    Simple and Easy

    I had an event at the white shanty not too long ago and it was the easiest and stress free experience i've ever had with a vendor. The owner was efficient, helpful and very accomodating of our (many) needs. To this day we still get compliments on how stunning our event was and a huge part of that was the White Shanty. Thank you so much, looking forward to booking again!

    Best Value, Hands-down!

    We had a fabulous experience at White Shanty for my daughter's wedding. Everyone was prompt, gracious, organized, and friendly. The venue was clean and neat, already set up the way we had requested, and absolutely beautiful. Our day couldn't have been any better! We would 100% choose this location again. Perfection!

    I loved everything about the White Shanty! The venue is so beautiful and has a ton of space. The owners were so helpful and accommodating to our needs. Our wedding planner got sick and we needed a lot of help setting up and organizing the entire event and the owners took over and made sure everything went smoothly during our reception. I'm so happy with how our reception turned out and would definitely recommend the White Shanty as a reception venue!

    The White Shanty is a newer venue so it seemed like they were still adding things and making improvements. This was awesome for me, the venue just got prettier and prettier! We had a great experience.

    I loved this venue! The management is great and the space is beautiful. We brought in another lighting source because there isn't very much light in there at night for all and that makes for blurry pictures and video!

    The most unprofessional company

    This is the absolute worst venue I have ever worked with. We booked a spot, with 2 months until our wedding day. They ended up giving our spot up to someone else and not working with us. I've never dealt with a more incompetent, irresponsible and unprofessional company in my life. I would never want anyone I care about to have to deal with what I've dealt with. Weddings are a big deal and to give someone else your booked spot 2 months until your wedding is just cruel and unprofessional. I will never ever recommend or be working with this company ever again.

    Bailey, we are really sorry that this all happened. Just to be clear, you had not officially booked with us. We had your name written on that date to give you a call if anyone else was interested, but you did not pay a deposit or sign a contract. Our employee absolutely made a mistake, she should have called you immediately when someone else called wanting that day. But the other person who called immediately paid a deposit, and we had not received any money from you, or had any contact from you. There was a misunderstanding with the employee on how much of a promise the “hold” carried. We feel incredibly sorry and it has definitely caused us to reconsider our policies in this regard.

    We are incredibly sorry and tried a lot of different ways to make it right with you. We initially offered you a discount of 20% ($350-$450 depending on half or full day) or a full day rental for the price of half day (a $500 discount) if you would be willing to take the day before you originally wanted. We recognize of course that wasn’t the day you wanted. When you called again, the building owner said she was willing to give you a different day free of charge, or even to cancel the other person’s deposit and give you back the date you originally wanted, but you were too upset and didn’t want to move forward. That is your choice of course, but please understand the lengths we were willing to go to make this right and to make sure you were happy.

    Treating our clients with the highest regard and respect is incredibly important to us, but we obviously fell far short in our interaction with you. We truly are very sorry and we wish there had been a better outcome. We are always striving to provide people with the best experience possible!
