  Winter Western Lakes Seitz Wedding 1/6/24

  Winter Wedding @ Western Lakes 1/6/24:
  After touring Western Lakes a year out from our wedding I knew it was the perfect reception venue for my now husband and I. Jamie (Western Lakes Event Coordinator) knocked it out of the park with the initial tour and planning. She was so pleasant and easy to work with and offered amazing ideas for decor, hospitality, and budgeting. Michelle (Saz’s Event Coordinator) was even more vital in the planning process. About a month out for our final meeting, she sat us down and developed a minute by minute timeline for the reception. It couldn’t have been any more organized and the most seamless flow when wedding day rolled around. She remembered details I mentioned months prior via email, organized the best tasting, and was always available for questions or concerns. The waitstaff must not go unnoticed at Saz’s. Vicki, our team lead, was on top of every single detail from our personalized napkins for cocktail hour, to scrambling to set 4 extra place settings for dinner, to giving us a huge hug after dinner. Food was served in an incredibly timely manner as was table clearing. The entire team made our day the best one of our lives. The golf course offered amazing photos for the bridal party, the line of windows in the reception room provided a cozy, elegant feel. The bartenders kept everyone’s beers full and consistently did so with a smile.

  Excellent Experience

  We had an excellent experience. Michelle, who helped coordinate our wedding, was awesome to work with. Great food and beautiful venue. Having the dance floor, bar, and bathrooms within 50 feet of each other made for a fun night. We would definitely recommend this venue.

  The Perfect Day

  I cannot say enough good things about our experience with western lakes. We had both our ceremony and reception here and from the very beginning when we toured through the day of, the help and support from the staff was incredible. The food was unbelievable - we received several comments from guests about how great it all was. Michelle was knowledgeable, responsive and kind- we really loved working with her. The ceremony in front of the gazebo was beautiful too. Sazs/Western Lakes made our day PERFECT! We are so thankful.

  Daughters wedding.

  Michelle, who was our contact person, was prompt and very accommodating to our needs. The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. The food was very good and served hot. When I arrived at the venue (MOB) the head staff personnel introduced themselves and was very attentive to our needs. I have nothing bad to say, everything was perfect.

  Love this place

  My wife and I loved this place! We booked back in October 2020 and had our wedding this past May 2022. It was the most beautiful place to have a wedding. We chose to have our ceremony by the gazebo. The Western Lakes team was very prepared and made sure everything ran smoothly. They also had an alternate plan incase of rain, we could have the ceremony inside. They were easy to get ahold of and their pricing was the best pricing we saw while looking around for venues. We booked in the “off season” so we did not have a guest minimum, and we also got free appetizers, late night food and a champagne toast! There’s also an amazing bridal suite to use with vanity’s, multiple plug ins, lounging room and another area for you to hang dresses and get into your wedding dress. I highly recommend this place and want to say a huge thank you to our planner Michelle, and her entire team! We appreciate you guys making our day special!

  Wedding Reception

  My wife and I had our wedding reception here and OH MY GOODNESS what an AWESOME time we and all our guests had!!! The cocktail hour appetizers were absolutely incredible, dinner was made to perfection for all, the servers did an incredible job getting everything out to everyone in a timely fashion, the late night pizza was BOMB and the bartenders killed it all night long. All of our guests raved about all of the food and we really couldn't have asked or expected anything more perfect for our special day. Jamie was great to work with, and even let us come in for a couple hours the day before to set stuff up and also the day after to pick stuff up so we didn't have to worry about it all on the wedding day. I would (and already have) highly recommended this venue to others I know getting married. An absolute incredible staff that should be so proud of everything they do!!!

  Highly Recommend!

  My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the service we received. Michelle and her staff were so receptive to our needs and helped immensely with the timing and planning of the day. We are still getting compliments from our guests on the food and service. We cannot recommend Western Lakes enough!

  Premier experience at Western Lakes!

  My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at Western Lakes and we could not be happier with our experience! Not only are the views gorgeous, the building is classy, spacious, and welcoming. The service we were given was excellent, both leading up to our reception and on the day of. The event planning team was extremely responsive and accommodating, and the on-site staff were very gracious and helpful. We felt well taken care of and were able to enjoy a relaxing, special day. The food and bar service were both outstanding (we got a lot of compliments from our guests!). We have nothing but great things to say about Western Lakes! If you are anywhere in South-Central Wisconsin, you need to put this venue on your list!

  Better than I could ever imagine!

  Best bang for your buck in a beautiful place!

  Western Lakes is a beautiful venue! Everything is in one place, the tree backdrop is lovely, the open concept is perfect, and the staff is wonderful. Michelle our coordinator was wonderful to work with and everything went as planned. They respond quickly, the food tasting was great and they accommodated a few changes! It was very affordable the food was delicious (Saz’s catering) and the staff helps you set up. Everyone loved our venue and raved about the views and the food for weeks to come. Definitely take a look if you want the best value and the best pictures!

  Sazs catering lake country is the best in the state !!!!!

  I used Sazs for my wedding 4/9/21 and couldn’t be happier . It was so wonderful . Joe was the best ! He was attentive and supportive every step of the way !!!!!
  The servers were great and the food was delicious. I recommend the tortellini , steak and Mac and cheese bar ! Delicious

  Great experience!

  We got married in January 2021 at WLGC. Joe was awesome to work with and made sure we had the best experience. He answers all questions thoroughly and is very responsive. The venue was clean & the staff was friendly. It was the best decision to have our wedding there. We highly recommend having your event there.

  The Best Venue!!

  Joe was amazing. He really took the time to make sure every detail was handled correctly and was a pleasure to work with. We got married on January 16th and the whole day was perfect. From the start of just looking at the venue, the tasting, and the venue itself and day of our wedding everything was perfect. The servers and bartenders were fantastic and friendly, the food of course was amazing and everything was just so smooth. I highly recommend this venue to everyone you won't regret it!

  Perfect Venue

  Even though COVID-19 came through and pushed out wedding date back, Western Lakes Golf Club definitely had no problem working with us. 3 months later we was still able to have our wedding there and I loved every bit of it. We was able to use the entire place and the bridal suite was a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding on a budget.

  Saz's Lake Country was professional, helpful, and extremely communicative throughout our whole wedding planning process. When it came to the wedding day, the team showed up on time, set everything up exactly how we wanted to, and the food was incredible. We had countless guests compliment the food and the presentation of the food after the big night. I would recommend Saz's Lake Country to any of my family and friends for a wedding or catered event!

  Amazing food

  I booked my wedding at Western Lakes after viewing 2 places prior and immediately I fell in love with the course and setting. I am having a fall wedding and am looking forward to the fall colors on the trees! I worked with Chris on booking and he has been extremely helpful and pleasant to work with!

  No better place to have your wedding/reception!

  Perfect Venue for Our Wedding

  My now husband and I had discussed having our ceremony and reception at the same location and had a more limited budget. I knew an outdoor ceremony would also be magical (if the weather cooperated, which it did thankfully). Western Lakes and the Saz's Catering Lake Country partnership checked all of the boxes! We knew the second we walked in and met with co-owner and catering manager, Chris, that we would have our wedding there. The way the team there structure everything is top notch, and they were all actively engaged in making our wedding spectacular. Coordinator Sara even responded to one of my (many) emails with questions while on a beach vacation, which was above and beyond the call of duty. The team even put out all of my signage, set out the place cards, and strung lights on the balcony that morning, so we didn't have to do a thing. We loved every minute of our special day, and we are still getting responses (a month later) from our guests with how wonderful everything was during our wedding!

  Absolutely amazing venue!

  Western Lakes was an absolutely amazing venue! The set up was perfect for a wedding! The coordinators and team that works with you are a pleasure and are very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend Western Lakes for your wedding!

  Wonderful experience at Western Lakes Golf Club for Daughter's Wedding

  Western Lakes Golf Club was recommended to us by a good friend for our daughter's reception. It ended up being a wonderful experience due to its location, beautiful indoor and outdoor space, excellent food, and responsiveness of Chris, Sara, and Izzy. Although the wedding occurred in Milwaukee, the Pewaukee location was ideal in that we had many family members traveling from Madison. In addition, there are nearby hotels for our guests who were traveling from Maryland, Connecticut, and Florida. The grounds were perfect for outdoor photos as the wedding was the end of October, and the trees were just beautiful! Many individuals took photos in front of the bright red tree in front of the building. We selected a buffet meal with three entrees, and Chris worked with individuals who needed special meals to ensure that their needs were met. As the night went on, individuals used the outdoor patio space to cool off during the dance, and enjoyed looking out over the golf course. Chris and Sara were very helpful in planning our reception, answering our questions, being flexible, and ensuring that we thought of everything. Izzy did a wonderful job of setting up the centerpieces and decorating the space in advance so that we could see it the Thursday prior to the wedding that occurred on Saturday. We would highly recommend Western Lakes Golf Club for your reception.

  I am beyond THRILLED with our wedding and highly recommend Western Lakes to couples in the Lake Country area. Our reception was STUNNING. Sara (the site coordinator) and her crew set up all my decor to perfection. Guests kept saying how beautiful and unique our panoramic reception was. The food was EXCELLENT! From our appetizers to dinner to late night fare, Chris (the co-owner of Saz's Catering their vendor) was professional, responsive, and helpful. You get so many great choices. Western Lakes also has a cool bar set up; our guests did not want to leave! From beginning to end, I wouldn't change a thing. You will get tremendous value and will be so happy if you choose Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee! I strongly recommend this venue.
