West Light Farm was our absolute dream venue and all our guests kept commenting on how beautiful and smooth it was.

We knew West Light Farm was our venue from the moment we found it! We toured a few venues but nothing came close to West Light! They have not only the most beautiful ceremony space but an amazing reception and cocktail hour spaces. Two getting ready suites. So many perfect spots for photos! There is so much space for vendors we were able to have a trailer Photo Booth, two caterers with one serving pizza out of a food truck and a fire pit! All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was! We had the most perfect wedding and we are so glad we picked West Light Farm!

We only toured one venue because as soon as we saw West Light Farm we knew it was the one for us! We had the most perfect day and got compliments all night about how beautiful the venue was. The get-ready suites on site were a huge plus and helped the day go so smoothly. The staff at West Light made everything a breeze for us and worked so well with all our vendors. Our wedding was an absolute dream and we are so happy we chose WLF!

We had an absolutely PERFECT day at West Light Farm! We live out of state so our first time seeing the farm was 2 days before the wedding and we could not be happier with our decision. The property is so peaceful and the setting is absolutely gorgeous!! Betsy was so sweet from when I first reached out to her up until wedding day. She was extremely accommodating and flexible. We were also lucky enough to stay in the bridal suite/cottage while we were there which was so cute & clean, and definitely added to the overall experience of the weekend. I definitely feel Betsy went out of her way to make our day extremely special. As for the property, the pictures speak for themselves…it was a dream come true! Thank you West Light Farm for giving us the best day of our lives!❤️

This venue is absolutely stunning. From the location to the owners, I can not stress enough how wonderful and perfect everything was. They decorate everything for you, and turn your simple vision into something extraordinary! If you have any questions along the way, they are quick to respond and are very helpful with the process. Highly recommend booking west light!!

Westlight farm was the perfect place for our small elopement ceremony. It is such an incredibly beautiful venue with many fantastic spots for photos. Betsy was amazing and accommodating throughout the entire process, especially since we were looking for a venue only a month and a half before our date! She helped us with finding vendors last minute and was also incredibly attentive and understanding about our requests. If you are considering this venue do not hesitate to book a tour, you will fall in love!

BEST. VENUE. EVER! Absolute dream come true to have our wedding here. Betsy is so accommodating. Their decor package made planning the wedding simple. The venue itself is so gorgeous. My photographer was in love because the entire place is picturesque. There is lots of parking and it’s convenient to have the ceremony and reception in one place.

West Light Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding at a great price. Betsy was great to work with and everything looked perfect. Our guests had so much fun at our wedding!

There is so much to love about West Light Farm and the Brzezinski Family. From Betsy helping my husband plan the sweetest proposal and celebratory lunch, to coordinating a majority of our vendors for our wedding a year later, they made wedding planning a breeze! The venue is gorgeous and was the perfect setting to bring our wedding dreams to life. Every detail of the venue was create to provide beautiful photo opportunities which at the end of the day is what you have to remember everything by. We encourage anyone looking for an outdoor venue in the Alachua County area to consider West Light Farm, you will not be disappointed!

This venue is absolutely breath taking and there are not enough words to describe all the wonderful details! We had booked in 2019 and were planning to get married in 2020. With everything going on we moved it to 2021. They were very accommodating with helping us get rescheduled. This venue has all the small touches any bride or groom could ask for. We loved the little thing such as a food truck bar, fireplace, the chandeliers. And one of the best things were having the cows out near the ceremony site. I couldn't have found a better venue. I would highly recommend booking!

I can’t imagine a better venue for our wedding. The property is absolutely beautiful, and I loved feeling like we were tucked away from the busyness of the nearby big cities. Betsy was amazing to work with. She always responded quickly and was incredibly thorough in all of her communication. Even though the majority of the venue is outdoors, it all feels very classy. We loved the bride and groom suites, and the guest bathrooms were very nice and newly renovated. The value for the price is unbeatable, and I am so, so glad we went with West Light Farm for our big day.

We were married @ Hidden Rock Hollow @ West Light Farm . The weather was awful that day... Lots of Rain.... God granted us a window of about 20 mins to Walk down the aisle with a little bit of sunshine:) It was absolutely PERFECT!!! I'll admit I was a little high strung the day of our ceremony but Betsy was a saint and was so calming and willing to help in any way possible. Betsy even went to the ceremony site that morning and set all the benches up for us and cleaned off my burlap runner for me to walk down the aisle on :) My photographs from my wedding were STUNNING from the huge Southern Oak with the hanging chandelier to the Hidden Rock Hollow with the round wooden arbor that they provided ..... I was even able to decorate it myself :) My wedding was everything I ever dreamed of. Thank you West Light Farms for allowing us to use your beautiful venue!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about West Light Farm! I am so happy that we found this place for our little wedding.

To begin, Betsy is so kind and patient and talented. From us touring the farm right down to the wedding day she was so helpful and accommodating. My husband and I ended up getting Covid after our tour of the farm and put everything on hold due to uncertainty of how long our quarantine would be and Betsy still managed to get us set up for the original day we wanted. Betsy is also wonderful at coordinating your ceremony. My husband and I have 5 children together, four of them being 9 and under and a 15 year old. Them along with my one and a half year old niece were my entire wedding party. I was so stressed out about them being where they needed to be and when I got there Betsy took over and got everyone where they needed to be so I could just hang back and take a breath. Betsy is also a professional and very talented photographer. Her and her husband were just meant to be in this business because what they have created at West Light Farm is nothing short of perfection.

Now on to the farm! This place is absolutely magical. Words cannot describe the beauty of this farm. It was such a beautiful day the day I got married. I was married in front of the sinkhole (Hidden Rock Hallow) and it was just everything I ever wanted for my outdoor ceremony. We opted out of a reception due to only having our family in attendance but the pole barn where receptions take place is gorgeous. There are also multiple houses on the farm where you could choose to get ready and one where you can even spend the night that are breath taking! Transportation is provided from the parking lot to the ceremony site for guests who cannot make the walk. If I’m not mistaken, the farm is not only limited to weddings. I believe it can also be booked for various events. The website mentions romantic date nights, engagement photo shoots, and of course renting their gorgeous house on Airbnb. This place is just absolutely amazing.

We were married at the farm, underneath the beautiful 200+ year oak tree. Betsy went above and beyond to set up the ceremony site with benches, lanterns and a chandelier to help with photos, even though it was just me and my groom. Her bridal suite is clean and a very relaxing place to get ready. They also have a cart to drive you to the ceremony site so you do not have to walk in your dress. And though we already had a photographer booked, Betsy took additional photos for free that were absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Betsy highly enough. She is so kind and generous, and she made our special day exceed every expectation.

This venue was perfect for my wedding and everything went so well the day of! Betsy helped so much with all of our questions especially leading up to the day and she helped us put together timelines and seating arrangements. Everything was set up beautifully on our wedding day and they had helpers to make sure all of our decorations went up well. The day of our wedding it was storming down raining (literally tornado watch) but they still helped us in having the most perfect ceremony and reception! The property is gorgeous and we are so glad we chose this venue!

When my husband and I started to look for places to have our wedding we had already looked at a few different options here in Jacksonville, most were extremely pricey due to the area and to boot, they were nothing to write home about. Aside from that, it didn’t seem that the venues in our area would have been flexible enough to bend to our Halloween theme. When we came across West Light Farm in High Springs (Closer to my mom) I loved how quaint the farm is. It has its own charm that can be applied in many different styles and luckily, we were able to apply it to our own Gothic Halloween theme.

They have two different ceremony locations on site: Southern Oak and Hidden Rock Hollow. The large oak tree is majestic and large and they are able to hang a small white crystal chandelier upon your request. This site was originally going to be our ceremony location. One of the things I find charming about Florida is our large old oak trees throughout the state and this tree did fit the bill to my liking and my husband loved that site as well. There is a large open field in front of the tree that they will bale hay from, so you are able to have a bit of rustic southern charm depending on the season. When it came closer to our wedding day, they did have to cut that field for hay. They gave us the option to keep our original site or we could change it to Hidden Rock Hollow. In the end we did switch to, what my husband so lovingly nicknamed between us, “the pit”. Hidden Rock Hollow (My personal favorite), can be hauntingly beautiful. They had done a good bit of updates since our original visit. They now have built a wooden platform that the wedding party is able to stand upon for the ceremony. The benches are simple and rustic in charm. They do have a metal arch you are able to use if you would like, but my husband and I opted out of it. We wanted the beauty of the area to shine through with us on our special day. This natural sink hole is a wonder. It can be dark and mysterious or whimsical and romantic with the right photographer. Because of how wooded the area is, your guests will be protected from the sun and wonderful photo opportunities await!
For getting ready, the farm has two areas for the wedding parties to relax and enjoy the getting ready process. The Robert house is normally designated for the Bridal party. There’s a bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen area, and even a bed if you choose to rent the space for the evening. There are plenty of wall outlets (Some with USB plugs) so you are easily able to charge whatever you need to that day and not worry. It’s such a cute little place and everyone who walked in absolutely adored the corner window area. My photographer (Tight Photography) raved about it as it was perfect for pictures.
The Farmhouse is where the guys get ready. It’s a simple room with seating and a table. Truth be told, guys don’t do a crazy amount of getting ready so my husband and his son pretty much just hung out while I was being the typical crazy bride across the way. It does have a fan in the corner, but one negative is that the room has no A/C at all. So unfortunately my husband was quite uncomfortable for a bit of the day as he is retired military and a bigger guy and truly does like his A/C.
They gave us two options for reception areas. There is a bit of wide open space in a yard that we could have used and then there was the pole barn. Since I figured there would be a little bit of dancing (and my mother was going to wear heels when she normally wears dirty work boots in the barn), I opted for the pole barn to keep my guests comfortable without having to worry about sinking into the ground. Funny thing about this pole barn, when you visit it, it is a very good size, but for some reason after I left I feared that there wasn’t going to be enough room for my vendors. Luckily, those fears were silly. There was plenty of room for all of my vendors (Bartender, DJ, caterer, and the florist and baker to drop off their items.) under the pole barn and six tables set up on either side of the dance floor. Since it was Halloween I had a candy table set up to one side and they had this adorable little patio set-up in the back corner that my guests loved as well. They had string lights and chandeliers that were used to light up the area as it got darker. The brighter string lights were turned off to set the mood for later in the evening. To the left front of the barn there is a fire pit now that I had many people sit by (Including my mother who is always cold), and the owners of the farm maintained the fire so we did not have to worry about it at all during our reception.

There is a bathroom on site, though it is a bit of a walk from the reception barn. It is a cute little building that is a one toilet bathroom and sink, this building does have A/C so your guests can freshen up in comfort.
West Light Farm did start working with a young lady as a wedding day assistant and for a separate fee she could help with everything that was needed that day. Alyssa was very sweet and always ready to do anything that needed to be done or to help when someone needed a hand. She was there early to help set-up everything we wanted help with and she was there at the end of the day for breakdown. I appreciated everything she did, even when it was just a kind reassuring word or two to help me get through my nerves for the day!
Betsy and her husband Bernard were easy to work with and never once judged our out of the box theme. Due to the pandemic, it seems like things kept changing last minute and I got quite frustrated but any time I came to Betsy with a change or a question she was either able to give me an answer or work at finding an answer for me. One our wedding day one of my statues from my sweetheart table fell and broke into 3 pieces. Bernard jumped into action and saved the day by gluing it all back together with plenty of time to spare for the reception. I appreciate everything they went through to make our day as perfect as possible!
Pros:
-Owners are flexible
-Property is beautiful
-Multiple ceremony options
-Multiple reception options
-Spaces for Wedding parties to get dressed and washed up.
-Plenty of parking (Sorry didn’t talk about this, they have a field for everyone to park in)
-Opens early for set-up (8am) Closes late for vendor clean up (Can’t remember that time off my head but I know I was not panicking to clean everything up after we closed up shop so-to-speak.

Cons:
-Morning of the wedding party does have to park in the field that everyone else parks in instead of closer to where they get ready. (A pro to this is that Betsy does help get things from your vehicle and drives it over to those locations however-so in truth, it’s really not that big of a con.)

In the end, we would do it all over again at West Light Farm. It all worked out nerves and all. Thank you for being a wonderful part of our special day!

West Light Farm is the most dreamy, breathtakingly stunning, absolutely gorgeous countryside wedding venue in north Florida! It is located in High Springs which is the cutest little quaint town you’ll ever see, it is situated on 80+ acres of beautiful pastures and woods with a magnificent pole barn, and the owner Betsy is a photographer so you know she knew just where to setup everything to get that perfect golden hour glow! It was a pleasure working with Betsy and her staff! They were very helpful along the way and orchestrated an unforgettable wedding day for me and my husband. Plus there are cows! C’mon!!! 🐄

Due to Covid 19 our cruise wedding that we had been planning for approximately 2 years got cancelled. We first thought about postponing our wedding until next year but then decided to keep our original date with less than 1 and a half to plan it. We are so happy that we decided to hold our small wedding at West Light Farm. Betsy is absolutely amazing; she is very detailed oriented and provided so many wonderful suggestions. She was so easy to work with, her patience, organization skills and calmness gave me assurance that everything would be fine. I can honestly say that everything was beyond fine. It was more than I had ever dreamed off. My family, husband and I strongly believe that our cruise wedding could not have been so beautiful and special as the one we had at her venue. Our experience getting married at West Light Farm was like a fairy tale. Our original 130+ guest wedding was canceled due to COVID-19 but my now husband and I were determined to still get married on our date. About a week away from the day we were to get married, while looking for a photographer we were connected with Betsy the owner of West Light Farm -the most beautiful 42 acre farm. Turns out, her and her husband are both photographers too! - And amazing ones at that. I can’t stop looking at my wedding pictures! It’s a pretty perfect combination for the owners of a venue to also be photographers if you ask me.

We went to go visit the farm and instantly fell in love, it was everything we ever dreamed to be surrounded by on our wedding day. Wide open green pastures, the most beautiful oak trees and the sounds of chirping birds in the background. The day of our wedding was nothing short of intimate and perfect, and everyone in attendance agrees! Betsy and Bernard have put so much love into creating west light farm and you can really feel it.

We are so happy that for the rest of our lives we will have the memories of getting married at what everyone has called “the perfect wedding venue”. Thank you again Betsy and Bernard for saving our wedding and helping us turn it into something magical!

We really enjoyed our tour of West Light Farm! From scheduling to the tour itself, Betsy was very accommodating. They have so much beautiful land, and we loved that they had different options for our ceremony location. All of the upgrades and renovations they’ve done look so great too! Betsy sent us a progress photo of the pole barn earlier this week and it’s easy to see that it’s going to look amazing! We’re so excited to have our wedding here!

So happy we chose West Light Farm as our wedding venue! Betsy and Bernard have such a good eye, they are a great, professional team. There is something really special unfolding at West Light Farm. Betsy made sure she knew exactly how I wanted everything set up, and gave me different layout options for the reception area. She was there with suggestions anytime I needed them. She even helped me create the day of timeline. Betsy was involved all day, helping with anything she could and there to answer any questions people had. From the bridal suite with an abundance of light, to the hidden rock hollow ceremony site, this place is just a dream. We loved the openness of the modern white pole barn, dripping in gorgeous lighting. The handmade farm tables are the perfect addition to that space. The bridal suite had great lighting for photos, and it was well styled. It was a decent size for getting ready (I had 4 bridesmaids + hair/makeup and various visitors). Hidden rock hollow (our ceremony site) felt so unique with the handmade ceremony benches and jaw dropping sinkhole background. The transportation to our ceremony site was perfect for getting guests to the site quickly and comfortably. There is so much space out there, and we really loved all the options for the various areas we wanted to set up. There is a great fire pit area, and a few heaters for under the barn in case its cold, which we needed. There is an area for catering to set up, but no kitchen or water for dishware. The trailer bathrooms were actually very nice, better than we expected. My husband and I had the best day ever, and I am so proud that this was the place we chose. All our guests complimented the space, and how amazing it was. Thank you West Light Farm for curating a great space for us to show our vision!

This place was perfect for our outdoor wedding. Not only was the venue itself like something out of a dream but mrs.betsy and her husband were very flexible on helping us make our big day exactly how we had envisioned, from talking us through table set up to helping with the day of timeline. She was very easily accessible and very helpful! The amenities that they provided (tables, chairs, bridal and groom suite,etc.) were such a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders, and on top of that were so gorgeously crafted!! Mrs.betsy truely has thought and taken care of all the little things that make a wedding day come together oh so perfectly and at an amazing price! She also is an extremely talented photographer and did our engagement and wedding photos. Highly recomend all the services west light farm has to offer! You will not regret it
