The Garten’s and their event coordinator Melissa are one of the most professional, on the ball teams I’ve ever worked with in any capacity. Highly recommend following their guidance, especially if event planning is not your forte lol! The Venue itself feels like an Eden the day of your wedding with impeccably beautiful, natural grounds. 10/10 recommend! -

We are SO glad we decided to have our wedding at Winding Creek Farm. It was by far the best value out of all of the venues we toured. The property is gorgeous enough that you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on decor. Plus, the venue has all sorts of items you can use like table numbers, candle votives, cake stands, etc. The day of coordinator Melissa was worth every penny. Kim and Craig are the nicest people you could ever meet and truly made us feel like family. You do have to go with one of their caterers that they have a list of recommendations for. We had not the smoothest experience with the one we chose (bbq) but the day of coordinator really helped us get through those issues without a problem and the actual wedding went without any issues. Overall, we’re very happy we chose to get married here and it truly felt like a dream come true! -

Truly Magical
What an amazing venue for your special day. Rustic, majestic, warm and wholesome. The beautiful tucked away meadow for the ceremony to the rustic and gorgeous barn for the reception to the bonfire to keep you warm as you raise your glass to toast your newly entered nuptials with all of your friends and family. It truly is a beautiful and laid back setting for a wedding.
Kim and Craig are second to none when it comes to hosting your special day. Truly amazing Host. Highly recommend!! A+++ -

Winding Creek Farm is the perfect place to have a wedding. The farm is tucked back away from the road and it embodies the beautiful northern Virginia wilderness and rustic vintage charm. The owners were lovely to work with and their on staff day of coordinator was amazing. I am so grateful I picked them to host my special day and it could have not been more extraordinary.Winding Creek Farm's reply:

Winding Creek Farm is exactly what we wanted. Other barns lacked decoration, charm, and interior design. We also loved the once you pay, you can us basically anything on the property so it's really a great value. We have to thank Kim, Craig (and day of coordinator, Melissa) for being so amazing and giving us everything we had hoped for!. -

Where do I even begin!? Kim and Craig are the most incredible hosts. From day one they were gracious, genuine, accommodating and SO easy to work with. The venue itself is SPECTACULAR. It is rustic, chic, charming, and authentic all in one. While the barn itself is beautiful, Kim and Craig have done a fantastic job adding unique touches across the property that make it a magical, yet personal venue. -

The most perfect wedding venue
We couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day and experience at Winding Creek Farm! Kim and Craig were wonderful to work with from the very beginning, from our initial tour to our grand exit. Their care for the venue and attention to detail was evident from our first step onto the property. Kim was super responsive to all of our questions. We asked about everything from hotel blocks and shuttle transportation to DJ logistics during our planning process. They have great relationships with their vendors - we used one of their recommended caterers and DJs, and it made planning everything so easy. Working with Melissa, Winding Creek’s Day of Coordinator, was also fabulous. She responded to all of our questions after our 30 day walkthrough, communicated proactively with our caterer leading up to the event, helped to set up our personalized table décor, and worked tirelessly the day of to make sure everything went smoothly, which included shuttling the bridal party to and from the bridal cottage in the rain! The venue itself comes with its own ready made atmosphere, with plenty of vintage and antique décor that Kim and Craig added to every time we went back to visit. We had to make a day of rain plan call – even though we were initially disappointed not to be able to use the beautiful outdoor ceremony location, moving our ceremony inside the barn turned out to be just as gorgeous, and we were still able to utilize the downstairs and outdoor area for cocktail hour when the rain cleared. We know it required a lot of last-minute coordination with the caterers and Kim, Craig, and Melissa ensured that everything went off without a single hitch. We seriously can’t thank them enough! -

Great place, great people and great service!
Craig and Kim Garten were lovely and great hosts to our wedding. They helped us with the planning and strategy since the beginning. Everything was clean, comfortable and well-planned on their end. I would 100% recommend this vendor and their magical barn for a wedding. -

This venue is AMAZING! It is a gorgeous barn that really has the perfect rustic vibe. Indoor and outdoor option for ceremony. We barely needed any decor other than a few flowers and centerpieces because it is already decorated beautifully! It comes with a day of coordinator, Melissa, who was fantastic. She kept everything running smoothly and helped us think of the small details many would forget. Kim and Craig, the owners, were fantastic to work with as well. Very easy going and extremely helpful. This was a great venue and team to work with overall. Plus the price was great AND they even donate some to St. Jude's which is amazing! -

There aren't words enough to explain how magical this venue is! Kim and Craig made sure that we were taken care of at every turn, and helped us create the wedding of our dreams! The venue itself is a perfect mix of rustic but chic, natural but updated, and just all around stunning. We can't imagine a better place to start our lives together, and we can't thank Kim and Craig enough! -

My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful and magical wedding day than the one we had at Winding Creek. If you are looking for a barn venue, do not look at any others in NOVA other than Winding Creek because it is truly the best one! Every single one of our guests came up to us to say how gorgeous this venue is and we could not agree with them more. Aside from the beauty, Kim and Craig were so wonderful to work with. They helped us through postponing our original date due to Covid and were always there at the drop of a hat when we needed anything. They also include two day-of coordinators (Melissa and Angi) in their package that were so attentive to our needs and made sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Winding Creek again - no doubt about that! -

Winding Creek was a DREAM!
We absolutely loved our wedding at Winding Creek this past June. We had to postpone twice due to COVID, and Kim was so flexible and helpful during that difficult time. And the wedding was so worth the wait. Every single guest raved at how beautiful our venue was. We loved having the farm house for the girls to get ready in on the morning of the wedding, and the corn crib for the guys. We had our ceremony in the back of the barn and it was beautiful. And the inside of the barn was a literal dream. Every time we visited Winding Creek there was something new. We would 100% get married there again and again and recommend it to all of our friends. Kim and Craig were so great to work with, and Melissa was SO helpful. She was the coordinator they provided and she made everything run so smoothly the day of our wedding. I had nothing to worry about with her in charge of the day! This venue is a 10/10 in every way! -

Cant Wait!
I'm so excited to have my wedding here. The entire family is wonderful. Every time I sent an email I got a quick response. They are constantly looking for ways to improve their venue. They also offer a 10% Military discount and contribute back to St. Jude, both of which I find amazing.
Update: My wedding was AMAZING. Everyone loved the venue. I loved that I had a stress free day. Everything was taken care of. I'm so thankful we found this place among the million other venues in the area! The bonfire was also a nice touch. People really enjoyed that part. Go for a visit and you'll fall in love with this place just like I did!Winding Creek Farm's reply:

I booked Winding Creek Farm for my Sept 7th, 2019 wedding. Kim and Craig were so resposive and flexible when it came to scheduling tour and the 30 day walk through. They provided a day of coordinator Jen, who was absolutely amazing and was the best at helping me keep calm and organized the day of and leading up to. The venue was so beautiful, even more so on the day of than it ever was on the walk through. There isn't any need to spend tons of money on decor because Winding Creek is beautiful and deocrated as it is.
Amazing service and communication, I wouldn't have changed anything about the venue if I could go back and do it again.
