truck to serve the dinner as well. The bartender, Jess was INCREDIBLE! She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time. She knew our names and drink order and was just amazing!

    The bad: I feel as though I was constantly asking questions because communication wasn’t the best. Many venues I visited had a handout with important information highlighted and FAQs, Vanish did not have this. The bathroom on the day of the wedding was dark, dirty, and unsafe- some of the back doors were not properly closed, but people (especially children) could’ve fallen out of the back. The reception area was still dirty the morning of the wedding, the groom and officiant actually did cleaning the morning of. The grass was cut on Monday, almost a week before the wedding, and clover covered the ceremony site, which meant a lot of bees. People in their beautiful dresses and suites had to empty the trash at the venue since we had a food truck and not a traditional caterer to do that. However, with all of those cons, the most upsetting, is how people at the wedding were treated by the coordinator. Guests were talked to incredibly rude and she was clearly miserable to be there. Not to mention how she treated the family of the bride. She almost ruined the special day. When we called the next day to speak to a manager about how unkind we were treated we spoke to a manager that was very rude and started placing the blame on us and was accusing us of things that were not true.

    Overall, the wedding was beautiful but I would not recommend this venue simply because of the manager and the event coordinator.
