  A Joy to Work With

  If you are looking for a personalized ceremony, you want to choose David. David was very open to suggestions since he wanted to make our ceremony special and unique to us. He even took the chance to get to know us a bit to be able to do so. Since I (the bride) am part Cherokee, part Chippewa, I wanted to bring some of my heritage into the ceremony by doing the Native American prayer and Marriage Vase as our unity. David was so accepting and accommodating to do so and made our ceremony even more special.

  The Perfect Fit For Our Special Day

  David was a pleasure to work with! He made sure to send us many options and styles of ceremonies he had done in the past and worked with us on what we wanted for our day. Very responsive to messages and flexible. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding a year due to COVID so even though he had a wedding already booked for our new date he made the effort to be able to officiate at our ceremony as well even though he couldn’t stay longer for the reception. He is very personable and you can tell he loves what he does! Thanks again David! You’re awesome! -Bri & Heather

  From the outset of getting to know and correspond with David through Email and Zoom, it is quickly apparent that He is Officiating Special Occasions merely to help others have the Most Blessed & Delightful experience possible. With his years of knowledge, He gives carefully thought out advice & gems of wisdom preceding the Ceremony and then after getting to know his Celebrants, He gives his all in making the Ceremony One to Always Remember. He has that perfect balance of professionalism and down-home care and concern that put us at perfect ease & relaxation so we could have the marriage we always dreamed of. Thank You Again David for helping make our Marriage one that We will Always remember fondly!

  We were so blessed to have him marry us!

  David Hazen played one of the most importants part of our wedding, we put a lot of faith and trust into him and he absolutely came through for us by giving us the most beautiful and well spoken ceremony that my husband and I could've asked for!! It seriously couldn't've gone better, David was professional but personal and just all around lovely! My husband and I both agree that we'd hire David in a heartbeat if we had to do it all over again ❤️

  Made our wedding day so special!!

  My husband & I originally had asked a friend to officiate as we wanted our wedding ceremony to be very personal and intimate. Cut to a month before our wedding and we ended up not having anyone to officiate. I was searching for someone to hire on a whim and my search ended as soon as I came across David. I was hesitant at first about having a stranger marry us, but the moment we sat down with him to chat, we felt instantly comfortable and knew he was the right person for the job! He could not have made our wedding day more special. He is such a kind man and has an amazing way with words! You will not regret your decision if you hire him to perform your wedding ceremony. My husband and I have a friend for life!

  Exceptional

  We had a great time!!! He was very attentive to details, got to know us before the ceremony and was very flexible during the chaos that was our wedding. He stood in the rain to marry us and smiled the whole time! Highly recommmend him!

  Best Officiant you could ever hope for!!

  David is the best officiant I could have ever asked for!!! He definitely was one part of the wedding planning that was stress free. He made the process so simple, was very professional, came early to both the rehearsal and wedding, and overall did a very fantastic job. Not only did he provide me with samples of scripts, but he was very flexible and very easy to work with. He definitely is an amazing person and soul. I highly recommend David to everyone looking to make their day extra special. I couldn't have imagined mine any other way :)

  Could NOT have been happier!

  David was the perfect fit for us on our big day. He was constantly in contact with us and open to all of our ideas. He’s a wonderful man with a huge heart and really made our ceremony that much better. It wouldn’t have felt the same without his warmth. We are so lucky he could be part of our special day and plan on referring him whenever we can! Thank you David!

  David did an absolutely amazing job. He was perfect and we will always put his name out there for anyone that is looking for an officiant. David is very professional and has a great sense of humor. He was a pleasure to work with and made sure to listen and take into consideration all of our requests. If and when we decide to renew our vows, David will be the one we will call.

  David Hazen is the Go-To Officiant

  David was at the Ceremony an hour before the Ceremony to assure me and my husband were at ease knowing our officiant was there. Our officiant was also very professional and we loved the script that he picked out for us.
